I usually don't write reviews, but today's experience with Webb Chevy really struck a nerve, and I feel it needs to be addressed. I made an appointment to have routine service performed on my EV. While I was there, I also asked them to check a clicking noise that occurs when I turn my vehicle to the left. This is actually the second time I have brought my vehicle in specifically because of this noise. I work during the week, so Saturdays are the only time that I am available to bring my vehicle in for service. The first time I brought my vehicle in on a Saturday, I was told that they did not hear any noise and that everything was fine with my car. However, the clicking noise continued, so I brought it back again--once again on a Saturday. This time, I was told that they do not have an EV technician available on weekends. That immediately raised a question for me: If there is no EV technician working on Saturdays, then who inspected my vehicle the first Saturday I brought it in and told me that everything was fine? That is extremely concerning to me. I feel like I was given inaccurate information the first time, and now I have wasted my time coming in for a second appointment only to find out that the service I needed could not actually be performed. What is even more frustrating is that when purchasing an EV, I was never clearly informed that EV service is essentially limited to Monday through Friday. Not everyone has the flexibility to take off work during the week. If EV customers can purchase these vehicles seven days a week, there should be reasonable options for getting them serviced as well--or at the very least, customers should be clearly informed of the service limitations. I am very disappointed with this experience. I expect better communication and transparency from a dealership, especially when it comes to servicing a vehicle that I purchased from them. I should not have to make multiple trips and take time out of my schedule only to find out that the appropriate technician isn't available. Webb Chevy needs to do a better job communicating its EV service availability to customers. read more

I went to get my car serviced . I needed an oil change and because my car is at 45,000 miles I decided that I'm going to start taking it to the dealership so they can check everything more thoroughly then just taking it to the nearby oil change place. What I didn't like is they keep texting or asking you to trade in your vehicle lol. I do not want another car so that's irritating. Also the wait time was two hours - yikes . read more

Excellent Customer Service! !! "I had the absolute pleasure of working with Nas Zaidan, and I can confidently say he's the best Finance Manager I've encountered at Webb Chevy. Nas professionalism, product knowledge, and dedication to customer satisfaction truly is amazing. Nas impressed me most on his ability to clearly explain financing options and find solutions that worked perfectly for my situation. Nas made what can often be a stressful process feel smooth, transparent, and even enjoyable. Nas Zaidan went above and beyond--not just closing the deal, but building trust. I highly recommend Nas to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, honest, and dependable finance professional. I would gladly work with him again in the future." We've been here to look at vehicles or to inquire about trade-in prices a number of times, and I have been stunned by how friendly the staff is and how willing they are to let you walk out. I normally dread walking into any car dealership because they will pressure you to buy even if you are abundantly clear that you are not ready. Webb actually listens, and they offer the absolute best trade-in values that I have encountered. read more

Webb Chevy Oak Lawn I had one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a dealership at Webb Chevrolet. On Monday, April 27, 2026, I went into Webb Chevrolet in Oak Lawn, IL specifically to confirm whether my vehicle was still under warranty. The service advisor told me YES -- that my warranty would remain valid until October 2026 or 85,000 miles, whichever came first. I was also told my vehicle had approximately 84,800 miles, so I should bring it in immediately before the warranty expired. Based on THEIR information, I made an appointment for the very next day. After dropping my vehicle off, I waited to hear what repairs were needed and whether the warranty would cover them. The service advisor later called and listed multiple issues found during diagnostics. I told her that as long as the warranty covered the repairs, they could proceed. I also requested a loaner vehicle and was told one could only be provided once work officially began. About 30 minutes later, I received another call completely changing the story. Suddenly, after "further research," they claimed my warranty had actually expired long ago because it was supposedly only valid for 24,000 miles or two years from the mileage when I purchased the car. In other words, the information I was originally given was completely inaccurate and caused me to bring my car in under false pretenses. Since the repairs would not be covered, I declined the work because I could not afford it. That is when the situation became outrageous. I was then informed that while THEY were performing diagnostic testing, they blew off my water outlet, making my vehicle unsafe to drive. Despite the fact that I drove the car into the dealership without this issue, I was told I would be financially responsible for repairing the damage because, according to them, "it would have blown regardless." That logic is absurd. My vehicle was damaged while in their care, yet they refused to take accountability. Because my back was against the wall financially, I even attempted to trade the vehicle in just to get out of the situation, but I was unable to because of the negative equity on the car. I also attempted to use their Sunbit financing option to cover the repair costs and was denied, which resulted in two hard inquiries on my credit report. Instead of helping resolve a problem they created, I was left feeling trapped, financially cornered, and bullied during the entire process. When I spoke with sales manager Jim Jordan, he doubled down and insisted I would have to pay. After about ten minutes of a tense discussion, instead of trying to resolve the issue professionally, he threatened to call the police on me. I have never been treated with such disrespect as a paying customer. The following day, I spoke with Service Director Sean Drane, and the only reason any money was taken off the repair bill was because I explained that I am a kidney patient living on a fixed income and undergoing dialysis three days a week. Mr. Drane mentioned that his son-in-law had recently received a kidney transplant, and it seemed that was the only reason any consideration or compassion was shown at all. Even then, I was still expected to pay for damage that occurred while my vehicle was in the dealership's possession. This entire experience was dishonest, unprofessional, and disgraceful from start to finish. I was given incorrect warranty information, had my vehicle damaged during diagnostics, denied accountability, financially cornered, negatively impacted credit-wise, and then threatened when I objected. I would strongly caution anyone considering bringing their vehicle to Webb Chevrolet in Oak Lawn, IL. Based on my experience, customer service, honesty, compassion, and accountability are clearly not priorities there. read more

Purchased a $12,000 dollar car, put $6,000 down and still owe $12,000. Plus, went in for an oil change and needed brakes afterwards. Called the sales person and he instructed me to talk to the sales manager. That never happened, I was told I still have some time before my brakes were totally done. The problem is, I told the salesman about the brake issue on the test drive. He assured me that they would put new brakes on. This was literally four months after the purchase. I had to go spend $800 bucks for pads and rotors. Never again with this dealer. read more

Deceptive Out-of-State Buying Experience - Poor Transparency & Accountability In May 2025, I began the process of purchasing a 2022 Cadillac Escalade from Webb Chevrolet in Oak Lawn, IL, remotely from Texas. I've bought from other out-of-state dealers before and had smooth, transparent experiences. Unfortunately, this was the only one that left me feeling misled and taken advantage of. The sale dragged on due to delays in the finance office, and I didn't officially complete the purchase until June 2025. I picked up the vehicle on June 21, 2025, after spending several hours at the dealership. My contacts were Nas Zaiden (Finance Manager) and John Hickey (Product Specialist). Despite being there in person, no one offered a walk-around, disclosed any issues, or mentioned missing components. I was simply handed one key fob with no explanation. After I returned home, I discovered: * A cracked rear entertainment screen * A gas tank door that doesn't open * Missing grille components * No cold-weather diesel plug or cable * Only one key fob, requiring costly replacement While I was still at the dealership, I had to personally point out rear fender damage while the vehicle was in the service lane for a check engine light and dead battery issue -- neither of which were disclosed before delivery. The only photos I received prior to pickup were from John Hickey. While they looked clean and professional, they conveniently avoided showing key problem areas, including the damaged fender, the malfunctioning fuel door, the missing grille trim, and the cracked rear screen. In hindsight, these omissions do not feel accidental. I emailed Tim, the General Manager, on June 23, giving him the opportunity to address the issues. He initially replied, saying he'd review the inspection report. After that, he never followed up. In his final message, dated June 26, he said: "While it's never our goal for a customer to leave dissatisfied, the value and cost of this pre-owned 2022 Escalade in Oak Lawn, IL, likely influenced your decision compared to similar vehicles available closer to your home in Sanger, Texas." Instead of taking accountability, the blame was placed on price -- as if that excuses cutting corners and withholding information. Yes, the vehicle was sold "as-is," but that doesn't eliminate a dealership's legal responsibility to disclose known defects -- especially to an out-of-state buyer with no fair chance to inspect the vehicle before purchase. As of July 11, 2025, after giving the dealership every opportunity to respond professionally, I've filed formal complaints with both the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and the Illinois Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division. I encourage others who've experienced similar treatment to do the same. -- Eric Salazar read more

We have a 2025 Equinox that was showing low tire pressure. Took it in for service around December22, 2025 and they informed us that the tire was cut on the inside and the tires cost $600.00 ( This the second tire we have replaced this year) both cut inside. After getting the tire replaced we drove home and parked it in the garage, Because me and my husband was sick. We went to drive the vehicle for the first time ( a week later) after replacing the tire and it said low pressure. We took it back and they say it was cut on the inside in a back tire now . So totally this is the 3rd tire that has been cut on the inside! They tell us it Chicago driving, We don't live in Chicago. That not a solution. read more

I recently went to Webb Chevy hesitant on whether I should buy a new vehicle or not and thankfully I got to meet Barbara. She was super sweet and patient. She helped me out by answering all my questions, explained everything very thoroughly, and made my process on getting a vehicle a breeze. Right after that, I got to meet Nas, he's such a great guy with an amazing attitude. I didn't feel like I was forced to buy anything or felt like they were just trying to get me out of there once I bought my vehicle. I highly recommend people to give them a shot. You won't regret it. I wish I could give ZERO stars. I took my car here on 04/30 for ball joints and the diagnostic test said that I needed a wheel alignment along with sway bars and a list of other things. Picked up my car 05/07 and the very next day, my transmission went out on Lake Shore Drive in the middle of traffic at 4AM on my way to work. Tow truck came and took it back to Webb Chevy at 8AM and my car has been back there ever since. The service advisor Favian is ignoring my calls and keeps telling me that there are no loaner cars available. When I brought my car in, there was nothing wrong with my transmission. They are CROOKS and very money hungry. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE! They will damage your car and not take accountability for the additional damage they caused. I'm still paying a note on this car and it's in their possession while also paying out of pocket for rental cars due to their negligence. read more

I wish I didn't have to give a star at all I got poor service from Jim Jordan who couldn't explain the issue with my car then I get Blanca (supervisor) whom is just as clueless. To have me pay for a diagnostic that was not even described to me the issue is absurd. I removed my car to take to reliable auto shop and he informed me that the "codes" were removed off the vehicle. Which leads me to think that there were no coldest and that they were just register h to scam me when the one thing they did say was wrong is covered by my warranty coverage.....******* after my review this morning..I get a call today 8.27.25 this afternoon at 3pm I received a call from Blanca l(supervisor) trying to gas light me on speaker for an audience, I'm assuming her manager. She was trying to tell me that she didn't appreciate me calling her clueless instead of trying to resolve my issue. I informed that she called to allow me to speak which she wasn't doing. The call Was pointless as I informed her that I am still spending money and she failed to produce the issue. Then when I mention the "codes" were erased, she proceeds to tell me that she has the codes and I can come in and she would show them to me... How sway???? When I asked for them, she or Jim Jordan couldn't or wouldn't produce them. I paid this company $200 for a diagnostic that I have yet to receive. Not to mention, I am still paying for my car with another auto shop. Thanks for nothing. read more

What a horrible experience. Came in for an electrical issue. Upon arrival before even checking my vehicle they told me my warranty wouldn't cover if a rodent chewed on the wiring. Long story short they tell me that's what happened. Beware of this place! Very rude, inconsiderate and money hungry. They did not show me any signs of a rodent and even said that he didn't even take the whole thing apart, but I was charged for them looking at it. Electrical is in my warranty! I should've never been charged. Then I kept getting texts about them wanting to buy my vehicle while waiting on my vehicle! How can you tell me what's wrong with my vehicle if you haven't even checked it? How are you even charging me electrical i it's covered in my warranty. CUSTOMERS BEWARE! Record all conversations with this dealership! My service advisor lied/misled me, saying my extended warranty might cover damage caused by squirrels if they separated the symptoms into multiple $200 bills, even though they knew this would not be covered. This tactic was blatantly only meant to increase their profits. Something that should have been $200 became $600. My biggest mistake was not recording our conversation. They left my car unlocked for the ENTIRE WEEKEND with all my expensive tech and personal items inside. They admitted their fault, it was a huge security risk, and still didn't care to bill me fairly. They also claimed my battery needs replacing, even though my LoJack showed it was fine at 12.5V when I brought it in. During its stay, it dropped to 10.4V, and now I have battery issues I never had before. When they jump-started my car, which they let die and unlocked over a weekend, the center screen malfunctioned/didn't turn on. They blamed it on the battery, but after I refused to pay for a new battery and demanded I won't leave with an issue I didn't have before, they "reset" it--proving they knew it was their fault, and knew how to fix it. Shady practices and untrustworthy service--AVOID this dealership. Illinois customers: YOU HAVE RIGHTS! Consumer protection laws exist to prevent dealerships like this from blatantly ripping less educated drivers off for profit. If you believe you were treated deceitfully, file a complaint with the Office of the Attorney General. Always record your conversations and scan your error codes, More likely than not your cost for an attorney will cost less than your dealership bill. I did not want to write this review and I did not want my trust broken. You cannot blame the consumer for the dealerships predatory behavior. read more

I have been taking my car for service at Webb Chevy for 8 years and until recently found the service good but now racked up three incidents of damage and or not completing the ordered service on the car. I will explain but do not bring your car for service here and from the service manager (Sean Drane) don't even buy a chevy since even a new chevy can burn oil and they can start burning oil anytime even after just 58K miles as in my case. The service manager Sean Drane stated he checks the oil in his Equinox every week apparently being necessary. Since this conversation I have had discussions with several professionals. My car is not burning oil from inspection nor is it leaking oil more they did not put nearly enough oil in it when I last brought it in last time for an oil change leaving my car clunking and I am wondering why. It was bone dry and irreparable damage was done to my car. My car swallowed 5 quarts. The prior two incidents of damage were a tire pressure censor damaged during a tire change which they replaced. Also, they sealed a tire air nozzle to the point I could not put air into the tire and they corrected that for no charge. They said they mended a tire and did not leading us to cancel our Thanksgiving. No charge for repairing the tire after Thanksgiving. read more

I'm giving one-star because, it's required. Please do not bring your vehicle to this location. The worse customer service experience. The so-called manager in the service department needs to take a course on how to communicate with customers, especially returning customers, who just purchased a brand new car eight months ago. It was my first time here and I had a great experience! First, I want to say that Breyana in the service department is such a sweet heart. She was very patient with everyone. She had all sorts of crazy people in the line but she remained calm and professional. She also made sure the mechanics did my request for a tire pressure reset (they didn't do it at first). I caught it and she stopped everything then ran to talk to them. That's great customer service! I would recommend to talk to your sales people however. There was an older about in his 40's African American gentlemen on Saturday who I think was bold. His office was on the left hand side when exiting using profanity excessively. You would think he lost a sale or something with how angry he was. Customers can hear everything in the waiting area. That's the only thing that was a put off but Breyana saved the day. read more

Waiting 3 hours for an oil change when you have an appointment that was scheduled three months in advance should be a crime. When asked for an update I get "it'll be ready any minute now". It's 30 minutes later and I'm still sitting here while people have came/went. An oil change is the most basic thing you can get done at the dealership. There is no way it takes 3 hours to complete. Especially since I arrived 1hr 15min after they opened and it was only 3 people that were waiting and they have all since left. Along with ppl that arrived after me. This is the place I purchased my car, the salesman was great but the service experience is not okay. 3 hours is insane for an oil change. read more

The Sales Manager, Chaz, and Accessories Manager (no name), and Salesperson, Sylvia Barrera are devoid of morals, ethics, and honesty. When I was presented with a Sales Agreement, there was an "Accessories" charge included for $3,986. Turns out it's for a 7-Year Extended Warranty ($3,577) and a Rear End Deterrent System ($399). I said I wasn't asked about these things and didn't want them. That's when Sylvia had to check with her manager. She tells me he said the items were now being required by GM for all their vehicles. I tell her that's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard and that she just lost the sale. Then I get a call from the nameless (he gave it, I just don't remember it) Accessories Manager. He tells me it's true that GM has made those "Accessories" mandatory with all 2022 models. That if I bought a 2021 model it wouldn't be required. But he had another idea. Instead of using my credit union for my loan he'd get my monthly payments lower. By going through GM Financing my rate would be lower. I had no intention of going through with the purchase at this point, but I figured they'd wasted my time and turnaround was fair play. So, the rate was a whopping .5% lower. No. So now I get a call from Chaz, the Sales Manager. He also confirms the new "GM requirements". I hung up on him. I then called Chevrolet Customer Experience to confirm whether Webb Chevy was lying to me. They confirmed that those Accessories are still OPTIONAL for all their vehicles. So Chevy called Webb. Chaz told them of course they're optional. DO NOT GO TO WEBB CHEVROLET! read more

This place is professional to you during the purchase process of your car. However, after that, this business does not return calls. The finance department is awful after your purchase. You have to leave several messages and then call the managers to turn around and have to wait for them to call you back. Again, the finance department is awful at returning your calls. This is even after leaving calls in the general finance department. Until they lose business (money), they will not do any better. I will not be purchasing another car from them and will spread the word for no one else to either. No one should have to go through this.
