Horrible phone system. Left my number in the cue not to loose my space for a call back. Never got a call back.

Incorrectly booked my appointment time. I know it wasn't me. No confirmation email or text. Similar to Philip C.

my review will not be welcomed by this practice. Most comments refer to the speed in…read morewhich"patient's" are seen. I have a very different point of view as I have researched medical care for years and know there are three common aspects. Primary Care medicated, Surgeons Operate and lawyers and insurance companies determine care. When was the last time any of them truly spoke with you about options? Look at this site. They write about caring interaction and most advanced methods of care. Not true in my visit. I researched and know that DMSO may treat basal cell cancer. I've been using it for 3 weeks. Basa Cell confirmed with biopsy has regressed based upon a recent exam. they knew nothing about it. I was asked to sign a refusal of care treatment because I would not consent to Mohs surgery. Instead, I recommended a follow-up visit in 2 months to check results. I was told they cannot support my use of DMSO as it is not part of their protocol. So much for cutting edge care and relationship. I received a certified letter 3 days later telling me basically that I am putting my health at risk. I will soon respond to that letter. If all you are interested in is throughput and you do what you are told... My advice start referring to yourself as a customer and not a patient. They have a service they are offering and you have the right to accept, modify or deny. I believe this is called informed consen. in the case of my visit it was either or. Clearly this visit lacked t element quality of care

Recently I saw Dr. Stein (I believe) for a 10:30am appointment, and from the moment he entered the…read moreroom, it was clear I was 'Just a number' and his mission was to get me out faster than I got in. I was the only patient in the office that morning; the place was a ghost town. He spoke to the nurse (outside the door, where I could HEAR the nurse repeating what I had just told her 10 seconds ago) and he IMMEDIATELY told the nurse what the problem was without even seeing me first! He walked in, told me my issue was fungus without even looking at it, and prescribed a medication. He did look at the problem after having already declared what it was, but he didn't ask me the full history of the issue, and incorrectly told me that my nail was 'cracked' (it's not.) I'm still 90% sure that my issue is actually nail psoriasis, and not fungus, but it was obvious from the get-go that he wasn't interested in really figuring out the problem I've been dealing with for months now, so I didn't waste my breath. Not once did he mention in the FIVE whole minutes I was there, that this medication would cost me OVER $600 for a 4ml bottle!!! He kept going on and on about this CLRx pharmacy in Texas that I'd have to call to "Get the best price." He never once discussed options on what to prescribe, to check if I could even AFFORD that. The nurse made sure to ask if I had insurance beforehand, which I do not, which means that anything prescribed I'd have to pay 100% out of pocket for. He didn't get this memo, or didn't care, and clearly is just pushing this RIDICULOUSLY expensive treatment because they (the company) is pushing it on the hospital. Oh, and when I got home and researched the medication, it needs to be used for at least 48 weeks to be most effective, meaning I'd end up spending OVER FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS on this medication!!! Absolutely ridiculous!!! He didn't address any of my concerns, nor any of the OTHER things I mentioned to the nurse beforehand, and did not once ask if I had any questions. Just prescribed me a $600 medication that I can't afford and left. He also did not wear gloves and I did not see him use hand sanitizer before touching my hands. I made sure to use plenty myself once I left the room. I wish I could leave zero stars, because this is the most unprofessional place. The nurses/staff stood in the hall just outside the tiny exam room and gossiped about other staff the entire time! The doctor who saw me was even one of them! The nurse and secretary women were both very polite and fine, but the doctor himself clearly just had dollar signs blinding him the entire time and something much more interesting to get back to, like gossiping with the other staff. I'm honestly not surprised by the service I received, seeing as this is Brandywine Hospital, and everyone around knows that it's better to drive 2 hours out of your way to visit Paoli or Lancaster General to get actual decent service. Don't bother, and book an appointment with Lancaster General; even having to wait months for an appointment will be better than the lack-luster service you get here for a $125 visit.

Eye rolling and obvious facial expressions of exasperation inspired this 'Yelp' review. Disgusting, humiliating experience for first time Botox "injectee" of armpits. DR compared me to his other patients (not a compliment here) and admitted his intention of "mean"ness was to see me through the injections. And, Yes, he admitted he was "mean" to me. Not at all empathetic or personal, but simply, very arrogant, clearly only regarding HIS time and money. Injections were personally painful, which apparently happens to the small percentage, however, not unrealistic, but you manage as a professional and conform to the patient's uneasiness and not become forceful, but understanding. If you visit him, Expect to feel beneath his level of unintelligence. Bedside manners: 0/5. No hello or handshake. Good luck, B.S. Accounting

There are not enough words to express how grateful I am for Dr. Alexis Home. She is truly one I'd of a kind. From the moment I walked into the office, she made me feel comfortable, heard, and respected. She never rushed me and took the time to answer every question, making sure I understood not only what she was recommending, but why. Her kindness, patience, professionalism, and genuine concern for me is evident in every interaction. You can tell that she truly cares about the people she treats, and that means so much to me. I've seen other dermatologists over the years, but none have measured up to the exceptional care I received from Dr. Home. I recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for a dermatologist who combines expertise with compassion. Thank you, Dr. Home, for your outstanding care and for treating me with such dignity and respect. You are a true blessing, and I am incredibly grateful to have found you.

During one of my routine visits, they detected a melanoma at an early stage, allowing it to be taken care of successfully. I am grateful for their thoroughness and professionalism. One thing that has especially impressed me is the consistency of the care. When my longtime dermatologist, Dr. Byrne, went on leave, I was naturally a little concerned about seeing someone new. But when Dr. Holmes came in, she was every bit as professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough as Dr. Byrne. The entire staff deserves recognition. From the receptionists to the medical assistants to the physicians, everyone is welcoming, courteous, and genuinely caring. The office is spotless, well organized, and runs efficiently. It is not often you can say that a visit to the dermatologist is enjoyable, but that is exactly how I feel about Ringpfeil Advanced Dermatology. If you are looking for outstanding dermatologic care, I highly recommend them.
