Entire story: I saw Dr. Todd for a re-treatment of a root canal. Not only did he not get back to me after the procedure when I was in immense amount of pain (I had to seek another doctor to prescribe me the right kind of antibiotics) but he MISSED A CANAL in my tooth and now I have to have the procedure done ALL OVER AGAIN. When I asked his offices to email my files to my new doctor, they said they couldn't email files because he does everything on film. His equipment is outdated. I am in the process of paying for the procedure AGAIN with a different doctor because he messed up so badly. I tried to call him to talk about this issue after the fact and it took him 3 weeks to get back to me. He wouldn't discuss it for more than a few minutes before hanging up. AVOID THIS QUACK!

Great dentist, very nice and professional and so are the ones that do the teeth cleaning. Most of the front office nice except for the middle age woman with long blond hair that collects payment at the end. Very rude and shouldn't be customer facing. While previously I highly recommend this office, no more! They take on so many new patients, they can't handle the long time patients they do have. Due to my dental issues I need deep cleaning every 4 months. My last one was in August so due for the next one. The first appointment they have available is July 2026. A whole year after my last cleaning check up and I'm suppose to get it done every 4 months to what they call maintenance deep cleaning which costs more. I am guessing the appointments they do have is for new patients only. Oh - and if you have a dental emergency - they can't see you until next summer. They are turning into a dentist mill just like Aspen dental. Terrible and unfortunate! If they can't service their long time regular patients, then they need to close shop!and go out of business.

I chose University Place Dental. The hygienist was very nice. I was pleased with her work. After x-rays were taken, the dentist told me I had 10 teeth that needed to have work done and sent me home with a $10,000.00 treatment plan. I immediately consulted my own dentist, who disagreed with University dental. I've since consulted a second dentist in this area, who also told me my teeth are doing well and no work is needed. I feel compelled to add to this review after seeing another dentist yesterday, a year after my visit at University Place Dental. I left my appt with rave reviews. The dentist told me I have beautiful teeth, in great condition! No cavities...no work needed! 3/2024 - As follow up to my first appt in the summer of 2021 and the above review, I had yet another excellent check up with my dentist last week. My dentist told me my teeth are in excellent shape --- no cavities; no work needed. It is very interesting that this clinic and the dentist that saw me three years ago, gave a diagnosis that was so far fetched from accurate. Perhaps the dentist should go back to dental school or take an ethics course or two. This clinic might also benefit from additional training, as they hired and allowed this dentist to practice with such careless disregard for the patient.

Today I physically walked in to get records plus my latest treatment plan. This is when I was told of an outstanding bill that I had never received. Back on 10/04/2023 I was called and told there was a new balance so I requested a bill be sent to me with new balance. Never received it till today and had to request an itemized bill again! While waiting for the information one of the office workers had her baby sitting on her desk feeding her child. Car seat is in the middle of the floor behind front desk. Coat and purse has been thrown on an empty office chair. Maybe if the office staff was doing the job they are getting paid for everything would be a lot more organized and professional. The person I requested information from is trying to get it done but is having to go to the person feeding their child...does anyone know how to do the job they are being paid for?? I thought I was in a daycare maybe hair or nail salon not a professional medical office! Now that I have a bill I will be paying it then they will give me MY records! When Covid struck, I didn't get any dental care, although I had taken out individual insurance well prior. In November, I got an appointment with Dental Group for January. Started early to go for the appointment, but my vehicle died. (Had to be towed.) Took me awhile to arrange a ride, so arrived 10 minutes late for paperwork. I was told the hygienist was running a half-hour late. Hygienist said she couldn't see me that day. And because I was 10 minutes (for a 30-min late hygienist), I was told firmly that they would not make a new appointment for me. My bad (as we used to say). I hadn't lost a tooth since I was a teen.
