I was hesitant to book an appointment based on the other reviews. However I decided to form my own…read moreopinion. My teenage son needed a mole removed one on his neck, and one on his back. From the moment I scheduled his appointment to the moment we walked out the office, our experience was A+ all the way. The office is very clean but decor is 1980s. Staff was friendly at the check-in and throughout the process of the visit. The doctor came in friendly, asked my son his reason for the visit, and asked if we want it done today. I loved that so we don't waste more time driving back and forth. The entire visit took 1/2 hr. I really loved his no nonsense approach , straight to the point no wasting time. If you need a doctor who's going to baby you, and drag out the visit so you feel special this may not be for you. If you need a straight shooter this is the man. I like this doctor and will definitely return if needed in the future.

I am not rating this doctor out of respect for him and the fact that I did not even know who he…read morewas. It was when I received a letter from a collection agency called Eastern Account System of Connecticut that Dr Woodbury II billed me for a service I never scheduled nor received. I understand why some reviews mention horrible staff. What kind of "expletive" office invoices the wrong person? In addition, I live in the capital of the dermatologists to the stars. Why would I haul myself all the way on the other side of the coast to see a dermatologist?! No offense to you Dr. Woodbury but you REALLY need to hire a new office staff. This star rating is for the incompetent office staff.

If you are looking to get any type of dermatology work done, don't hesitate to come here. As soon…read moreas I walked in, I was greeted by the nicest front desk staff I have ever met. They made me feel so welcomed. For it being my first time getting laser treatment I have never felt in better hands. The office is extremely clean and sanitized. Dr. Gasiorowski was an absolute dream to work with and her assistant made sure to explain everything to me during the process because they knew I was nervous. I will continue to come back here and this will be the only place I ever go to from now on. Thank you everyone who works in this office and I can't wait to come back again next month for another treatment!

I can't speak to their professional competence or skill as doctors, but I had a negative experience…read morewith this practice. The biggest problems for me as a prospective new patient were: (1) Lack of price transparency: they refuse to provide even basic pricing information (for out-of-pocket, cosmetic skin treatments) without a consultation. This forces customers who might otherwise look elsewhere for treatment to schedule a consultation and pay a hefty "consultation fee". SIDENOTE: at the consultation, which lasts all of about 5-10 minutes, I still had to twist the doctor's arm to provide pricing details for the procedures I wanted. (2) The consultation fee: a staff member told me over the phone that the doctors will "usually" apply the $215.00 consultation fee to the cost of future treatments. This information turned out to be wrong and/or misleading. The doctor refused to apply any part of my consultation fee to any future procedures (which would have cost me several thousand dollars). They then explained that the decision to apply the fee to future treatment is actually always a discretionary, case-by-case decision -- this was definitely not the impression I got when I booked the appointment. (3) Bedside manner and staff: in general, the staff was not very friendly (both on my arrival at the office and over the phone) and the doctor was contrarian and aloof. For example, when I repeated some information she gave me back to her (trying to understand it), she goes, "don't put words in my mouth." Based on this experience, I would be wary of dealing with this practice, even if they are technically proficient at what they do.

I went to her for a breast lift and an abdominoplasty (tummy tuck). The experience is several months long, and very deep. When choosing surgeons I recommend you choose with thought and care because you WILL need physical, emotional, and informational support. Dr. Raskin gives you her personal attention. Whenever I have a question, if I call or email, it is answered immediately - often with a personal phone call. She is flexible with scheduling, and makes your visits feel worthwhile. You communicate with people (the best people!), not a large healthcare system. Dr. Raskin is very proud of her work, as she should be, and takes you through everything with care and compassion. I am more than pleased with my choice and confidence in her, and her wonderful team. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I had a consultation here that cost $300. Prior to booking, the office required me to submit my…read morecomprehensive medical questionnaire and current medication list, which I completed fully and sent in advance. During the actual appointment, the surgeon looked at my list, identified that I take a prescription blood thinner, and stated I would need to stop it for two weeks to proceed safely. Because it is medically impossible for me to pause this medication, the surgery was a total non-starter and the appointment was effectively over. While I respect the doctor's medical expertise, my medication was clearly disclosed on the intake paperwork days before the visit. A properly managed front office should screen forms for absolute contraindications before booking an appointment and collecting non-refundable fees. To make matters worse, when I pointed out this administrative oversight and offered a reasonable 50% compromise ($150 refund) to account for the doctor's time, the office manager refused. They attempted to justify keeping the full fee by sending me a copy of a policy stating fees are non-refundable for "cancellations." I did not cancel; I fully attended the appointment. When I asked to escalate the issue to the surgeon to review , the practice completely ignored my emails. The medical care here may be fine, but they do not actively screen advance paperwork to protect patients from paying for impossible consultations, and they will misapply their own contracts to avoid issuing a refund. Double-check your own medical eligibility before giving this office any financial details.
