After over a year of cleaning out my late parents' house, my siblings and I still had a garage full of things and we weren't sure how to get rid of them. This included hundreds of pounds of scrap wood, at least 100 bricks sitting in front of our garage not looking all that great, some large furniture that wasn't in great shape, and other miscellaneous items that just needed to be junked. In August, we finally decided that we were done hauling stuff to the curb, we didn't want to get a dumpster, and we just needed to get rid of this stuff. Even though we are a little bit far away from their home base, I called on a Monday or Tuesday and Scott was able to get us in that Thursday. Scott and one of his guys came out with a truck, and in four hours, everything we had been putting off figuring out was gone. They even swept out the garage when they were finished, so it looks great.* They will pull things out of wherever they currently live - out of attics, basements, even garage rafters (because for some reason people like to store things in the most inconvenient places). I was calling around for different companies for junk removal services around my area. I found couple different ones with different estimates. I called this company and to be surprised the owner of the company picked up. He explained to me all the details with what his services are to the company and what his company can pick up and haul away. He explained to me the truck size and price ranges as well. He came in for a free estimate to my place. I had large furniture that i needed removed, garage junk as well and couple of thing that i needed removed from the house. On the day i need my junk removed he called me 30 mins ahead to confirm my appointment. He came in with his staff and hauled away all the junk that i needed removed. He also mentioned that some of the items that i need removed would either get donated or sold and if his company sells it..then i would receive a certain amount of percentage of the sale. Within the items I need removed was a couch and a love seat. A couple of weeks later I received an e-mail from him stating that the couch and love seat was sold and i received a check for it a few days after the e-mail. I hired this company to remove large, non-recyclable items/trash from our downtown office. The owner was extremely responsive and professional - discussed personally all the details about the service he could provide, logistics of the job and estimates. This company is insured - another big plus especially when contracting for business purposes. They did an excellent job. They were polite, friendly, efficient, and completely customer service oriented. They removed heavy, old desks, chairs, appliances and misc. office fixtures. Scott is very responsive and profrssional. My prior tenant moved out and left a tree lawn full of trash and furniture that the city trash service would not pick up. Scott took great care of my needs.
