Many of the exhibits have been donated by local fishermen who have caught the fish in their nets. A very interesting place to visit for young and old. Good parking nearby. I love this cinema and heartily recommend it to anyone who comes to the Old Town.

As the name suggests, it is concerned with shipwrecks, excavations, and other artefacts rescued from the sea near Hastings. It's not quite as tiny as the Fishermen's Museum, but also free of charge. Don't expect to spend more than half an hour (at most) in this place, but when you're in Hastings anyway you should drop by.

It has now been made over as a local arts venue and theatre which is a really great addition to thee seafront. The Georgian church building is over 175 years old and grade 2 listed. It was designed i think by Joseph Kaye for the earl of Chichester. It has a circular auditorium so really good acoustics It reopened in 1997. i have only attende church services and once for cinema as I no longer live in the town, but it is well worth keeping an eye on.

The lead roll of Alan Strange was played by Stanley Eldridge, who without question gave stunning performance alongside David Morley as the psychiatrist Martin Dysart. We recommended the production to our guests who were visiting from London at the time and they said it was outstanding and rivalled anything they had seen in the West End. The theatre is small and intimate, but full of atmosphere for it. I'd recommend it highly!
