The Quality: the teachers know what they are doing. The kids jump around in the morning and sit quietly during lunch. It doesn't feel chaotic but under control, safe and calm. There are free and paid specials - free music and gym are free. There are also paid dance classes (Little People's Creative Workshop) and Soccer (Soccer shots). My son loves all of these and it's certainly convenient for us. My son has started really looking at books on his own, recognizing letters, writing letters etc. We are very happy with his progress and his teachers. They have a big screen in his class which they use for yoga, music, lessons etc. Value: It's not cheap, for sure. But many people don't know that religious-sponsored schools do not have to adhere to safety/quality standards which is one of the reasons why they are cheaper. My son is safe, happy and healthy in school. They provide meals but you can opt out if you'd like. They provide generally healthy options for kids and my son likes to eat there. It's a great school.

I'm sad that when we are able to go back to daycare we won't be able to do it since they won't accept part time kids anymore. Not only is the Director, Ms. Pegge, incredibly engaging and intentional in her time in the classroom and oversight of the programming, but the entire teaching staff is loving, responsive, and purposeful in all they do. We have felt sincerely welcomed and warmly embraced from our very first tour forward. The wonderful teachers nurture not only our son's process of learning, but our son himself. We love the collaboration we see in the learning process and that our little guy is growing in his awe of the world around him. He is constantly telling us all about the topics he's studying and is excited to show us the works he completes daily. He is developing authentic friendships and is growing in compassion for those around him. It has been a blessing to see him blossom this year. Becky and Brian (owner) are the faces of this establishment that draw in and retain families. The director, Michele (not to be confused as the owner) made our experience as parents a frustrating one, to say the least. My interactions with Michele were non-existent at best, traumatizing at its worst. My child spent over a year there. They were happy, they enjoyed being there and had great experiences with the teachers and assistance in their classroom; teachers acknowledged my child as bright, sweet and with great manners. In the few times where we as parents had to interact with staff, our approach was again, with great manners and respect. Issues arose particularly with having to communicate with Michele. Based on interactions, I would categorize the director's communication skills as tacky and unprofessional; her behavior as poor and without reproach. Most communication was through email and there were a few face-to-face, all informal. In one instance, I requested a meeting to discuss policies as they related to actions taken against us that appeared targeted and outside of any written policy. Michele refused to speak with us openly and informally, stating that she would "not be meeting" with us. The owner (graciously) took the meeting instead and we a productive dialougue. Then a HUGE and serious decision was made regarding my child - with no *formal* meeting to discuss the situation, followed by an outright refusal to provide *valid* supporting documentation. A formal meeting was requested and for a 2nd time, Michele refused, stating that "there is no benefit that can come from a meeting" and canceled the formal meeting that she had previously requested and agreed upon. Our time at Kiddie Academy Fuquay concluded when we were blindsided by a "last day" date, not by our choice. Not considering management, Kiddie Academy Fuquay was a decent place for us and we would have remained until school age, given we could eliminate any direct interactions with Michele, who was given full authority to continue to mismanage and misdirect our patronage. In your decision making process, take note of how management has responsed to negative reviews on Google: gaslighting, deflection, redirecting blame instead of accepting responsibility. If you are considering this location, consider with caution. An establishment is only as great as its leadership.

As the parent of a child with medical needs, I was especially impressed with the cleaning regimen and standards pre-covid not to mention all the additional safety measures and systems added since the pandemic started. The quality of the education is also great - both pre-school and pre-k curriculums and instruction. Both of my boys were well prepared for Kindergarten. In addition to the top quality of care, I always loved all the extras they threw in. They have special activities throughout the month, water-play outside in the summer, special holiday events in the winter, and even special covid-friendly parades and graduations! I remember being skeptical in the beginning and I was so confused by how a school could have so many five star reviews. But I quickly learned that Origins deserves every star it has. We did so much research to find childcare. We called and toured dozens of schools. I can honestly say we probably called every school in the 20 mile radius and toured at least ten. We still ended up at a school that ultimately disappointed us. I cannot believe how hard it is to find good childcare. Our son was safe at his old school but that was it. He cried at every drop off, he was silent at school, and he was miserable when he got home. From day one, Origins was a completely different experience. We can tell our son genuinely loves going to school. I finally knew peace as a parent when we started at Origins Montessori. Our son has truly blossomed at this school. He talks about his friends and his teachers at home all the time. The teachers at Origins are exceptional. They are kind, they are caring, they are passionate and they are communicative. A parent's dream. They make school so fun with engaging activities while allowing the kids independence and exploration. Special shout out to our teacher, Ms. P. And the school director is a star. She is experienced, passionate and professional; you can tell right away. She runs Origins so well. Origins is reliable, affordable, and clean. We have not been sick one time because of daycare germs since switching schools (we used to have a 'daycare sick' every other week). I want to say so much more but nothing I say will be enough. Just trust me when I say, Origins Montessori will give you the best care you could ask for your child. *If you made it this far, I want to share a few particular anecdotes because I know how stressful it is leaving your child in others' care. 1. One time our son fell asleep on the drive to school. When this happened at his old daycare, they said I had to wake him up or take him home. I fully expected the same at Origins. But when we got there, his teacher got a bed ready for him and let him sleep in the back room until he was rested. I was amazed and so grateful as a parent. 2. One day, our son didn't want to eat what we packed him for lunch. Instead of letting him go hungry (as his other daycare did), the Origins team texted me and asked if they could give him something from their snack supply. 3. Our son's old daycare had cameras and yet, I still feel safer and more confident leaving him at Origins without cameras because his behavior and positive attitude about school tells me everything I need to know about his treatment at Origins. Overall, Janet provides the bare minimum and ignores glaring errors that have the potential to harm children.  I recommend choosing a different child care center for your child.  Here are the details of my experience: I reported to the state that KinderCare fed my daughter a pancake (that had eggs in it) and she's allergic to eggs. I looked at the state report and Janet denied that it happened. This is a representation of my experience with her and with Kindercare as a whole. I have the entire experience documented including their phone call to me and the notes from the KinderCare app. I cannot believe someone caring for children can make such bad choices.  I also reported a teacher grabbing my daughter's arm and aggressively pulling her forward after seeing this with my own eyes when I came to pick her up, and the state reports there is no proof so nothing can be done. Additionally, Janet said she inspected my daughter's two arms (which she didn't) and that she spoke with the teacher who denied the incident. So, the teacher said she didn't do it, and even though I saw it with my own eyes - nothing can be done. YIKES!!!!

My mother and father in law take and pick up my children at least once or twice a week and they said they always enjoy watching the joy on their little faces. They are happy being there! I would highly recommend KinderCare at Wendell Falls. The directors and teachers are cream of the crop!!
