I chose Wedding Bell Chapel for many reason. Looking for a beautiful intimate place to celebrate finding the love of my life I found the little chapel. Wanting our wedding to be very special and memorable while not costing a lot it looked like the best choice. It was!!! Our wedding was perfect! If I could give this place negative stars I would!! If you are looking for the Dollar General clearance rack wedding then this is your place!! First off, it took me calling & emailing the owner 5 times to respond to me. When he finally did he said he was on a cruise & would get back with me when he came home. He did not. About the time I was looking at other venues that actually responded to customers, he got in touch with me. I asked about the rental wedding dress & tux. He said they stopped providing this service in 2020. I told him it was still on their website. His response "Ya. I haven't got that off there yet. (This was February of 2024). He told us to be there 30-45 minutes before our scheduled wedding. We were there 45 minutes early & there was NOWHERE to park. We had to pull in the grass across the rd. As we all were getting ready to walk in the door, we were told to go back to our cars & wait (it was raining) because there were THREE other weddings scheduled in that 45 minutes!!! What bam thank you mam- one right after another. Like a trailer park assembly line. When we finally were allowed in, we were told by the "preacher" / owner that he "never got our music". We had had emailed it & txt it to him 4 times total. My husband was smart enough to cut a CD of our wedding music & handed it to the owner for him only to hand it back to him & say "I don't have a CD player, can't you just pull it up on YouTube and play it on your phone?!" My HUSBAND'S phone. The man that is about to be the GROOM!! THANK GOD my now husband also DJs occasionally was able to get our music off of his play list WITHOUT YouTube commercials!! When our speed wedding was over ( because he was moving everyone through like cattle - cattle who was paying him good money) he then told us we had to pick up our own flower petals because he was "too old and fat" to do it. That was about the only thing he didn't lie about. The "professional" pictures the owner advertised were taken by him (not a professional photographer or even a good one) ON HIS CELL PHONE. One last thing one, the large canvas picture we bought as part of our wedding package, we STILL haven't gotten. My husband has called, text & emailed the owner & each time the owner told us he was "putting it in the mail tomorrow morning." It has been 210 days of tomorrows since we were married & I have yet to receive it. At this point I have given up. PLEASE save yourselves the headache & heartache of getting married here by this joke of a preacher/ owner who is clearly only in the business to make a quick buck & screw you over. I wish I had NEVER gave this place a second thought!! read more

If I could give these folks 0 stars I definitely would. They made me pay the full amount upfront I called today to let them know that I wanted to cancel due to personal reasons and was told there would be NO REFUND ... keep In mind I paid 66.00 separate for more photos but it gets better when I explained I would need to call my bank to let them know that since there was no services rendered that I was not going to just give them my money that makes no sense, and then received a text that said, if I went through my bank to try to get my money back, they were considered fraud, well, I consider these folks fraud. Ask them basically stealing money from folks, and not wanting to help in any type of way no type of refund or solution. I have reached out to my bank and I have also reach out to the Better Business Bureau as whoever is over the company. He called me today and made some threats on my telephone which I did record the phone call, so just beware of these people whenever you're looking to have any type of wedding/elopement. read more

The chapel was very cute and our ceremony was nice, but I'm really disappointed in how business is conducted. They told me I'd receive my photos in about a month via email and when we reached out over a month later they said they lost our photos. Those are memories we can't get back and I feel that they should have had the decency to at least let us know rather than keep us waiting. I'm just glad that we took pictures on our phones otherwise we'd have nothing. I'd say that it's not a bad place to take a chance on, but if you have the time and money look somewhere else perhaps. We got married here recently. The ceremony was quicker than expected, however, it could have been due to the fact that the regular pastor was not there due to an emergency. The inside looks nicer than the outside, but both are ok. Pictures came out nice, and i received them within a week! Overall I am satisfied, my expectations were met. Like most couples, I was ecstatic with ideas for the big day. I was also like most excited when i came across this adorable chapel. However, In a sudden and unexpected moment of financial crisis, I had to cancel our reservation. Knowing the policy, i followed procedures and explained to them my situation. I don't recommend this chapel because I had to call them three separate times and sent more than I can count emails requesting communication in order to get more information regarding their cancellation and refund process. I in no way was demanding a refund, but I would have liked to gotten answers and perhaps an explanation of what they consider refundable. Because apparently canceling 4 months in advance (which allows them plenty of time to reschedule) and a crisis is not reason enough. I simply wanted to know if I was going to receive a refund and if so how long should i expect to be contacted. Then when I mentioned these very issues, they took a bad attitude and threatened to not refund because their in charge. They are nice because they are money driven. That's their only concern. They don't care about you, and from others I've heard they rush their ceremonies and I feel as if I had dodged a bullet. Now I'm scammed out of money for services I won't even be using. Save your money, make your day more special by hiring a close friend to officiate or save up for a chapel or location that'll put you and your significant other first. read more

I booked the chapel after finding it online and am very happy with the results. When I got there, they took myself and my now husband aside and explained how everything would work and asked questions so they could tailor the service more for us if we wanted them to. We chose to stick with the more traditional stuff, but I'm sure they would have been ok if we asked for something a little different. It was a small ceremony with only 14 people including bride and groom. After the ceremony we had pictures taken, and while I haven't gotten to see them yet because we just got married two days ago, the video was provided to us immediately. I was impressed with how many pictures they took and the wide variety that they allowed us to do. We were able to take pictures with both families and all of our guests so it made it even more fun and special. I'll update this review once I get my pics emailed, and as long as I get them within the expected time frame, I'll upgrade my review to a full-on 5 star. read more

My son and daughter in law were married there on 1/7/17 , it snowed the night before the wedding which made getting there a challenge, this place wasn't very nice to say the least! My fiancé and I wanted a no fuss wedding. I found this place on line at the website "drivethruidos.com". This website features two bears on a motorcycle getting married at a drive-thru window, and we were excited to get married on our beloved Ultra-Classic. There are NO drive-thru I do's here. There are several packages offered on this website, but when I called to make a reservation, I was told it would be $119.00 and was not offered any other options. OK. It was explained at this time that this chapel no longer offered "drive-thru" weddings but we went ahead with it anyway. The ceremony was short and pretty generic but suited our needs. Today, I received our digital photo(s), one is unusable (my eyes are closed). When I responded to the email to inquire as to whether or not our wallet sized and two 4x6 photos would be mailed to us, the response was that we had purchased a "digital" package and that I now "owned" the two lackluster photos. I inquired about the $119.00 package and was informed that I had purchased the $109.00 package and the rest was tax. The end result is that we are married and happy but I wouldn't recommend this place. Lots of bait and switch if you ask me. The "pastor" is most likely of the internet variety and just out for your money. read more

The chapel itself is beautiful, but don't expect them to be helpful with anything else. The wedding package we purchased said it came with the wedding march being played, but there was zero music; we were supposed to be given a copy of the ceremony, but we've been married for over 3 months and have yet to receive anything; the "pastor" that married us that day had a drip of semi-dry blood on his face for our entire ceremony- which lasted a whole 14 minutes from the time we arrived to the time we left. We had family drive hours to be there for or wedding, and it was not at all what we expected our paid for. Every time I've tried to email them since, they refuse to respond to me, responding only to my husband at a SEPARATE email address. We were told we would be compensated for the things that were not at the ceremony as planned, and again- it's been over 3 months and nothing has happened. We were supposed to get 10 digital photos from our special day... we got 7. I am just so disappointed, and would have rather gotten married at the courthouse and saved $259. read more
