Me attempting to reach out to the stylist on Sept 14/15 (12:47 a.m.)

Yes, Crystal, you are correct. I am sorry that our schedules conflicted. I do still love your team and think very highly of them. I will continue to overall promote you in the future and hope to visit you into future. Kind Regards, E. Stanley, J.D.

Came here because my friend referred me to Fay. So I called and made my appointment: nice and easy transaction. Since I'm a first time customer, I was asked to fill out general information about myself as well as what hair style and package I desired. They listed the rules of the shop such as: no men or children allowed unless serviced and how they are not responsible for persons with tender heads. After signing, I got braided up pretty quick by the braider named Tierra (I think that's her name). She didn't braid too tight and whether you have thick hair or not, they do add hair while braiding. Not sure why The shop is painted purple and average looking. Nothing modern and upgraded, but it's not a hole in the wall either. The beauticians have their licences posted near their station. So Fay is licenced. I'm always looking for licensure in places! I had to wait a while (like at least 45 mins) for Fay because she was still with her client before me. I wasn't in a rush so i wasn't too inconvenienced. I got the $60 package (Countess) and since I brought in used hair, it was an extra $25. This, I was already aware of so my total was as expected: $85. Fay did my hair pretty quick. She has a wonderful personality and I enjoyed her company. I was at the shop for a good 3 hours. As for the actually sew in, It's definitely $65 quality. There are a few lumps around the edges, but nobody gon be touching my head, so I really don't care. I've had way better sew ins, but I've also paid much more and those were for two very special events. Since I'm not going anywhere special enough to pay crazy prices, the price here was prefect for exactly what I needed.

My last (and final) visit. Jason didn't even glue everything, and the closure had patches missing from them having to redo it 2x.

Where do I start... I sent pics and descriptions of exactly what I wanted and I wanted the best quality hair. I wanted blonde with roots like "oops! I'm not a natural blonde, hehe" and not "I haven't gotten a touch up in 6mths". The owner who did the coloring messed up and wanted to only recolor some of the tracks and not all. Then told me that the hair couldn't get to the color I wanted. She knew the hair wouldn't go lighter cause I bought the hair from their shop! She tried to talk me into one of the blonde wigs but all the wigs on that wall wouldn't have been worth what I paid for the extensions quality wise. The first install was glued directly on my hairline, last install not completely glued down today. Refused to give a paper itemized receipt, had to get police involved. Got the money back from the terrible dye job but this will be I civil matter. This salon is absolutely not worth the money they charge and the 2 stylists and owner are all very unprofessional and not good at their jobs at all. 3 visits in 2wks and they had the audacity to be upset I didn't tip on the subsequent 2 visits to fix their mistakes. They kept some of my bundles cause my hair isn't as full and a lot less leftover. $830. And all they refunded was the color charge. They should have refunded me my deposit cause I wouldn't have went there if they just admitted they couldn't do what I wanted. They should be ashamed. Do yourself a favor and get your hair done elsewhere, this isn't the first issue like this from this shop.

The hair was 16" & Jason cut it in layers for me.

A very comfortable atmosphere #myGoTo Jason was my stylist. I loved it. P.S. He was gentle with my edges

Sasha ALWAYS slays my hair! She is attentive, gentle and extremely knowledgeable. Whenever I have questions regarding styling, or maintenance she lets me know without making me feel insecure about my inquiries. I have been a client for a year now and seriously will not even consider anyone else touching my mane.

Fay did her thing! Love it!!!

Sooooo I moved from Vegas years ago!! Just moved back and made an appointment, didn't request anyone specific as I was getting braids this time (last time I got a weave) when I got there I was with my girl Faye!! I knew it was fate!! As usual I wasn't disappointed at all and honestly I knew I was in for a treat!! Thanks Faye, this is my birthday hairstyle and I LOVE!! Weave A Divas is the spot and Faye is the business!! Like other have said she's so sweet and nice!! Thank you!!

16 inches of virgin Malaysian hair! *does hair flip*
    Sylvia O.

The only reason I'm not giving this place 5 starts is because I haven't had my weave in long enough (5 days) to see how long the sew in lasts. With that being said, they do call and send an email reminder the day before your appt which I love. The salon is spacious inside and the girls are awesome. Easy to talk to and started my hair right on time. They provide 100% virgin Malaysian hair and you can tell them a day before your appt if you want it dyed or not. You can also bring in your hair if you want. I paid $250 for 2 bundles, cut, style and full sew in all together. Sasha was my girl! She also makes wigs too. From braid to finish it took about 2.5 hours which was faster than I expected. I went from 4 inches of hair to 16 in a day :-) If it lasts long, I will definitely be coming back.

    Haley I.

Braids were way to tight , I went in not knowing a thing about weave or sew ins or anything at all and I paid $650 for 22 inch Malaysian to be sewed in with non of my real hair showing . I couldn't last a full week because the braids were so tight I had gotten soars all around my scalp and in my part my skin had actually ripped apart creating a cut in my part. Also my braids in the back were showing and on my sides in the front. I went in to get it removed told them all my issues and they just took it out the one stylist suggested I just had a sensitive scalp and they gave me my hair and sent me away with no style on Valentine's Day!!. I paid $650 for Malaysian hair that 1. Stinks and for tons of the little real hair I had left to fall out and soars in my head from braids that were way to tight. So thanks. That's my first experience with weave ....

Beware....Do not buy the hair from them. It is not Virgin Malaysian hair! This is fake hair!!!
    Sharie N.

First, I want to say that I immediately fell in love with my bob weave ($250 Duchess package, which includes the install of (14,14in) virgin Malaysian). When Sasha finished my hair and turn me around in the chair, I was very happy with the finished product (this was on a Thursday) . On Wednesday night (a week later) my head started to itch like crazy, but I thought to myself "this is the life of wearing weaves". However, on Thursday night, my head was itching again and at this point it was an unbearable pain that went along with the itching. I was really worried and wondering what the problem could have been (definitely not the common weave itching). So, Friday, morning I looked up possible causes for the itching and the pain I was feeling. I found that braid hair can sometimes cause allergies if it is not clean. So, I went to Weave A Diva that morning to consult with the stylist with hope that someone can give me insight and maybe solve the problem that I was having ( severe itching and pain to touch). I was told initially "well weaves itch" (really at this point I new customer service wasn't their strong suit). Then I was advised to see a dermatologist because she had never heard of this before. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and considered it , but I couldn't help to think of the many braids and weaves I've had in the past ( I've never had this issue). I was curious as to what kind of product they put in my head. So, I asked what kind of braid hair they used, she told me kanekalon hair ( yea, I figured that) I had to ask to see the package. She then suggested I try washing my hair because again she's never heard of what I was talking about and maybe it could be the net, hair or I'm allergic and /or try to spray my scalp or wash my hair. So, I asked her to look at my scalp she did and told me she didn't see anything through the net. I couldn't help but think ( your the cosmetologist ask me to look at my scalp and/ or offer to take it down to figure out the irritants, Right?). There was nothing more offered. I went ahead and asked if they would wash it for free, considering it could be the products they used causing the irritant ( she said it) The answers was no. Then the manager offered to wash my hair for free, but charge me $25 to style my hair again. I agreed as I couldn't wait to get some relief. The manager washed my hair and was attentive to what I was feeling though out that process. However, I had my hair styled by another stylist which was very unexpected and honestly my hair didn't look as good as it did initially or even when I came in that day. Any how, the itching ceased for a couple of hours. I was literally afraid to touch, sleep or wear anything On my head. I had a trip to California already planned, so I went on the trip and had to bare with the irritation. As soon as I got back. I had my aunt take out my weave. You won't believe the matted mess of whisker that was found along the weft of the hair that was underneath the beauty of such a great hair style. I knew immediately that this was not virgin Malaysian hair. I was relieved and my scalp no longer itched nor did I have pain ( see pics for details). The weft of the weave had long spiky, matted and course hairs that stuck out like cactus prongs from the track causing an irritation to my scalp. To make a long story short (lol) I went to Weave A Diva, to inform them of the non quality hair that was put in my head ( I'm sure they new) and to ask for a reimbursement as this was an at least 6 week investment that didn't last over a 1 week due to the irritation it caused. I was told "you supposed to comb out that part of the weft" (wow that's a new one) and " we don't do refunds". Not surprised ($250 lost, oh well)but, Ladies and Gentle Men PLEASE BEWARE...HORRIBLE PRODUCTS AND LACK OF CUSTOMER APPRECIATION AND SERVICE!!! I'm going to start going back to California for my weave installs. I won't be swindled there... Lol!

Regardless of what products I've used or any amount of hair trims, it constantly felt brittle and would tangle from how dry it was, leaving my hair looking like straw. Then I found Allison. As a California native, I now schedule my Vegas trips around my haircuts with Allison because I refuse to go anywhere else. Incredible skills and personalized knowledge. My stylist did a great job with my haircut, and I could tell she's efficient and experienced. That said, I did run into an issue with the color service. The dye left visible staining along my hairline, temples/sideburn area, and behind my ears, which I wasn't informed about until after everything was done and I saw it in the mirror. The stylist did try to remove it, but it didn't come off easily, so I left with noticeable staining on my skin. I understand that things can happen, especially with different products, but I do wish there had been more communication in the moment and a more thorough final check/cleanup before I left the salon, especially since the staining was visible in multiple areas. Unfortunately, I'm not very comfortable waiting for it to fade on its own, and I'm also not inclined to return for a future service. Overall, I think this place has a lot going for it, but I hope they can improve the finishing process and post-service support so clients don't leave with unexpected issues. UPDATE: (response to Business Owner response) Thank you for the response, Emily. I appreciate you taking the feedback into consideration. I understand that staining can sometimes happen, but my concern was more around the visibility in multiple areas and that it wasn't fully addressed before I left. I've had my hair colored many times in the past and haven't experienced this level of staining, which is why it stood out to me. I'm glad to hear you'll be focusing on improving the final check and communication moving forward.

The whole experience was just really nice from start to finish. The salon is clean, welcoming, and has such a good vibe. I loved that they have a private area to change into a smock--it's those little touches that make a difference. Daniella greeted me right away and gave me such a relaxing hair wash too. And I have to say... if you're looking for an Asian hairstylist or that Korean/Japanese-inspired look, this is the place. They even had K-pop music playing, which made the whole experience feel fun and added to the vibe. I walked out feeling like a new person. Definitely found my new go-to spot. Highly recommend!

It has been 3 weeks since I had my hair done by Jade and I STILL am so disgusted and cannot even…read morelook in the mirror without wanting to cry at how she ruined my hair! This review is strictly on Jade, avoid her at ALL costs! She is impersonal, rushed and WAY to big for her britches. First off I saw her IG and was impressed, now I'm convinced her photos are filtered. I met with her 2 weeks prior to the service so she could look at my hair which by the way had not been touched in a year so it was all virgin hair and I explained to her my last stylist moved abd I asked for an ash blonde balayage, haircut with choppy ends, a money piece and dimensional color. She said no problem and quoted me $385 for everything including toner. I left a $150 deposit and scheduled for 2 weeks later. Day of service, Jade didnt seem to remember me or a damn thing I asked for which is where I should have left. I had to repeat myself , show her the inspiration photo again and she again claimed she could do what I asked. I KNEW I was in trouble when not only did she have 2 other people she was doing the same time as me, but when she started doing nothing but just slapping bleach on me with no care to where she was placing the foils, no teasing, no care to placement. She literally was just slapping foils on my head. Then when she went to wash it she says " you are going to be more neutral". Right there is knew she was sugarcoating the fact she messed up! NEVER in the 20 years I have had my hair highlighted has a stylist said this and NEVEsr has my hair come out SO awful!!! Then she doesnt even blow dry me, her assistant does, THEN my so called " haircut" I swear to god she literally combed my hair forward on both sides and just cut straight across!!!!! Are you f$&kin kidding me!!!!! Holding back tears, and so so upset, she then tries to say to me " oh well yeah the brassiness you see is normal but people get really mad about it". Noooo really? Which tells me I am not her first victim. She did nothing but rushed the service, took ZERO time and effort at what she was doing, tried to sugarcoat her mistake and carelessness, and THEN the icing on the cake. When I went to pay the $385 mess she made which was the price she quoted at the consultation she then tried to charge me an additional $90 saying she never discussed the haircut ( again the straight across 3 minute chop) at the consult. BS!!!!!!! And even if she hadnt how in the WORLD could she justify a 3 minute chop a $75 haircut!!! Get real Jade! This woman is living WAY to much on her high horse and doesnt seem to care at ALL about her work, just money. I left there so mad and upset I immediately addressed the owner and manager and the ONLY saving grace to this was they did actually refund me and agreed Jade would be addressed for her horrible service and what she did, that is the only good thing I will say about this salon is the owner took responsibility for his stylist ( and i use the term stylist very loosely Jade's horrible work) . So if youbare going to come here stay FAR away from Jade, she is very unprofessional in more ways than one.

As I meet with the specialist they designate for my appointment, I show them a photo of my desired hair style and each hair specialist certainly has the ability to create that expectation to the very best of their ability in coordination with my hair type. I don't ask for a specific specialist because I am confident of The Parlor Avedas' hiring practices and policies are far higher than my standards plus I prefer availability of scheduling to my needs. NOTE : I could request the same professional. . Price point is absolutely in line with a professional salon without being outrageous. The feeling of pleasant personalities with a drama free environment makes this the perfect Salon experience for what I look for.. The Parlor Aveda will always be there as hair stylist move around. I would be happy to recommend this particular salon for anyone.
