I like Weeds and every time I visit Wisconsin to see my in-laws I always go in here and buy something, whether it's a sticker, a pair of socks, or a handmade beanie. They have a ton of cat themed items, hence the impulse purchases, lol. I like that they're a locally owned business and they sell ethically sourced goods. It's usually busy in this store so sometimes it's hard to get around but that's what adds to the vibes! My mother in law likes their garden section and has bought a couple things to decorate her front yard. Honestly if I lived in WI I'd probably get a couple plants myself! The people who work here are always friendly and nice, so it makes shopping here a pleasure. read more

My friend introduced me to this shop and I know why..... SO awesome! Lots to see here which makes it even more fun. It's like everywhere I turn, there's something new to look at. I loved the shirts, soaps, little Knick knacks, and earrings. I'm not huge on plants, but if you are this is your spot. They also offer plant accessories. Everything in this store is placed so nicely and catching to the eye. We were on a bit of a time crunch which is probably good because I could have spent a lot more money in here than I did. Prices I thought were normal boutique prices and sometimes a little more just depending what it was, but sometimes when you find something unique you might just have to get it. The gal helping me at the register was nice and friendly. When I'm in the area again, I'll have to stop for a browse. read more

You know that feeling of "whoever runs this place is a genius with good taste?" I get that from the tea isles at Weeds. SUCH a good selection of looseleaf tea. I have ordered from all over the country and from Canada and here's a fabulous selection in Cedarburg. If you enjoy tea or need a gift, it's a great spot. I heard people picking out gifts like Irish Breakfast for a mother-in-law with an Irish background. Pistachio nut is great, unique blend. This is one of my favorite gift shops in Cedarburg, I love the way they displaced the items, I always can find something unique stuff there, they sell coffee, T-shirts, candles, kitchen items, and yard decorations. They also sell planets, if you are looking for something special, here is a good spot. I can spend so much time there, just look for the gift ideas. So fun! I received a birthday gift from this shop, see photo, and I love EVERYTHING! The "Go the F*ck to Sleep" candle that is "infused with: Seriously, shut the f*ck up!" and says "My love is like this candle. If you leave me unattended, I will burn your house down" is the funniest thing I've ever seen. AND it smells awesome. Love the rainbow Trevor Project socks as well and will wear them with pride. My sister told me about this shop and raved about it, so I will have to visit next time I'm in Cedarsburg. Thanks for making my birthday so special. Love these treats! read more

I have bought many things for myself and friends in this great shop. Make sure to make your way to the back of the store for lot of great things, plus the outside space for yard designs. FYI - Weeds does not actually sell weed.....I'd hate to have anyone visit and be disappointed. Weeds does sell an eclectic mix of stuff - home decor, jewelry, candles, soap, bulk herbs and a ton of tea. I drink a lot of tea and was particularly happy at the extensive selection of herbal varieties. There were some really creative blends and the friendly owner gave me a recipe using the Rose Raspberry tea blended with champagne - can't wait to try that one!! If you're a tea drinker or interested in natural living, this store is worth a visit. Stoners, however, will have to keep relying on that guy who works in the warehouse at work. Edit: they now sell CBD stuff, so they "kind of" sell weed!! read more

Must be relatively new to the area because this summer was the first time I had seen it, had been a few years since I had been to Cedarburg. This place is perfect for foodies, tea lovers, and gardeners. The little garden area outside is cute as well. Plus the lady working there was nice! They have a great variety of stuff. Tea infused chocolates, little gifts, great variety of teas! The teas smelled incredible. I had a hard time choosing. They sounded delicious. Also they weren't too insanely pricey. The bag of tea I got was $3.50, which I think is reasonable for good quality tea! Though I know some were more pricey. I decided on a chestnut black tea. Will be great iced until it finally starts to cool down here in Phoenix. Also this is where I first discovered Susie's Nature Bars, which became a staple in my diet during my last trip to Wisconsin. This is not your average shop. It teeters on the verge of being a hippie spot, but redeems itself with the selection of fun gifty items and the professionalism of how the business and managed and the friendly staff. Ignore the sign outside that says LIVE PRAYING MANTIDS! GREAT FOR YOUR GARDEN! on the step and wander in. Immediately, there are fun items you don't see everywhere, but if you're even mildly aware of the new form of consumerism taking over the world that says basically everything you've used for the last 30 years is killing you in some way, there's definitely a few items to feel like you might get a year or two back. Among many many other things, there are felted birdhouses, little lids to turn mason jars into adult sippy cups, reusable bags, organic soaps, repurposed license plates and fire hoses and spoons, plants, and mountains of tea! I'm not really sure tea should get on the dessert drink bandwagon, but they're trying. They had lots of true teas, lots of herbal and fruity, and then some oddities, like chocolate covered strawberry flavored. Weird. They offer samples and the sample I had were tasty. The selection was vast, so I'm sure that even the most distinguished tea tasters will find something. Oh, I mentioned the praying mantids...they sell live ladybugs, praying mantids, and something else. You know, if you want to pest control your garden my introducing other insects. Cause when I want to get rid of bugs, the first thing I think of to do is bring in more bugs. *My sarcasm here is mitigated ONLY by the fact that I grew up around a lot of bugs and this actually should work, if you can get the new bugs to actually play in your garden. Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised by this little shop and want to go back!! I picked up a few small things, including my first Christmas shopping item for Christmas 2013...and it's only June!! I came across this neat little shop after a coworker brought in some amazing smelling tea. Weeds is a tea shop that also features gardening items, kitchen ware and other local items. The tea comes in every variety you can think of and my favorite has easily become the almond coconut. The staff is knowledgeable about their teas and the prices are fair. Very cute shop with lots of unique items. My husband and I were strolling through downtown Cedarburg and came across this store. The only thing I had noticed on their window signage was that they sold loose leaf teas - but when we went in I was pleasantly surprised to see that they had much more than that. They have quite a bit of gardening merchandise, knitwear made from alpaca wool, bulk spices, eco-friendly containers, and funky upcycled art. I would definitely come back here again. read more

This is easily one of my favorite stores in Cedarburg. The staff is above and beyond friendly and good for conversation regardless if your purchasing anything or not. The tea selection rocks your socks off and its always fresh and lasts awhile. Plus they have super cute scarves and plants decor etc etc etc. It's a gorgeous shop I love it. BUYER BEWARE - DO NOT BUY ESSENTIAL OILS HERE! I purchased a bottle of essential oils with the "Weeds" label from Weeds. When I opened it I could not get any oil to come out. I took it back and they took the rubber stopper off and told me there was a thick gooey substance in the bottom of the bottle and I should dig it out. The bottle was $35 and I can't even use it. The instructions on the bottle "Rub 3-4 drops on the base of neck" - there is no way for me to use this product. They said it is normal for the bottle to have no oil in it - they refused to work with me on this. read more

Love the unusual selection of succulents! Always have to pick something new up when I come in. I love their tea! I bought turmeric chai for my mom and she raved about it so I had to get some for myself- I sure am glad that I did!!! Amazing art, soaps, teas, plants, birdhouses, wind chimes, everything. Be aware!!! I would like to share my recent experience at Weeds and warn others. A few months ago, my daughter and I were shopping at Weeds wandering the store. An employee asked if she could help us find something. I told her I was looking for a compost pail and she picked out the item for me. At no point did she mention that the item was on sale or that is was non-returnable. At checkout, a separate employee never mentioned that the item was non-returnable. I assume when I make a purchase, I have a small window to make a return unless it is a food item. A week later, I returned to Weeds with the intent of returning the compost pail. When I brought in the item, with my receipt, the same woman who helped me explained that it was non-returnable. When I asked why, she explained that it was a sale item and sale items are non-returnable and I should look at my receipt. First of all, I did not pick out the item myself. This employee picked it out for me. I didn't even know how much it was until I got to the register or that the item was on sale or that sale items are non-refundable. It's a compost pail, not a seasonal/holiday item! Not once did this employee tell me this item was on sale or that it was non-refundable. If she had, I would have never purchased the item. I even made a comment that it may not work on my counter. That would have been a clue to explain right then and there that this item was not returnable. While trying to return the item, the friendly staff that I encountered the first time around, was not as eager and friendly. In fact, I was in complete disgust when I left the store that I called back to talk to the manager/owner. The employee started arguing with me stating that sale items are non-refundable and that is listed on my receipt. Again, I was never told this was a sale item and isn't it a bit late to tell the customer after the credit card has been charged? Arguing with a customer is never a win-win situation. I left my name and number and asked for a return call. I was expecting a call the next day, but that did not happen. So I called back and was told that the owner is rarely in town and that I would receive a call at her convenience. Another week passed, so I decided to call again and told the same thing as the first phone call and perhaps I should send an email. 3 emails later and still no response. I'm not an unreasonable person, but I feel this entire transaction was deceitful, not to mention extremely poor customer service. Two employees had an opportunity to let me - the valued customer - know that this item was non-returnable and they failed to do so. I could have easily purchased a similar product on Amazon with free shipping and free returns. However, as a Cedarburg resident of 13 years, I try to support local businesses whenever possible. However, after calling and leaving messages for the owner, as well as emailing 3 times without a response, I can no longer support this local store or Lilies (owned by the same woman). As a customer, I expected more, much more! read more
