Great sugar free chocolate options!!! Ice cream is good. And the gift shop has a menagerie of Flo stuff. Great stop and shop.

We stayed in the Foote suite, which was decorated in very soft yellow curtains and comforter. It also included two small chandeliers with adjustable lighting. The bathroom looked completely renovated with comfortable tiling and a nice big shower. We also purchased the lunch package which included two sandwiches, a choice of side, water bottles and cookie! It also included everything you need for the beach; towels, chairs, umbrella, blankets and books! We loved our lunch and looking for sea glass. We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet get away, or anniversary celebration!

We arrived right at 3 for our check in and received a warm welcome from Lesley complete with a review of the property and tour of the space. Very helpful to know where everything is right away! Plus - a welcome cocktail and sweet bread was waiting for us! Delicious! The room: we stayed in La Due, which had an amazingly comfortable king bed, ceiling fan, and tub/shower combo. No detail goes unnoticed in the room, the towels are soft and match the floor rugs beautifully. Robes are available for guests and plenty of outlet space for charging is around the room. A note to visitors: the shared refrigerator for guests is only a mini-fridge, so there isn't much storage space. We'd suggest planning ahead and bringing a cooler for any larger items you wanted to store - or calling ahead to see about options. When we wanted to chill champagne, Lesley was wonderful to assist us with an ice bucket and two glasses! I highly recommend a trip here - friendly, relaxing, and so comfortable!

It's a very sweet Mom and Pop establishment with the owner's cell phone numbers posted outside the office if you should need anything. The rooms are very spacious and very clean. They have everything from a microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, extra towels and blankets and more. I travel from Chicago to Vermont a couple times a year. I plan on staying from now on,if they have availability.

I booked this hotel almost a year in advance for my brother's wedding weekend and received two…read moreconfirmation emails--one immediately after booking and another just two weeks before the event - so I thought everything was set. When I arrived, there was no one at the front desk, even though it was during their posted check-in hours and I had to wait 20 minutes before someone finally showed up. Then I was told they had no rooms available for me. They were able to pull up the confirmation email they had sent me, yet still insisted they had no room to honor the reservation. I was shocked and frustrated, especially since this was a major family event. To make things worse, the staff was completely unhelpful and unprofessional. Instead of trying to fix the situation, they told me to "find somewhere else to go or someone I could stay with." Because of this mess, I missed my brother's wedding rehearsal trying to find alternative accommodations. They failed to deliver on a confirmed booking and showed zero accountability. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone--especially if you're planning something important. They clearly don't care about their guests or honoring confirmed bookings.

The owner was nice and accomodated us on the night that we needed to stay instead of the night that was actually booked through their system. Below is a list of pros and cons. I would not recommend staying here. My husband and I stayed in the 101 Davis room. Pros: Extremely comfortable King size bed, Clean, non smoking, internet access, 2 soft bath robes provided, plenty of towels provided, owner was nice and accomodating given the situation. Cons: Everything was outdated and in need of an upgrade: cracked stained ceiling, old carpet, window air conditioning unit that sounded like it was going to take off. The private bathroom is across hallway- not connected to room and the window in bathroom did not open nor did it have an exhaust fan. The dorm fridge provided was hardly balancing on an old chair, not safe or stable at all. Lastly their breakfast was okay at best. I've had better breakfast at hotel chains that offer continental breakfast. All that was offered was scrambled eggs, sausage and some fruit. No homemade pastries, pancakes, potatoes, quiche or typical "Bed and Breakfast" food. No jelly or jam and the 4 slice toaster didn't cut it when you had a room full of people waiting to make toast. We were very disappointed, especially after reading the good reviews from others.

We were there for a special event hosted in the spacious yard with a band, cigar vendor, and a bar. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and woke up to a delicious home-cooked breakfast.
