I really can't say enough good things about Michael and his patience while my husband and I slowly manage to send him all of our paperwork. called to set up a consultation call, had questions prior to dealing with this accounting firm. Had an appointment, no phone call. Called a second time and needed to give all my information again, put on HOLD and no one came back. Called a 3rd time and spoke to a RAY, needed to give all my info again only to be transferred to someones voicemail. Not very professional. I will NEVER deal with the accounting firm, if they cannot get phone calls right I will not trust them with the information or tax returns. read more

I had not done my taxes for 5 years from British Columbia, Quebec, and Ontario, and was very stressed out thinking I owed quite a bit to the government. Based on very positive Yelp comments, I made an appointment with Michael S at Triple M Accounting on King St. Leading up to the appointment, I was very nervous and not looking forward to it at all. Michael was friendly, calm, detailed, organized, and not judgemental in the least. He took care of all 5 years worth of paperwork for me. I left feeling so relieved! All in all, it was a great experience, and I'm actually getting money back! I appreciate that Michael did try to follow up with me. He was polite and patient in trying to hear back from me, so that he could re-open my file and see where the mistake was. We figured out that the original discrepancy was due to a missing T4E slip, since I was on Mat Leave. To this day, it is still a mystery as to where that form is. We only discussed my file. Take my review with a grain of salt. It was only my experience with this company. This happened last year (for 2014 taxes). I am pretty sure that we mentioned that I was on Mat Leave, since we did to the other company we had taxes done with the last time I was on Mat Leave. I didn't remember about a T4E form, this time around. It is possible that I didn't receive one from the government in 2015. I could have requested it directly, if I knew it was one of the documents needed. I collected all the other pieces of information, slips, that were brought to my attention from Triple M. This year, I went to another service, that electronically accessed our slips from the government. If you choose Triple M, perhaps you can request that as well. So that any issues can be avoided. read more

Service seemed hurried and uninterested, and in the end I had to do additional follow-up with the CRA due to a typo on their part. Seems like copying the numbers from a T4 should be a no-brainer, but no. Too much trouble for a simple return, would not recommend. read more

I am so glad I went here! I was dealing with another accountant who was unfortunately not a very good communicator, and was over-complicating a simple tax matter I had. I called Triple M out of desperation, because I didn't feel like I was getting all the facts from my previous accountant, and he was not working on my matter in a timely fashion. As soon as I called, I knew I made the right choice. I received good advice over the phone, and booked an appointment for the next day. The accountant listened to my concerns, answered knowledgeably, and resolved my matter within thirty minutes. It was such a relief. He even wrote a few letters for me to Revenue Canada, within a matter of minutes. I have been to H&R block (thumbs down,) a personal accountant who I'd rather not mention, and Triple M. Triple M outshone everyone! And as I'm on a tight budget, I was very happy with the price. Extremely reasonable. I would have gladly paid more for the peace of mind and level of service I received. Excellent accounting firm! Michael is helpful and accessible. This is my second year returning to this firm for taxes. I find the rates affordable, especially since I file as a sole proprietorship. Triple M is conveniently located on King West. I referred Michael to a couple of friends some of whom benefited from filing with him. I had been looking for a good accountant to file my 2013 taxes in the King west area. I did some research, spoke to some friends and ended up giving 3M Accounting a chance. I set up an appointment and visited their 500 King west location. I was really happy that my friends informed me of this place! I had one of their young tax professionals take care of my file but he was very knowledgeable and the price was reasonable. Talking to the accountant who handled my account, I really felt confident in his ability to help me save, and I was right!
