Title: Terrible experience - failed promises, high fees, and broken website I had a terrible experience and complete dissatisfaction with Webware.ai. It took them over 2 months just to get my website running, and the final quality of both the website and the logo was incredibly low. On top of that, they tacked on an extra charge for the logo design. They failed on all of their promises regarding setting up my social media. To make matters worse, during the launch they put the completely wrong domain name on the website. Because of this error, people could not access my website during an active marketing campaign, costing me valuable business. Don't waist your money! This company seems lagit and makes big promises, but not one lead came from spending 6k. I did not need a website, but they promised that would bring me organic leads it didn't. Same with socials! They promised I needed this to get leads and I got zero from February 2025-October 2025. EXERCISE EXTREME CAUTION!!! I have been working with Webware since June of 2025 on a 1 year contract and have been very disappointed in their results. We have had no leads and none of the promises were delievered on. Last Fall they "graciously" gave us a 25% discount for the remainder of the contract but nothing else was improved. For the last three weeks I have been requesting to cancel our contract so that it does not extend beyond the current one and they keep deferring to Lydia who has not addressed my request to cancel. I gave a scathing review on this platform last fall and Lydia requested that I take it down in exchange for the 25% discount. She dictated to me on what I had to write in my Google review. This company are total scammers! said they would fill my schedule with work and did the opposite! been working with them since January and they have been able get my business kick off google for adding an additional business listing that already was on google and then google flagged my account. The second thing they did was change my password to my domain name and shut it down! do not do business with them. They use AI generated ads that don't work company name is webware AI. They have cost me three months of income which is close to $42,000 a month. The web development person is Abbi! they also shut down the application to contact them! Horrible service. Our company used Webware for content and site design, all of which we provided them and they hosted the site and were to create additional content. They promised the sun and the moon and NOTHING came close. It took forever to get our SEO up and running and have a correct strategy. After only a few months they stopped updating the content, blogs etc. When we attempted to cancel our subscription, they gave us another month free, we agreed only if we could begin to re-evaluate the site and how it reads. Well all we got was crickets after that and further more they went ahead and deleted the site and had to continuously ask for documentation and all of our files. Do not bother going here!! I signed up with this company and ran away after just month 3. The egotism in their senior support is on another level. 3 months in and they still couldn't make a proper site as deliverable. Meanwhile my team has rebuilt the site and got multiple keywords ranking away. I still remember the day I got the site back. It hit me like a heavy blow in my gut.... I paid 1500 for this? Where to even start? Let's start with how they sold to me. They sold their services by pretending to be a potential customer and then flipped the script on me. That should have been the first red flag. The second Red flag is I would request a task to be done and they might do it but then never follow through all of the way to complete the task. Then as I was looking back on charges on my card I noticed that some months they would actually charge my card twice. This of course was the last straw. Actually I had been trying to cancel for months, but my "Account manger" gave me the run around and said that I had to talk to his supervisor who was weeks out from being able to meet. They even had the audacity to claim I was still in a contract even though I was about a year outside of the contracted date. They refused to refund anything even though they had been dropped the ball for about two years. Once I was able to get ahold of Sacha D our conversation quickly turned into I am was wrong and Sacha could not be wrong. I knew those charges were an over charge well because I know what I pay for but Sacha insisted I had no idea what I was talking about. I told him that he needs to provide the receipts and evidence for how they used that money. He said I would have it in an a lotted time frame. That time came and went and I had to of course reach out again. Turns out they took my money and did nothing with it. They claimed they used it for ads but obviously just pocketed it in to their greedy pockets. For a frame of reference this was $900 and I spent thousands for them to do my SEO and I maybe received a few leads over two years! I had to also pay extra to receive those few leads. Mean while my website I hadn't touched in two years still generated more leads than these so call SEO experts. So yeah they are scamming the living daylights out of people. read more

I have asked all of you to reverse the charges on my credit card since April but you never did. Your accounting department sent me the contract to remind me that the monthly billing starts 30 days after signing. You fool your new customers into believing that you can finish the website and all the social media ads in 30 days. This is why everyone is calling you a scammer (2 stars on Yelp ??). It has been 4 months. You have charged my credit card a total of $4,000 before any ads start. $1,000/month are supposed to be actual ads you pay for on my business behalf, and $1,000/month for you to manage the ads and the accounts. Nothing has started but you think you are entitled to steal $2,000 for each month. Sooner or later the authorities will catch up with you, if not in Canada, in the US. The most dishonest ever. Here is my story. Clients, beware! Webware will not tell you that your website will be designed in India, they will not tell you that you will spend a lot of time building the website of your dreams. They will not tell you that you will invest a lot of time correcting their mistakes. They will not tell you that your contract does not protect your interest even if you're not satisfied with their work. They will not tell you that you will be charged, regardless of whether they do work for you or not. They will not tell you there is no way out of their contract until the end of the 12-month term. If you do not give 30 days' notice before the contract ends, it will be automatically renewed. They will rush you to sign the contract over the phone by offering a discount. I saw a webware.io advertisement and decided to give them a call to learn more about their services. I talked on the phone with Aaron, the sales rep. During our phone conversation, he searched for my company's name on Google and could not find it. He told me that it didn't look good for my company, my clients would never be able to find me, and Webware would help boost my SEO, creating a nice website, and supplying exciting content/blogs each month. I was hesitant at first, however, Aaron promised me great service and if I had any issues, contacted him directly and he gave me his cell phone number. We went over the packaging and pricing, and Aaron told me if I signed a contract with them while we were on the phone, I would get an additional discount, which I did. My initial contract was $1497 (website setup) and $449 monthly plan. After our phone conversation, I checked their reviews and was disappointed to see so many negative reviews. I messaged Aaron that I wanted to talk to him in the morning after reading so many bad reviews. Aaron told me that the negative reviews are from the past, now the company is under new management and has an improved policy, and I would be very happy with the services if I gave them a chance. He offered me a different rate under the new contract $ 997 website set up and monthly services of $399. Come to find out, the company charged me $1497 (not $997) and $449 (instead of $399). They couldn't give me a reasonable answer as to why they did that. This tells a lot about their integrity! When I received the first demo of the website was a different name "Tamara the Magnificent" with a description of the services that I don't even provide. It was quite disappointing. I thought it was a joke. I notified my account manager MJ Laki (who is the only person in this company who is very helpful and easy to work with) that I wanted the new website that Webware was creating to look the same way my current website was. During the website design phase, Webware offered two free revisions with corrections. If I needed more corrections, I would be charged an hourly rate. The first mock design was given on November 20, 2023. I spent several hours making corrections. Not only detailed information was sent to the web designers, but also screenshots and photos for a better understanding of my needs. I wanted to make sure they understood and corrected everything during the two free revisions to avoid an additional charge. When the second mock design was sent to me for the final review, I was very disappointed because some corrections were made, and many left as is and were not corrected. I felt like they didn't correct everything so I would request a third website revision and they would charge me for it. I realized that they needed a lot of guidance, and I would spend a lot of time reviewing and correcting their posts every month. Seems like several different people were working on my website and everyone had different ideas, tastes, and visions. My biggest concern is the stolen identity or unauthorized charges that may occur on my client's credit cards or my bank account. The clients book and pay their deposits through my website. Also, my bank account is linked to the website that people in India will be managing. Even though, the owner of the company and director tried to reassure me that no one in India would have access to my bank account or the credit card numbers of my clients. However, I have no trust in Webware after they charged me $1497 (not $997) and $449 for two months (instead of $399). I have no trust when they fail to inform me where my website will be designed and who will have access to my client's credit cards. I have no trust in this company because they continue charging my credit card monthly fees even though they do not provide their services. read more

This company is run by a sales team, not web developers, who sign you to a very expensive contract. They pretend to be Canadian-based, but then outsource all your website and SEO services to India. The quality of work I received was poor and written by someone who didn't speak English as a first language. Your only communication with them after the initial sales call is through email or by scheduled phone appointment. When you try to cancel, they schedule a meeting with a "customer success manager" who is a nothing more than a high-pressure salesman who won't take no for an answer and promises everything will get magically better. I feel my money was completely wasted and my time as well. I would encourage anyone looking for web/SEO services to look elsewhere and find a company that prioritizes it's web developers, not it's sales team. Complete garbage. read more

Here I am, yet another disgruntled client. I spoke to their sales agent, on a cold call, in September. I invested a few hundred dollars as I do not have the knowledge of SEO or marketing. They say they are digital marketers and I thought my baby business would be in safe hands. I WAS SO WRONG! In the sales call, I was told that I would rank on my local map in 60 days and be ranking on searches in 90. I was on the map in 60, to this day, I do not rank anywhere on Google for at least 7 pages. I had to battle with SEO keywords that would make NO sense as they were abbreviations of concepts in my programs. I went back and forth a few times with SEO words with them. I expressed my concern with my account manager starting in January! All the while, they were taking $200 every month for services not done. MJ said she would roll out the higher package as compensation and I gladly accepted thinking this could be the answer and to give a good faith chance. NOTHING CHANGED. What I recieved was just more blog posts, written by AI and edited by me extensively, and social media posts, posted without letting me know the timing the first couple of times, therefore I double posted. In February yet another discussion with MJ about my challenges and concerns. She said she would bring in higherups to help. I didn't meet with anyone until April. In that meeting, In the meantime, what VERY little traffic, which was coming from my Facebook, not SEO, downloaded my freebie. The email that came with the link was blank except the link, and "Thank You" This is a digital MARKETING company? In what world is "Thank You" an acceptable way to market to potential leads. Where is the value? The call to action? The links? My SIGNATURE??? My meeting with the higher up felt ok as he seemed to be focused on all my challenges and had an action plan. I was told the Head of Marketing was fixing my email (never happened) I was told they also were going to review my copy on my site and see how they could make it better (never happened) I asked for the transcript of my sales call for MONTHS (never got it) AND SO MANY OTHER THINGS. The final straw is when I asked them in mid April to please put a privacy policy and a Terms and Conditions on my site due to Stripe changing its rules. I have to have those items in order to be disbursed payments from them. First, they wanted me to write it (I am a coach, not a lawyer, not a web person) when I said I had no knowledge they put up a half assed privacy policy in the top menu of my page, not the footer. I kept chasing them about my T&C as Stripe requires BOTH. May 15th was the deadline. As I type this on May 22nd I have not received a T&C NOR have I had any communication to my inquires and concerns. Please listen to these 1 star reviews. They are the truth. I wish I had never invested my time, money, energy, and frustration on a company I hired to help, not hinder my business. I have screenshots of conversations as well as emails back and forth. Short of a complete refund, I do not want to hear from them again. Update June 22, 2024; Still have not received any refund whatsoever and they took out another charge for June after I told them I no longer wanted their services and to return my URL to me, which has not happened either. read more

They did not honor my request to cancel my account and kept billing me saying they were trying to contact me to discuss the issue. I've been with them 12 months and I think the cyclical nature of my business (lending/real estate) prevented me from seeing the results I was hoping for which may or may not have been realistic, so that's on me. Webware was behind the scenes making sure I was moving up in search results. Communication was consistent and concerns were addressed. While maybe not for me in particular, it doesn't mean their process wouldn't work well and show good results for someone else in a different location and industry. read more
