She greeted us when we arrived in her section, asked if she could help, helped us checkout and was converstional and friendly. I told her she was the first person in the store to utter a single word to us despite us visiting sunglasses, perfume, clothing and bedding areas prior to reaching her area. We encountered many employees that looked down while we were in talking distance. Why are stores like this dissapearing, hmm, look no further than what we experienced here. Shameful, since we can buy this on the internet. Today we purchased a Cuisinart toaster, that did not work when we got home. We packed it back up amd came back to the store and assumed we would go to customer service to return the toaster, nope. Apparently, customer service does not do returns, maybe this department should be named something else. After waiting for the person in the back room packing something who is clearly not paying any attention or aware of us waiting at the counter in customer service. When she finally looked at the counter, she came to help us, another girl showed up and said you have to go back to where you bought this, I explained be bought it here at Dillards. No, you need to go back to the department. Good grief. So we went back to the department where Kayley was still smiling, she gladly helped us again. In Georgia, this was my go to store for many things throughout the year. I will buy from the internet rather than come back in this store again. Why bother to have a store with so many workers if you can only point to one shining star. The mall has many empty stores, wonder why? Look no further than Dillard's to get the answer. Malls are over. I never need something today, I can wait if this is the level of service I receive.

I have a Sears warranty plan. Sears repairman came to my home to repair my oven . All five burners…read moreon top worked fine. The oven would not work. After taking everything apart he finally said the part was incompatible and placed the stove back together and left. I called the repairman and told him that he made the situation worse as now I can't cook as he has stopped the top burners from lightning and the electric cord is beyond my reach and 2 knobs are now broken, he said . I will be back Tuesday and will order new knobs.This repairman left with 2 broken knobs, none of the burners working but the worst part , He left the gas on, Me in the house not knowing for over 5 hours. My daughter came by and alerted me of the gas smell I called the gas company and they turned off the gas. I have not been able to cook in over 5 days. I hate the thought of him returning and knowing that he left me in a house full of gas pure negligence on his part. But I have to have my oven and now stove fix . and I pay monthly for Sears warranty plan.

At first the service department was helpful, they sent out 3 different services to try and fix the dishwasher. Eventually they deemed the dishwasher "unfixable". They sent a voucher to my husband to apply to a new dishwasher, unfortunately the voucher expired in 30 days and my husband had no idea they had sent it til after it expired. He called and explained the situation. They said that they had to send a new service person to come out to state that the dishwasher was "unfixable". This went on for months. We had over 5 different people come out to say the dishwasher was unfixable. My husband had to miss work on more than one occasion to meet a service worker at the house. As of August of 2024 we have been fighting with SEARS to get a new voucher. The most recent push back now is to say the warranty is expired, though the warranty doesn't expire til August of 2025. We have thought about suing. At this point it is October 2024 and it's been over a year since this all started. I highly recommend avoiding buying anything from SEARS as they do not honor the warranty agreement and will drag their feet.

The store is still restocking after being closed for a period of time because covid-19 pandemic. Hey, don't let that stop you from just dropping by and browsing the holidays are coming. I decided to pop in to pick up some items for Fall like cozy robe, active wear and lingerie. I found everything I was looking for and at a great price. It's great to see that they are using CDC guidelines to keep customers and employees safe, allowing us to enjoy our shopping experience. They wash the baskets in between customers, have social distancing markers on the floors and they have converted the aisles to One way. All the employees are wearing masks and the line moves a little slow because of social distancing. They don't have as many registers open but check out those cute coffee cups and did you see that popcorn? The store is in a great location. There's plenty of parking. I see the reviews about customer service but I never have a problem, everybody's super friendly and very patient. Besides I'm in a good mood because I don't have to pay full price.

So TJMaxx usually gives me some of what I'm looking for on any given day. This location is consistent with the others in cleanliness, organization, and selection. At this location, I'm usually happy with the finds, but cringing when I see the lines -- ooh, that rhymed! I find that I have to strategically plan my visits to avoid the wait. Their cashiers are pretty sloooooow. Thankfully, I found out about the hack of checking out through layaway in the back around the holidays-- clutch! Plan to avoid the masses here, and you're golden!

Obviously…read morethey sell more SEC gear than anything but they have tons of professional sports jerseys, accessories, etc. The best part of my visit was Bear (the owners black lab). Bear followed us around the store showing us his favorite things - which as you may have guessed by his name, it was all Crimson Tide gear! Bear was so pleasant and his owner was just as kind. Very very helpful. If he doesn't own the store, he sure treats it like his own which is everything you'd want in an employee. I ended up buying some new gear for my dad for Father's Day. A hat and a shirt ran me about $80. I thought that was steep but unless there's a coupon or sale offered online, you'll pay the same. We'd also like to support small businesses anyways so this was a no brainer purchase. Great variety and many things I've never seen before that I'd love to have. I'll definitely make sure to visit The Vault for my game day apparel next time I'm in Mobile.
