He said that he could come between ten and twelve, and arrived at 11:05. He made a point to be cautious of the parking regulations in my neighborhood. Once he finally got started, it took him about an hour to do both pieces. He was very polite, personable, and informative. I appreciate that he left the spare parts easily accessible on top of the unit, and the boxes standing neatly in the corner. He didn't leave any trash around, and the boxes will be able to be used again as needed. I would recommend him to anyone who doesn't mind having a very talkative handyman. I definitely plan to use his services again in the future.

Per Select, I had to purchase both the original cartridge ($230) and the new valve and shower trim ($300). Changing the valve involved busting a hole in the tile (which I am required to repair). While changing the valve out he dropped it into the wall and it rolled under the tub. He then stated that he needed to bust out that tile as well to get the part he dropped. I said no and he responded that he would have to leave and he would be back when he had time in a week or so (knowing that this was our one shower!). I suggested that he use the tub access panel and I got a broom and pushed the part to where he could get it.

If the job was too small to be worth his time I'd totally understand, but if that was the case I wish he would have just said so.
