This review is for an event that the club put on to show off what they offer for weddings. Their reception area isn't the largest I have seen so this place would be good for a smaller wedding. They had their head table and several tables set up to show what it looks like for their weddings. Everything looked great. My favorite was trying the food. They brought out all their cocktail hour foods first. Everything was good but some of it seemed freezer department like their chicken tenders. After they set up a whole buffet on their most popular dinner items. We got small plates and got to sample everything. Great options! Better than the cocktail hour food for sure. They also picked their most worked with venders to set up tables and discuss with the couples what they offer. I actually found interest in a make up vender. This was the perfect place for our wedding ceremony and reception. We needed a place that had the basics within a reasonable budget for our ceremony and reception. Webster Golf delivered. It was very important to us that the ceremony and reception be in the same place, and easily accessible for 80% of our guests who needed to stay in a hotel. WGC had a phenomenal package with the Hampton Inn (only 7 minutes away), and with Kittelberger Florist that allowed us to have everything within the same place. The hotel had free breakfast with everyone, and free shuttles to take our guests safely home after all the fun. Kittelberger was great with the included centerpieces, as well as for the other flower arrangements needed. Our coordinator, Courtney, was so responsive, very professional, highly organized, and made the whole process so seamless. They had no problem helping us out with specific requests and needs, and really did everything possible to make sure our wedding went off without a hitch. From setting up specific table and chair arrangements, to accommodating to an indoor ceremony, as well as being able to set up and return all the chair covers, they really did everything possible to make sure we had as little stress as possible. The food was great, the coffee bar was beyond expectations, the location was delightful, and the staff was incredibly responsible with our belongings. They were also incredibly accommodating to our limited budget. I'm highly recommending them for any and all friends who are getting married in the future, and recommend them for showers, rehearsals, and other events as well. Customer Service is less than desired. Would not recommend anyone having their wedding or event there. I helped set up for a friend of the family's Wedding in September. The manager Dave was not a kind person- I called ahead and he verified that the tables and linens were set up and ready for our centerpieces. When I arrived- they were not. In fact, the linens were not even delivered. Upon introducing myself and questioning the linens/table set up he was caught in his own lie and from there started screaming and yelling profanities. He called me an "F*n little bi*tch" for asking him and was close to physically assaulting me. He was threatening and violent. I had nothing to say to a grown man who would yell at a petite 5' woman and the profanities and name calling did not stop. He followed me into a room screaming words I can not repeat and threatened to force me off 'his' property. He even threatened me if he saw my face again on 'his property'. It was disgusting. It would not be right for me not to share my caution and alarm to anyone planning to work with the egotistical manager Dave. Please be cautious of hosting and event there. read more
