This year my wife and I decided to switch from TruGreen (where we were long standing customers - in multiple houses) to Weedman Lawn Care based on a referral that saved us over $100 for the year. This would turn out to be one of the worst decisions we have made! Weedman only was able to come 2 times before my lawn died out due to over fertilizing. The test results are in the pictures, and keep in mind that these samples were taken more than 6 weeks later so most of the nitrogen would have leeched out - and it's still that high! We started to notice the grass dying after the second time they came and I contacted them right away to only be given a run around and a list of things it was that we had to disprove - until the lawn eventually totally died out. Finally after several weeks and several consultations with other professionals (multiple landscapers and soil testing facilities) - we were able to disprove all of their excuses and show that the only reasonable explanation was that the grass died because of the amount of fertilizer laid on it. Yet, weedman refused to do anything. As you can see in the pictures, weedman lived up to their name and killed my lawn only to replace it with the only things that can grow in the conditions they created- weeds! For perspective on the photos, the lot behind me is open and gets mowed a couple of times a month and is not watered or fertilized at all... wow does that look so much better than my yard that had a "professional" lawn care company taking care of it... Long story short, I'd be very careful about using weedman. TruGreen took care of the same yard the last 3 years and it looked great, and it only took weedman two applications to completely kill it. Weedman does not own up to issues that can be tied directly back to them and refuses to do what is right by the customer. To say I'm extremely disappointed in them would be an understatement... Especially since they are a franchise that I'm sure has insurance in place that is intended to be used for issues like this. But instead, they decided to leave a customer with more than $5k in out of pocket expenses to fix their mistake. The worse part is that when I was doing research to figure out where to leave reviews, I find similar reviews to my issues. (Included in the pictures) I hope anyone reading this does not make the same mistake we did by trusting weedman, and I'd highly recommend going to a more reputable company like TruGreen or anyone else! read more

Have been using weed man for 3 years and haven't had a single problem. Lawn looks great, we added on the mosquito treatment this year and it helped but we still had them. Likely won't continue the mosquito treatment but lawn service has been great. read more

Two issues: Weed Man claims to be organic. Who are the professional testing agents (IPM) who say the applications are safe? If safe, then why can't pets or humans walk on the lawn until 30 minutes have psssed. Make sure you read pre-season emails. I believe it's conventional business practice wherein the customer signs a contract for the next year/season service. This is not the way Weed Man works. Doorbell rang earlier this month. Rep from Weed Man...I was confused. He spent 20 minutes on the lawn spreading a pre-treatment while anothr guy walked around with a blower. $65.00?? read more

Weedman claims they will come out and re-treat if necessary. Repeated attempts to get them back because their standard service on weeds did NOT WORK did not happen. Horrible service. read more

Weed Man has really improved our lawn. They got rid of our tough weeds and improved the look of our grass. We get plenty of compliments from the neighbors! Knowledgeable staff. Would recommend to anyone! read more
