I could not be happier with the service, advice, follow through than I could be without David. He really helped out financing my car (this is the 2nd one btw). He made the process very simple and to me went above & beyond when I was dealing w/ a not so consumer friendly dealership. A big shout out to him and the APR rate you provided!! read more

They charge a ton of fees including for "fraud prevention" but let the fraud charges go through then give you the run around and don't give you the money back on day 12 of trying to get my money refunded and they do NOT care. Hate how they are now they're worse than a big bank. Hope they go belly up. read more

Getting married this weekend I need to take out cash. After being told take off my hat take off my glasses and being treated horribly by Norma who after watching her check the mail etc etc for thirty almost minutes finally someone else helps me then I can only take out $500 because they're short on cash!! Aren't you a bank?? Where's my money?? 364 days a year my money just sits there deposits weekly. Now I need cash and I can't have it?? DON'T GET AN ACCOUNT HERE read more

BEWARE, I leased a 2021 Jeep for four years and made every single payment on time through my bank's auto pay system. My checks were mailed on the 15th of each month -- well within the grace period -- and I have proof of every payment. After returning the car at lease-end, I received a final bill with a $400 disposition fee (expected) and two surprise $25 late fees. The credit union claims they received my December 2024 and January 2025 payments late, but won't provide any proof -- just a blanket statement that "it's not their responsibility if the mail is delayed." Meanwhile, I have zero control over the USPS and no visibility into when they cashed the checks or whether the delay was on their end. I asked for a reasonable resolution or goodwill exception after four years of perfect history -- they refused. I paid the fee to protect my credit, but it left a bad taste. Be careful if you choose to lease through this company -- their customer service lacks flexibility and appreciation for loyal, responsible customers. I hope they read this and change their customer service attitude problem. For $50, they now have this stain on the internet. Not smart business read more

This is by far one of the worse credit unions on the planet. Website is horrible and customer service is worse.

At one point in time, this credit union cared about its members; sadly, that no longer applies. Customer Service went out the door.

My story is very long, but what I can tell you is I would not recommend them to anyone, and will never use them again. Read your fine print very carefully before you sign anything, and don't rush signing like I did; you will live to regret it. They told me I was getting a fixed mortgage with a fixed amount each month, (HLOC) and everything was fine for over two years, until they started to increase my payments. When I questioned them, they told me I had a flexible loan and their system's malfunction was the reason the payments had not changed for over two years. WOW go figure!!!. When I looked back at the pages and pages of documents, the page which should have been at the front, and the one you would look at closely before signing, was buried a few pages in the back. And before I even decided to take the loan, I asked about flexible mortgages, because I disliked it, and they assured me it was fixed. So, in my opinion, they lied and misled me into getting the loan. To say the least, I will be filing a complaint with the NCUA and CFPB; I just need to make time to do so, but believe me I will. And you should also if you have issues with them!!! read more

We Florida Financial used to be a great banking institution that tailored products and services to be competitive and stand out from the other banks. I've been a member over 30 years and it's evident that this bank has changed for the worse over the past few years. You will notice that their rates, from CDs to mortgages, are no longer as competitive as they once were, service has declined and they are more focused on applying standard commercial bank terms to their products rather than being flexible and an advocate for the customer. As an example, if you google the CD rates from Space Coast, Tropical Financial and a few other commonly known credit unions verses We Florida (as of today's date), you will see that most are offering almost a full .75-1% more on their CDs than We Florida currently offers. In the past, We Florida used to be just as competitive, if not better. If these other credit unions can offer those rates, We Florida can too if they cared about maximizing the benefits for its members. They moved to a smaller building in Margate, which has no drive thru, so now members have to drive all the way to Sunrise if you want to avoid the inconvenience of walking inside the branch, and they shortened their hours (drive thru used to stay open until 6 on some days). These are just a few reasons why I've become frustrated with We Florida. If things don't change for the better soon, I'll be looking for a new bank to manage my money and loans. Do better. read more

I am writing this messaged as a token of appreciation and positive feedback for the outstanding customer support I received from We Florida Financial and I must say that the ability and smartness of David Salcedo in helping me were appreciated and also exceeded my expectations. Do NOT recommend, poor SLOW service. Lots of confusion between tellers. Shared branch but couldn't withdraw, but they'll take my money. Spent almost 2 hours for nothing. Technology is outdated and tellers are slow. read more

On Saturdays they don't have enough help, drive thru is using teller from inside to service drive thru. Also, when withdrawing money they leave the drive thru window go back inside when they return they never ask you how you want your money broken down . The other lady that use to work the drive thru was amazing . I don't blame the new one it's not her fault they make her do both. They should have one teller for the drive thru especially on Saturday. Get with the program We Financial, my other credit union and yes I said other one does not operate like this. Also, in time you will have no drive thru at all when you move. You had already took away the safety deposit boxes. But that's ok , another credit union extremely close to your new location will have all that . I maybe leaving you all together , will see. But seems to me like your downgrading your services at your main branch . I've been with you since City County Credit Union. Also the other credit union makes qualifying for Premium membership easier. I suggest that you look at what you're doing or your long time members will leave. We got this as you say is no longer true. read more

What's going on with We Florida Financial is the most egregious situation my husband and I have ever experienced with a bank. We have been with this bank for about thirty years. Since before the name change from City County Credit Union. I think we're done this time. It's going to be a pain in the a** with all the automatic payments, including a 50K plus car loan. But I'm pretty sure we're out. And the fact that you people have the audacity to charge your customers overdraft fees when you know how jacked up your system is right now!!! You can't be reached over the phone, and you was closed when we tried to visit one of your branches, but you want people to give you account info over a text message. Who does that??? We don't know who's on the other end collecting that information. For all we know, you've been hacked and the hacker is on the other end of the text messages asking for very delicate and private information. Again, what kind of business does that in this day and age? It's especially egregious for a bank to do it. Bottom line, there's something very wrong going on that you're trying to hide. Something much deeper than the system update that you're trying to convince us of. Don't bother with the canned apology. Nobody cares. UPDATE: We just closed out our account. Good riddance! read more

I too wish I could leave a zero star rating. I've been a member since the late 80s with it was City County Credit Union and this used to be a prestigious place to do business with. Now it is just a mix of a straight up predatory banker who make a mistake triggering a cascade of obscene NSF fees and despite knowing the mistake was on their end, won't refund most of the fees. Too much ill gotten profit I suppose. This is not the only issue. I cannot express just terrible this company is, whether it is complete incompetence or uncontrolled greed, you decide. Their website and systems don't work. They cancel your current credit card with no warning and no way to reach a live human being. The online chat has no one behind it. If you leave a message, no one replies. If you call voice you get a message saying the wait is more than 60 minutes, meaning indefinite. If you leave a message I doubt you even get a call back at this point. I will be closing this account within the next 2-3 months for good and not looking back. After 35+ years of doing business with one entity, it's truly sad they have become not just the bottom of the barrel, but the floor below the bottom of the barrel. read more

I didn't know much about credit unions before I became a member here about a year and a half ago; it's one of the best decisions I've ever made. if I could give a minus I would. they are nearly impossible to contact. I held on hold for over an hour to find why I was being a service charge. oh...a maintenance charge. today I was locked out of my account and I was #46 in the queue. I gave up. I can't spend my day waiting for a business to get around to helping me. The AI looped me around for over 30 minutes to change my password, stating my information was incorrect. I've had them over 20 years, paid off a mortgage from them, have a savings and checking. they are a horror. I admit I told the agent they were incompetent and she was holding her temper. I'm sure it's hard on the employees as well. I will be exiting that bank in January, I don't believe they are going to improve. read more

I had a great experience here! I am new to the area and getting my self set up has been a lot of arduous work. I rarely leave reviews but I had such a pleasant experience I wanted to acknowledge Sami (Sammi)? S. She was sweet and helpful- which is rare for customer service these days. At the end of the conversation, I felt like everything was taken care of accurately- which is comforting when dealing with something important like my finances. You never know who you're going to get to assist you but Sami was so pleasant, I wanted to acknowledge the company as a whole. read more

Want to thank Samantha S and the team for getting my wife and I set up with our account. The communication was great!

So after all the poor customer service, the hours spent on the phone, online, or in person to get issues straightened out, after all the years as a loyal client, the hundreds of thousands I put through the credit card despite no rewards, WEFla could not waive a simple $6.00 fee for me. As a long time client, this was the last straw. Moving over to another credit union. The new CU(SC), I got there over an hour and half before closing. Due to issues, it took much longer to open several accounts. Guess what, they stayed open just for me!! They made me feel important as a customer!! They stayed about 1/2 an hour over and did not rush me at all and still asked if there was anything else when we were done. WEFlorida never showed me quality customer service such as this, even through all their mistakes. My business wasn't even worth 6 bucks to them. And folks, it's not the money, it is the principle! I'll be honest, my wife is bad at times paying her bills, and she always gets fees waived with other financial companies. Don't tell me it can't be done. The canned response after this review, lol. I have been emailing them for over two weeks!! I have the emails too. Full transparency, they said the (a) fee was reimbursed, however, not in any of my accounts(!), and I think the responder was confusing my account with some other because the responses did not really match to my replies??? They referred to a different fee?? I don't know. read more

Unprepared and inconvenient, two words to describe this CU. For how long were you guys preparing or unpreparing for this system update? Here we are Oct 24 2023 and you can't find a soul that knows whats going on or that can help me. I have multiple accounts with the CU by myself, joint with my wife and as a joint with my 2 kids. Somehow my two online profiles got converted to one and gues what my oldest online profile, the one with my wife as joint got deleted. Everything got scrambled together with the online profile that I'm by myself. One of the suffix that I use for budget, nowhere to be found in my online profile. Trying to reach someone over the phone it's impossible and now with Zoey the digital assistant that works more like the gatekeeper its even worse. Been a member for almost 10 years with car loans and mortgage, my whole family supporting the CU and not feeling like We Florida Financial care for the members. An unprepared and inconvenient Credit Union. Time to move my business some where else. read more

*REVIEW FOR CALL CENTER STAFF* While I have not been to this location in person I know that the customer service request calls come to this location when you dial the number on the back of any of the bank cards. I am a longtime City County Credit Union member (almost 15 years) even though the bank recently changed to We Florida Financial. I called at the beginning of the month to increase my credit limit on my Visa card, a card I have had for the 15 years I've been a member with the intention of transferring a balance from another credit card to the WFF Visa account. The staff seemed extremely helpful and accommodating and the process (again) seemed seamless. I was advised that day that my request was approved and that I could call back the following week to provide the bank/card information to transfer the balance to the WFF Visa which I did. When I spoke with a call center employee that time he (again) seemed very helpful and provided the reassurance that the transfer would be processed. After checking the other bank account a week later with the intention of closing the account I noticed the balance was still the same. Very confused, I then contacted the call center A THIRD TIME to inquire why the transfer had not yet been completed. The girl I spoke to (Hannah) had absolutely no idea what a balance transfer even was and was not helpful at all. She placed me on hold for almost 20 minutes without coming back to update me on the process or even apologize for the extremely long hold. When she finally did come back to the call she advised that her "manager" (Melissa) was attempting to contact someone somewhere and she would call me back by the end of the day at which time I provided Hannah with my phone number. I still have yet to receive a call back from Melissa, Hannah or anyone else. Today I had to physically visit the branch in Sunrise to clear up this mess only to find out from the branch manager that not only was the transfer never completed that the credit increase was never completed. Why wouldn't someone tell me this on the second and third time I called? Three separate phone calls, on three separate days, and no idea how much time I spent on three separate telephone conversations with obviously useless staff and NOTHING was completed. Again, I have been a member of this credit union for almost 15 years and I have never experienced such horrible service. I'm not sure if it's due to the change from CCCU to WFF but I hope someone with some kind of authority at the call center does something to hold these employees accountable because you now have an extremely dissatisfied and disappointed customer who has 6 other family members who belong to this credit union. read more

WORST CREDIT UNION IN BROWARD I belong to a different credit union. Both claim to have a reciprocal agreement for patrons. BALONEY! My credit unions is 40 miles away. "WE" is 3 miles away. I go in with a preprinted deposit slip that contains my account number. I am confronted by " Amarosa " who is agitated and brusque. I ask for the cashier manager ( a bald young male ) who previously did deposits for me. Apparently their "sister status" means nothing as there is a variation of your account number that they need. The nasty counter employee AMAROSA didn't know it. She insisted that I needed to know it. What? The counter supervisor didn't remember it. They insisted that it was my fault even though I gave them a bank printed deposit slip. 3 X I asked for counter supervisor from Amarosa. She claimed he was busy in his office. Finally she went to get him. Office? Busy? He was sitting 15 feet away at a desk that was behind her. There is a half wall behind the cashiers. Ok, I took back the $30 deposit check and mailed it to my bank instead. This place has no sense of propriety or urgency. The staff is surly and argumentative....Amarosa read more

Now I know why the ratings are so low...something I never considered before I walked into a branch. Don't ever get a loan or do business with this bank, especially if you don't enjoy wasting your hard-earned money. My mom, who had a mortgage with We Florida, has had the WORST experience after she violated the contract. I know what you are thinking, well, yeah, she violated the contract. Here is the thing. Many reputable big name branches have somewhat reasonable terms for contract violations; however, We Florida's terms, for those who might find themselves in certain situations, are absolutely heartless and unreasonable. My mom, who is a school teacher, was more than willing to pay what she owed; however, We Florida denied the modification on multiple occasions. They are a private bank, and thus, they make these die-hard loan terms that you don't know how bad the terms are until you are faced with those circumstances. Their rates are not even that good. I would strongly recommend not using ANY services from this bank, especially if you don't want to risk wasting your money through violation of the terms of their loans. My mom lost her house, and over the course of the process, she could have easily repaid what she owed to the bank through a loan modification, again, which on more than one occasion was denied. The bank works against itself to try and recover its losses. I want to help those who might consider doing business with this bank by providing my experiences and hopefully prevent the same thing happening to you. Read the loan terms carefully, because their terms may cost you more than you are willing to pay if you violate the terms. And when life happens, the last thing you want is to be hit twice. read more

Omg I hate this place. I can't wait to pay off my loan and run far away to another bank.

I wanted to commend the honesty and helpfulness of the staff, particularly Alex Dupre of the WeFly team, when I called recently inquiring about a flight training loan. Ultimately I did not qualify for financing due to Florida residency requirements, however this did not stop Alex from giving me invaluable advice. Despite him nor the credit union receiving any financial gain from it, I still received excellent customer service and a willingness to help. Unfortunately it's all too common to be mislead in a situation like this, but thankfully due to the ethics of this team, I was lead to another financial institution (no affiliation with We Florida) that was the best match for me, along with the lowest interest rate I could've possibly gotten. Would not have been possible without Alex and the team. Thank you! read more
