We got back to the hotel about 11:35pm and the night clerk was behind the counter, no greeting or even a glance from the clerk, he was steady on his phone. By this time it's midnight and the people above us (have kids I'm assuming) are running and jumping, regardless I was able to nod off. At 3am I was awakened by them jumping. I called the front desk three times to see if they could address it, no one answered. The hotel is not in a good area, that's on me, I'm not familiar with Dallas. Security was out there making their rounds from the time we arrived at the hotel in the afternoon to the time we got back in the evening, they seemed very vigilant. I wouldn't stay here again, mainly for the lack of presence from the night clerk and because of the heat. On a side note, in the morning we're leaving with a full luggage cart and one of the cleaning ladies is changing the garbage liner on the can out front. I'm looking at her standing there to see if she'd move her cart 6 inches so I could get by on the sidewalk and nothing, at that point I was just over it and I went around the front of the vehicles through the parking lot to the corner of the building to get to my vehicle, just an overwhelming lack of customer service.

The room is nice, comfortable bed, bathroom is great. spacious room and the tv is quality. I really liked the desk area as well. Breakfast was solid but not great. I also appreciate that they don't hover. The rooms are always wonderfully spacious & I can always count on having a room that looks and FEELS clean. Their current setup is housekeeping every other day, which works out totally fine for me. Every room comes well-equipped for a business trip with a mini-fridge, coffee maker, a proper table, and a comfortable chair to get work done--plus, depending on the room layout, some even come with a cozy couch! For food and caffeine, the convenience here is hard to beat. The dining downstairs in the AC Lounge is great for an easy dinner or drink after a long work day, but since you're in the Star - there's obviously loads of great bites nearby. I also appreciate that there's a Starbucks right on-site downstairs! I'm lactose sensitive and really particular about my coffee so Starbucks is a must with their soy options. My only real gripe honestly is the parking situation.. I don't typically rent a car when I come for work but I don't quite understand why they lean so heavily into valet, especially when the rate to park yourself in the parking ramp is the exact same daily rate if I do it myself! It seems a bit silly and makes it of course so you use the valet but why not make it cheaper if you do it yourself? Aside from that, prefer AC to the other hotels nearby since it's reliable, well priced and a reliable stay for out of town travelers.

It has a nice kitchen, good with suave and lots of closet space. I really like this layout. This is a great option when you need to be somewhere for a few days or more. Also, the gym is small but it's so clean and all the equipment works. There's a nice bar in the lobby and a small pool. Special recognition to Julio at the front desk who was so friendly and helpful. He's a perfect example of someone delivering the great Marriott experience. I'd also like to add that the entire staff was great. Julio was a standout and Dart saved me this morning when I left my AirPods in the room. Thank you for being wonderful.

Lots of parking all around the building. The room was so nice. I always like kitchenettes because you can make your own meals. And a full size fridge - yay! We stored leftovers in there so I would have food the day he was busy. The microwave display did annoy me when reflected by the full length hall mirror into my eyes while trying to sleep. So he fashioned a cover of sorts. The bed was the hardness I liked but the pillows too soft for my taste. You can hear the noise of the freeway and planes but you get used to it. The walls are not that thick so you can hear your neighbors' conversations. Ironing supplies and hair dryer provided. Breakfast was fine. We only ate one day as we're both not breakfast people when traveling. Fitness center was nice and large so I could have space for yoga. Peloton bike not working which aggravated another guest. Hand towels provided. The pool area had towels as well but not large ones to drape on the lounge chairs so I brought a room bath towel to lay on. No hot tub and the pool water was cold even in the sun. The patio/bbq area was pleasant to relax in. You can watch the planes fly overhead and sometimes the engine noise disrupted conversation. Late check out is noon. They have transportation to take you to restaurants within a 3 mile radius so you can grab a meal or Uber eats is free delivery to guests I believe. Hotel is lovely in decor.
