I have had so many negative experiences with this practice, I don't know where to start. First, the…read moreonly positive: their admin staff (call center and receptionists, especially the call center supervisor Jamie) were kind, responsive and generally helpful. The clinical staff (PAs, Medical Records) could not have been less helpful. I have a hearing impairment and I use an assistive microphone. The first PA I saw, Alexa McSorley, whipped into the room and talked so fast that, even with my microphone, I could not understand her. I left having no idea what she had said or recommended. So I went back and saw Stephanie Carlino. Her rate of speech was better, so I could understand her, but there were definitely no warm-and-fuzzies. I have a difficult-to-diagnose problem, and neither of them showed any curiosity about it. It felt like they were using a generic protocol, a checklist, rather than listening to me. I convinced Stephanie to do a biopsy of one of several areas on my body that have the problem. When it came back with no definitive diagnosis, her suggestions for treatment, such as they were, included a drug I had told her specifically and the practice in general that I am allergic to. So now, on top of feeling dismissed, I felt unsafe. I decided to get a 2nd opinion elsewhere. But their Medical Records department only accepts Release of Information forms by fax. Who has a fax in their home??? I certainly don't. I ended up having the 2nd doctor's office fax my form over to them. If you have a problem that doesn't fall into a neat diagnostic category, definitely don't go there. Save yourself the stress, time, and money you would be wasting. There is something seriously wrong when a medical office's admin staff is kinder than its clinical staff.

Been a patient of Dr. Bonder for most of my adult life. If you like the straight shooter who gets…read moreyou in and out and that old time visit your home rural Dr. feel then he is for you. I don't mind it, but I can see how many in today's world would view it as bad customer service. But we are not paying to make friends we need a service. He is friendly though don't get me wrong. The office still operates like it's 1985. Cash and checks only no debit or credit so come prepared. But once you know you know. He has many many years of experience and is able to diagnose with a few short questions and a quick look. As far as the lady saying she was a minute late and was turned away I find that untrue. She was probably like 10 minutes late. Many reviews state he is ALWAYS on time and this is true. But he's always on time because he does not let those who are consistently late make him run behind and that's how it should be. I've been a minute or two late and was always seen. Highly recommend if you're looking for a dermatological service with someone very experienced.

PROS- Dr. Bonder is an excellent doctor. I took my 3 year old son to him for a lingering rash that…read morehis pediatrician misdiagnosed as eczema for almost a year. Dr. Bonder saw it and immediately recognized it and started treatment. His appointments always only last about 3 minutes. If you get there early, he will see you early. He's really the only doctor I've seen to ever be on time/early for appointments. CONS - At my son's first appointment, he would not see my son because I did not have cash or checks. They do not accept cards for bills under $30. I even volunteered to go to the ATM across the street or for them to bill me, but no dice. His receptionist would not budge. I had to reschedule, even after driving over an hour to get there. That was the first of three times I had to reschedule appointments. My son was scheduled for regular follow-ups for this issue every couple of weeks. Of 4 follow-up attempts, we were only able to be seen twice. If you are even a minute late, you will not be seen. His customer service is lacking and he makes no concessions for patients. As a commuter and mother of a small child, I cannot take always control mishaps that cost an extra minute or two. I had to find another doctor.
