The other 2 reviews can only attest to administration and not to the actual practice and therapy,…read moretherefore they need to be taken with a large grain of salt. Every organization will have administrative snafus on occasion. Our daughter has been going to the school for only a little over a month, so we can't comment on the results but we can say that the staff has been most helpful in seeing to our needs. They have been flexible with appointment times and the weekly therapy sessions for the parents have been invaluable to help us understand where our daughter is coming from when she acts up. Our daughter was originally referred to the Bridges school, run by Wake County, after having behavior problems in her regular elementary school. The Bridges is a good program but it's based heavily on CBT where there are daily point sheets, detailed records, automatic level drops that the children can't make up for certain behavior and time ins and time outs. This works for many kids, but with our daughter it felt like she was being judged all the time and with the automatic level drops she would have no incentive to behave the rest of the day. It felt very rigid with no flexibility in working with the children. So after a year at Bridges, it was time to look at other options. At Lucy Daniels they are very flexible with the children and come from a position of compassion to work with the children to help them understand and overcome their emotional challenges. There is no judgement, giving the child the space they need to figure things out. This does not mean they get out of learning responsibilities but it is done with patience and understanding and support. For some children the Bridges system works, for others, Lucy Daniels. For us, we feel that Lucy Daniels is the place for our daughter. There is regular contact with the teachers to discuss the goings on in the classroom which helps keep us informed with how we can support her at home. Would definitely recommend Lucy Daniels to others.

He has a team of staff working for him and with my husband and myself to meet his needs. My son has his own weekly therapy sessions as part of his support within the school, as do my husband and myself so that we are all aligned for his care and needs. The teachers have been creative and supportive of him throughout his time at Lucy Daniels. Throughout his entire time at the school the focus has been on meeting his needs where he is at, while giving him the opportunities to grow. I was honestly so surprised by some of the other reviews I've read here. We have relied on the support Lucy Daniels has provided us and our son for years and I really don't think he would have thrived as much as he has without Lucy Daniels.

We were very worried, as this was the first move for our daughter and we were concerned how she would adjust to a new daycare. For a child who does not do well with change, the staff at primrose welcomed her and made helped her transition and make new friends. Ms. Lovey is fantastic and was our daughter's first friend. She loves Ms. April's cooking and asks for it for dinner too. They have truly become an extension of our family. There is always a warm welcome for us when we walk into the doors. Our family is ready to grow, and we are looking forward to our baby enjoying the care at Primrose.

I have heard about issue of unorganized management and poor treatment of teachers. - The food is in small quantity and sometimes not sufficient for ml the children. - Materials are not available for projects and activities. - Compared to the fees we pay, this school is not providing adequate resources. - The management is heavy handed with teachers and this is seen with the high turnover of teachers at this school. - If this school cannot retain its good teachers, then it is not safe to keep my children at this school. Honestly, if I didn't see the video of said child abuse I wouldn't have believed it. That teacher/floater was in most rooms including both of my kids' rooms. That teacher babysat a lot of families (even though that's not allowed) and even attended kid's birthday parties. Our kids' safe place was no longer safe. Downhill quality since we started in 2021. Leadership changed to an inexperienced under qualified people. Teacher turnover was insane which unfortunately is common in this industry and probably area. Leadership talked badly about parents to teachers. Leadership made teachers come in even if they were sick with the flu or other contagious illness. Not only was my kids' safety and health compromised but the curriculum was lacking. It was subpar babysitting. The last days I'd walk into one of my kid's room and it felt like a cartoon with paper airplanes flying across the room and kids not listening. One of my kids was bit multiple times in the 3 year old room and even 4 year old room. Discipline was lacking from teachers (and parents) Not sure how the franchise backs this location with pretty serious issues.

The director emailed me to say my children can't return due to our religious vaccination exemption, didn't bother to call or wait for me to pick up my sons to relay this message. I don't recall receiving this information prior to enrollment. The current director Erin is by fair the worst which trickles down to the employees. No empathy, fake professional & you can tell all the teachers are burnt out & underpaid from working there. Teachers yelling at kids, isolating children & antagonizing them due to their lack of training. I worked in childcare 10+ years before having children. My family owned daycares I know how things are supposed to run & operate. There is NO LOVE HERE. Just a brand & people looking for a stream of income. Invest your money for your family somewhere better. The owner should get a new director, it seems the center has had issues since fatmomma been there.
