I know this because I first went to h&r block, where after visably cringing to hear of my situation told me that I would have to contact revenue Canada (in writing) and then waiting weeks to have my information mailed to me, they would still require at least 250 bucks upfront before they could even get started. Obviously that never happened (see procrastination issue mentioned above) Then someone told me about the magical place known as Parkdale accounting. The people there are literally some of the nicest people in the universe. They made everything so simple and easy, only requesting a single t4 to get the process started, charging me a 5th of what h&r had quoted me and taking the rest out of my return. And they did it all without a single eye roll at my complete tax ineptitude.They took the time to go over anything I could bring in that they could deduct to get the best possible refund. These are people who truly understand customer service. I never once felt like an inconvenience, like I had so often in the past, and they truly made me feel welcome.
