It became clear the appointment didn't really matter and the wait was likely going to be much longer, so I ended up leaving. If appointments aren't honored, it makes you wonder why there's a system at all. On top of that, there was a child running around the salon barefoot, which really took away from the relaxing atmosphere you expect when getting a manicure or pedicure. The salon itself is very fancy inside, but the service did not match the prices. I went in asking for a builder gel fill-in because I was trying to save money. I specifically told the man doing my nails multiple times that I wanted a fill-in, not a whole new set. He said "yeah, I gotcha," but then he completely drilled the builder gel off of one of my nails. As soon as I noticed what he was doing, I told him that's not how you do a fill-in. He responded saying, "That's a fill-in," even though he had already removed the entire builder gel from the nail. At that point, it was basically too late because he continued doing it to all of my nails anyway, turning it into a whole new set that I never asked for. To make matters worse, the man doing my nails seemed very inexperienced. At one point he drilled directly into my skin because he was not paying attention, and my finger actually started bleeding. So instead of charging me for a fill-in (which should've been around $40-$45), he charged me for a completely new builder gel set. With chrome added for SHORT nails, my total ended up being around $85, which is ridiculous considering I never asked for a whole new set in the first place. On top of that, he did not do my nails correctly. I asked for gel French tips, but he used regular nail polish for the French tip and then put gel over it. That is not what I asked for at all. My French tips have already been chipping like crazy because he used regular polish instead of gel like I specifically asked for. He also shaped my nails badly, and when I tried to say something, he just brushed me off with "yeah yeah" and kept going. It genuinely felt like he did whatever HE wanted instead of listening to anything I asked for. I did not tip because the service and quality were not good. My friend also had a bad experience. She showed the lady multiple reference pictures, and her nails looked nothing like them. The lady barely even looked at the picture and gave her attitude the whole time. She asked for seashell-style polka dots, and they literally just painted random dots on her nails. My friend paid over $95 for nails that didn't even look right. If your friends are telling you this place is cheap, it's not. We both paid way too much for simple designs, and neither of us got what we asked for. We will not be returning.

After she does the fill (with a totally different color dip powder mind you, original was purple and she picked something like a burgundy glitter) she proceeds to google simple Halloween nail designs on her phone. Now, by all means, get inspiration where ever you need to, however I brought a reference picture. When she asked me if I liked it, I told her that I wasn't happy at all and it was nothing like what I brought in. She then said that she thought I wanted something Halloween themed, but my picture was of a crescent moon and constellations. That being said, she did offer to take the design off and leave it a solid color, but her entire mood shifted drastically. I declined and literally told her I was going to paint over it. The lady at the front when I paid asked me how I liked my nails and I was literally in tears by that point and told her I hated them and was going next door to target to buy polish to cover it. She immediately got another tech to take a look, she herself was floored as well. They both were going to have Kim fix it, but I personally refused to sit back down at her station to do anything else. They took my number and the owner was supposed to contact me, that has still let to happen 5 days later. At this point, a woman comes around the corner and tells me to "sit down and wait awhile" as she points to a chair by the window. I had no idea how long "awhile" was going to be and I contemplated walking out. My pedicure, the Triple Shot, was very relaxing but I'm sitting waiting for the polish to dry and am just meh about what my freshly painted toes look like - they don't look like they were just professionally done. They do, however, look better than when I walked in. Noire Nail Bar is a bit run down inside. The vinyl is off all of the manicurists chairs - they are just shabby. It looks like it needs to close for a long weekend of deep cleaning floor to ceiling. I just watched a woman in a wheelchair being told that the only sink they could use leaks so they couldn't help her. The woman was frustrated and unfortunately, was treated rudely by the same woman who made me sit down. My pedi was $60 plus a tip which I thought was reasonable. Even so, it wasn't an enjoyable enough experience to be back.

This was in the hopes of having my new regular spot for services, but let's just say I don't wanna go back here. This is not my first spa experience, so I was a bit put off by the service through the day. I arrived and there's no clear signage on where to go, eventually someone told me to go check in upstairs, and a girl took me around to ask if I wanted a robe, since it was a full day thing I thought that was assumed. Anyway, after changing I was to put my belongings in a locker, but they were all missing keys, the girl was confused and told me to just put my stuff wherever, which was not a way to begin a relaxing day. Also, nobody I saw working up to that moment was wearing a mask, which just added to my anxiety. The massage therapist was first, and she was great (Sydney), and also wore a mask the whole time, she's the reason I gave 2 stars and not 1, I would see her again at a different location. Meanwhile, the person who did my facial could not bother to wear a mask and didn't even give me any feedback during my service. And the lady who did my pedicure didn't even want to talk to me and decided to chat with the next chair over instead. Oh, and after the massage I noticed they had brought keys for the lockers for new clients who came over but didn't say anything to me, so I took it upon myself to move my stuff to a locker with a key at that point. Management seemed nice and sent me home with a box of chocolates and a candle, but the services were not up to par, and the lack of masking was a complete turn off. So I'm still trying to find a spa in the area.
