In June of 2016, I bought a Napa Legend car battery. It was something around $115-$125. It has a…read moreserial number on it and the date it was purchased. The battery failed and needs to be replaced, this happened less than one year after I purchased the battery. Today I went to the store where I bought it, spoke to the woman who sold it to me, and almost gleefully she told me that without the receipt neither Napa, nor this individual store, would stand behind the battery or the warranty. I've bought at least three batteries from this same store. Now, I can understand if I had bought a product that wasn't made by Napa that they would need the receipt because there is no way to tell if I bought the item from NAPA. However, this battery says NAPA on it, and it has a serial number, which I'll just about guarantee was retained by the store when it sold me the battery. I shop at stores that stand by there products. Unfortunately for me, I learned after the fact that NAPA in Pierre does not stand by its products, nor did the people there do anything to try to work towards a solution for a repeat customer. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. I will buy my products from other retailers, who in the past have demonstrated that they stand behind what they sell. For my needs, I will try one of these other auto part stores in Pierre next time I need a part or battery: Pierre Auto Parts, 224-1254; Advance Auto Parts, 224-7374; O'Reilly Auto Parts, 609-0781; or Zander Auto Parts, 224-9221.

They diagnosed and repaired our problem the next day and we were on our way by noon. Ft. Pierre is across the Missouri River from SD State capitol in Pierre. The area is rich in beauty, Lewis and Clark and pioneer history; not a bad place to be stranded!

We brought our Rushmore 5th Wheel to them to replace the whole front end because of damage we had…read moreto it. We thought they did a decent job on it until we took it out of storage this summer....Right down the middle of the front, there is a 1/2 inch scratch, I guess you could call it, that they filled in and painted over because it runs right under the decals. This was not noticeable when we picked it up, but only appeared later. The fact that the decals are over it and there are no indentations under the decal, show that it was covered up. This was an insurance claim, but we will not be bringing it back to have them redo....if this is the kind of work they do, we don't need it.

They even contacted a rep at Dometic to figure out what part we needed, even though they weren't able to do the repair themselves, as we needed to continue on our trip. Took my vehicle in for an oil change and tire rotation. Two guys were standing outside. I went…read moreinside and looked for someone but no one was around. No vehicles in the service areas. Soon, though, one of the guys came in and asked if he could help me. I told him I needed an oil change and tire rotation. He took down all my information and I even gave him my cell number. I asked him to call me when it was done and I'd stop back to pick it up. After three hours and no phone calls I called them and ask if my vehicle was done. They said yes, It had been done for sometime. So I went out and paid the bill and started to leave when I noticed there was no oil change sticker in the top corner of my windshield. I went back in and told the guy that there was no oil change sticker in my car. He said that they are printed out automatically when the oil change is completed. I said there wasn't one in my car. He went over and checked the machine and said it wasn't left in the machine. He also said that he couldn't print out a new sticker. So I said why don't you just give me a sticker and I'll fill it out by hand, which he did. I did notice that they did not clean the windows nor vacuum out the vehicle like most of the other oil change places I've gone to do. Just sayin. Will I be back??? Probably not.
