I had failed my first road test with Vaswani Driving School after purchasing a package of 11 classes. His classes were too expensive and there was so much I should have been taught within those 11 lessons before taking my road test. I switched to WAO driving school with Xiomara, took two lessons and failed again. The teaching technique was impatient. New drivers should not be pressured while learning especially when they do not have prior experience. She is not a good communicator with scheduling unless if you know her personally I assume or are directly referred by someone she knows. I purchased a package with Webster and passed with a 95 thanks to my instructor Rafael. He is really patient and explains in detail the rules of the road. One thing some schools do not teach is how to observe and road test instructors are big on that! Rafael keeps ALL of that into practice from first to last lesson. Kathy also really went the extra mile to work with me around my schedule. Schools pricing and packages are affordable You won't learn EVERYTHING with the book. I had NO experience behind the wheel prior to my classes and I passed. Webster driving school is a really good place for anyone who wants to learn how to drive. My instructor was an old guy I don't recall his name but he's literally the best teacher when it comes to driving. He was calm and collective whenever I was driving and the fact that he didn't yell or put pressure on me actually made me feel more confident in my driving abilities. I was worried about the three point turn and parallel parking but this guy made me realize that those things were a piece of cake. I failed my first exam and that made me upset because I thought there was something wrong with my abilities and that I shouldn't be allowed to drive. But I gave it one more chance and took two classes before the test and my instructor gave me that confidence I needed to pass this time! I knew that the morning of the exam I was going to pass because of everything I learned with him. The lady who took me to the exam that day was very sweet and even gave me a few tips before the exam. And the young lady [Angela] who helped me schedule classes through the phone was a huge help she was very kind and caring God bless her. I definitely recommend this place. Trust me I know driving can be scary at first but once you get used to the wheel the rest is history and Websters driving school will help you with that. I recommend this place 100%. I live in the neighborhood and my daughter was ready to take her road test. I called another driving school that I had took mine with and because the receptionist was rushing & rude I decided to look up Webster Driving school & read their reviews and decided to go with them. I must say I was pleased with the lady who picked up, RUTH. She answered all my questions and the last inquiry I had was on female instructors. Ruth took her time to assist me with no rush and was very sweet as well. My daughter was scheduled with Kathy and I decided to pay for 3 classes because she needed practice with the Parking. Kathy was very informative and thorough with the driving lessons. THANK YOU KATHY for giving my daughter the lessons and Ruth for being a sweet heart over the phone. Kudos to WEBSTER DRIVING SCHOOL. My Daughter passed!!!! For all those who expect to take the ROAD TEST WITHOUT LESSONS, I suggest you TAKE 1 or 2 classes. Don't blame them if you fail. read more

A guy paid for a package for nearly $400 upfront. The day of the VIRTUAL 5 hour class, we were informed that we all needed to be inside our home and we were not allowed to take any breaks. (I took the day off of work btw.) Little did I or three others knew this piece of information. One of the other people had a child who she needed attend to and one guy was homeless went to the NYPL to get internet access/quiet place. He was planning to take the 5 hours at the library because I did not have internet access at home because he lives in a homeless shelter and the shelter is noisy. I don't think it is any of these people business about his living circumstances. The woman who was facilitating the class was rude and not accommodating. They kept claiming the reason we needed be in our home is because it's the DMV rules and we can't pay attention outside or anywhere else. This is a complete lie. I went through the DMV state policies and nothing states this. This was a policy they made up themselves and tried to use the DMV as an excuse. Also, anyone can focus in a library because it is mostly quietly. If this was the policy they should of: 1.) Stated this in home policy up front before the class (They NEVER did. Even, though they tried to claim that they did. They Didn't) 2.) put the policy in the email where they sent the zoom link. 3.) Stop lying about it being the DMV policy when it is not. The manager had the audacity to claim that she wanted people who follow their rules. I am only giving my money to businesses who clearly communicates what those rules are ahead of time. I requested a full refunded and found LEHMAN Driving School. They were accommodating, professional and way more affordable. Go elsewhere. Don't waste your money or time at a place where they lie, don't clearly state things and don't accommodate you, the CUSTOMER. Lehman Driving School is good too! I got my first lesson and learned so much! I also did the 5 hour with them through a 10 lesson package for $400! Webster only give 7 lessons for nearly $400. read more

This was my first time taking driving lessons and I wish I chose another school. The pre-licensing class was supposed to start at 10am on a Saturday and didn't begin until about 11am because the teacher was late. The teacher barely played the video and went on about how stupid people are when they can't drive. There was story she told about a car crash that happened and one of the girls in the class was related to the deceased and the teacher continued telling the story as the girl cried in the back of the class. Not to mention she spoke Spanish most of the time and I didn't understand anything she said. I went in for my first driving lesson which wasn't too bad except for the instructor took off his shoes and the car smelled like old sweat. During my second lesson I received a different teacher who would jerk the wheel if I did something wrong and just sat back on his phone the entire time. He had me driving and making turns in construction zones and for it to only be my second lesson I didn't feel too safe driving in so many construction zones. At the end of the lesson he also had me park the car in front of the driving school. He didn't teach me any techniques on how to make turns or on parking. He went to the receptionist and told her I did horribly when in all reality he was a bad teacher. I would not recommend going here unless you already know how to drive and just want a refresher before you take the driving test. read more

One of my long time goals was to get my license and today I did just that, all thanks to everyone at Webster Driving School!!! I never really drove before so I purchased a 10 lesson package that included the 5hr class, car for the test and the lessons. All in all I was a nervous wreck but I was able to pass on my second try. Is there anyway I can give them less than 1 star? They don't deserve any. This is the worst driving school ever. They do not care about the students at all. It all about the money with them. The instructor don't care they show you the minimum they know you can't pass your road test with what they show you. I only took a couple of lessons there but that was way too many. I signed up and they really screwed around with the schedule your lessons so far apart it's like the first lesson all over again because you have already forgotten what the instructor showed you. The instructor I had (Frank) was so unbothered he didn't even remember my name he never said anything didn't show me anything other than how to start the car and the lights. I wonder if he was like that with all his students. Do your self a favor stay clear of this one it's the worst. You have been warned. And please let's not forget the condition of the vehicles dirty and smelly. Vacuum the car out once in awhile please !! It's a pandemic didn't see one Lysol wipe or Clorox wipe ever. read more

Worst driving school ever always late very money hungry spent over 600$ walked out with literally nothing they charged my card with out my permission they are liars it is an extreme amount of hidden fees included they barely speak English they attitudes are disgusting don't know how to reach save your money and time !!! read more

This driving school is amazing and affordable. After my 5 hour class I chose to partake in a 4 driving lesson package and passed my road test on the first try. They really cater to your driving needs weather your a beginner or have some experience behind the wheel and give you the best knowledge on road safety.
