Then I found wedding days of Cheltenham, and met Jane. Jane was just absolutely amazing at making me feel positive, proud, comfortable and like a princess. She was very much a trusted advisor and very quickly put my mum and I at ease. After (only!) five dresses, we managed to find THE one... And I genuinely felt that Jane was as excited as we were to have found it! She advised us so well on the colour of the fabric and some customisation (Swarovski crystals, and a sweetheart neck line) that I just knew I was in safe hands. Jane was an absolute delight to visit and both my mum and I felt that it was more like visiting a good friend than getting a wedding dress fitted, and Jane made sure she saw us at every fitting and really made us feel like we were the only customers she had. We even met with Jane on out honeymoon!! I cannot recommend Jane and the team highly enough for wedding dress ranges, designers, advice, and fantastic service... I only wish I could get married all over again just so I can have an excuse to visit Jane! I cannot put into words how amazing my experience at wedding days was. I had been to a number of different shops in and around cheltenham and can honestly say that wedding days was by far the best. not only is the shop beautiful and full of a wide range of styles and designers , it is classy and the staff are brilliant. Jane the owner supported me through numerous drama's (changing my mind on the dress, panic about weight gain to name but a few)!! Jane quickly became a true friend, so much that her and her husband Billy came to my wedding, Jane even made sure my dress as perfect as I walked down the aisle.!! now thats commitment! We have gained friends for life. I got my dress veil, bolero, the older bridemsaid dresses and flower girl dresses from wedding days and all of the mens suits from regency groom above wedding days. We couldnt have been happier with the service, quality and Price of everything. All alterations were perfect and Jane and Seema (the very clever seamstress) made such a fuss of me I felt amazing. Having trawled the weddings shops in Cheltenham I was beginning to despair if I would find the perfect wedding dress but Wedding Days of Cheltenham had a different and larger range than everyone else. The people were lovely and the dresses were all beautiful. Much to my amazement and relief THE dress was there, all sparkly and gorgeous! I had fun trying the dresses on, they were nice to my family and we went back that weekend and purchased it. I didn't have any trouble and don't understand the other reviews, it's like they were for a different shop. Once the seamstress and I had understood each other and I understood how the altering worked and she understood how I wanted the dress to look on me, that was exactly what happened. I wanted a lot more of the train cut off that most people but as I'm short it then looked balanced. This was a lot of work, with the layers and lace and sequins that needed to be moved but was really worth it. When I tried the dress on and it finally fitted I just didn't want to take it off! read more

JANE FISHWICK and her AMAZING dedicated team were a breath of fresh air...they took all the worry off our shoulders...the advice was freely given with much humour and understanding.. My daughter had her dress and 9 bridesmaids dresses from wedding days and her husband had his and his groomsmen suits from regency groom...truthfully Jane and her team went above the usual service...to such an extent Jane and her husband attended the wedding..she helped my daughter get ready and prepared her before she entered the church!..AMAZING LADY who totally knows her business...Seema Gill her seamstress is a most talented lady and we were ALWAYS without exception treated with curtesy...this may seem a bit gushing but truthfully with Jane on our "wedding team" it made my life so much easier as mother of the bride...a really lovely lady...many of my daughters friends have now on our recommendation used WEDDING DAYS and ALL have been 100% satisfied... What a fantastic bridal boutique! I bought my dress from Wedding Days largely due to the team headed up by Jane being so incredibly helpful and kind. I loved my dress and they made me feel like a princess and scooped me up when my parents weren't well enough to make one of my fittings. My dress was altered to perfection and it fitted me perfectly despite me not being a text book size - how they did this I don't know but some serious seamstress skills from their dedicated lady! I now work in the wedding industry and get to see many dress shops and hear a lot of feedback from my brides. I have nothing bad to say at all! From start to finish it was perfect. I had a budget that I wanted to stick to Although I did go over by £100, there was no pressure to spend any more than I wanted to! I tried on dresses that were on the 'sale rack/last season'. When I tried on the dress that I finally brought, I knew it was the one! I was on my own by having 2 of the girls there, we knew it was the one! I felt very special throughout the whole experience, from the initial buying to having the alterations done, to picking it up. Very friendly, very helpful and would highly recommend. Wow! I cannot believe the other review is for the same shop! I had the most magical time....dream dress, beautiful salon, GREAT staff! I had so much fun here, both my mother and I felt really special, not to mention the champagne! However to be clear this boutique is owned and managed by a different family team now which must be the difference.
