    I recently had Sunrise Electrical come to my house and repair some work…read morethat was incorrectly done by another company, that I currently am in a lawsuit with. The work they did was fine, that is not why I am giving them a 1 star. The reason for the 1 star is because of customer service. When Sunrise Electrical started their work, I requested from them a list of everything they needed to repair so that I could give the list to my attorney and have some proof of the incorrect work done by the previous company. Sunrise Electrical told me they would be glad to help us out by creating that list. After the work had been done, I paid them what was owed and waited for the corrections list. After not receiving anything from Sunrise Electrical, I contacted them and was told a story that unfortunately the person from Sunrise Electrical had to be sent out of the country for a while. To me that sounds a little fishy. One of the main reasons I decided to go with Sunrise Electrical is because they said they would help me out and it would be no problem writing a list of the corrections. And because Sunrise Electrical promised to do me a favor and then backed out after they were paid, I am giving them a 1 star for poor customer service. I would highly recommend finding another company that stays true to their word. "All you have in business is your reputation, so it's very important that you keep your word."

Nick showed up about an hour after I called and was able to get the work completed quickly. He was professional and very reasonably priced, especially considering the quick turn around time.

    We've spent thousands of dollars with this company over the past decade or so, and I considered…read morethem our go-to electricians. I hate change, so once I find a business that does good work, I stick with them. Unfortunately, Snipes Electric is not what it used to be and I can no longer recommend the company. I recently needed a couple hours of projects completed and called Snipes for an appointment. Had to schedule it two weeks out, but I wasn't in a huge hurry, so that was okay. We set the appointment and I prepared my list of work. The day of the appointment, I had a plumber at the house and he and the electrician needed to coordinate the work of changing out our water heater. The appointment with Snipes was supposed to be the electrician's first call of the day. When no one had called or shown up by 10:30 a.m., I called the office. I was told they would not be coming to my house that day. They had too much work, were behind schedule, and were down a man. I was told that they had called me the day before and left a message. This is the really insulting part. The guy had called my home number midday on a work day. He left a message, yes, indeedy, but it simply asked me to call his office. I didn't get home until after Snipes was closed for the day. I don't check messages on the home phone on a regular basis, so I didn't get the message. Wouldn't have mattered anyway, since they were already closed. It would have been so easy for him to leave a message with some actual information in it instead of simply asking me to call. When I did talk to Snipes, there wasn't much sincerity behind the apology. Honestly, I don't remember if he actually apologized or not. I tried to set up another appointment, but he said it would be another two weeks and he couldn't guarantee me that the same thing wouldn't happen again (cancellation). I gave him a piece of my mind. Then I called back later and gave it to him again. This company needs to decide if it is going to do commercial work or residential. The commercial is pushing out the schedule of the residential jobs. It is not right to schedule an appointment and not give notice that you cannot do the job. This company always did excellent work, but I will not be mistreated by a company in this way and continue to give them my business. The whole company should be ashamed of treating customers this badly.
