We looked through each photographers portfolio, but found ourselves going back to Josh's. Once we realized that we were comparing the other photographers work to Josh's, we knew that we had to choose Josh. From the moment I contacted Josh, I knew that we had chosen the right photographer to capture our daughters wedding. Not only are his credentials impeccible, he was organized and and made everything seamless and we NEVER worried. From the very beginning, Josh was prompt in answering all of our emails and took the time to answer all of our questions. Due to COVID, we had to postpone the wedding a year and Josh was very understanding and sympathetic and had no issue with moving the date out. On the day of the wedding, he and his wife Nicole spent the entire day/evening making sure to not only capture every moment, he was also able to get all of the shots that we had requested. He took our vision and brought it to life and we couldn't be more grateful. Twenty minutes before the wedding was to begin, Josh impressed us again when we were informed that the DJ had not shown up. Through all the chaos, panic and tears, Josh made the unfortunate situation bearable with his jovial personality and his positive energy and warmth. They provide a contract immediately to help make sure you understand your options and select the package that best fits your needs. They are very communicative and do not mind answering your questions. The entire process was painless, they accept electronic forms of payment and electronic signatures. Further, they are responsive via email. The pictures are phenomenal. While we were taking them not every background was perfection, yet when I look at the individual photos the background is not an issue at all. Steven is so talented that the photo process feels organic. The video was perfection. It was edited to include all the most important parts, including music, and will be treasured for years to come. They provided a flash drive of all the photos that made it easy to print and access each photo. Furthermore, they provide a file of Steven Palm labeled photos that way you can share on social media. Lacey was absolutely WONDERFUL…read more During our first appointment, she asked us about our vision for the engagement photos because she wanted to make sure that we got exactly what we wanted. I'm bad at things like that, but we knew we wanted our photos to showcase the desert because my husband and I met and fell in love here in Tucson. She also gave us some guidance for what outfits to wear, and what to expect on the day of the photos. The day we took the photos, Lacey took us to the most perfect spot with lots of grass, cactus, and beautiful views of the mountains... It fit our request for incorporating the desert perfectly! I was really nervous because I'm not exactly a model, but Lacey was so helpful with poses, and her directions were easy to follow and made for some gorgeous photos. It was amazing how efficient she was! The time flew by, and we had a great time with lots of laughs. Lacey has a way of making people feel very comfortable, even when a camera is pointing at them! A couple of weeks later, Lacey had us come into the studio to view our pictures. She made a slide show (set to music!) of all of our photos. They were so. beautiful. We had a hard time choosing our favorites! She gave us lots of time to look at the photos and choose our favorites. Then she worked some kind of magic on them, because when we got our order a couple of weeks after that, they were even more gorgeous than when we picked them out earlier. She perfectly captured our love for each other and the desert. Lacey is an artist, and she puts so much care and love into the work she does.
