I'm writing this review to express my deep dissatisfaction with the daycare, particularly with the two teachers in the Dolphin room for one-year-olds. My experience has been concerning and disappointing.
At a morning drop off I witnessed a child bleeding after hitting herself with a book, and the teachers simply rolled their eyes instead of comforting the child. Their behavior is unprofessional; they often yell at the children rather than providing a nurturing environment.
Additionally, the children don't go outside as frequently as they are supposed to. Two times a day is what the director told me when I started. The children have not been outside at all in 2 weeks. It is also disheartening to see them with snotty faces at pickup. I expect basic hygiene but the staff makes little to no effort to clean them up. It's unacceptable that when I pick up my child at 5 PM, they still have remnants of lunch on their face.
The food provided is another major issue. The daycare serves sugary breakfasts and snacks, with unhealthy lunches like powdered donuts, juice, tater tot casserole, and s'mores on a weekly basis. This is not what I want for my child's diet (1 year old).
While the director, Holli, seems sweet and approachable, I can't trust that my child is safe in the hands of her staff. I am actively looking for a new daycare that prioritizes the well-being and health of the children. I cannot recommend this place. read more
