‼ ‼ ‼ ‼ ‼‼‼‼‼‼ This…read moreshop violates the Pennsylvania General Assembly: 1937 Act 5 section 12. In almost every way. This is my first review ever.... and now I understand why people do this. Formans is shady looking take as much form you as they can possibly get legal or illegal. It's one thing to make profit....it's another to look to rip people off ‼ A few months back I took a loan out at this place on an item of both monetary and sentimental value. Fast forward to the 17th of March I paid 500 for my March payment (last payment made on 2/13)...meaning I only owed 185 or so in interest the rest is automatically supposed to go to the principal right⁉ Nope not at this place‼ This guy says since I paid on the 13th of Feb, and the 17th in March that 4 days automatically put me on the hook to pay interest for the entire month of April which hasn't even arrived. He says that in the state of PA 1 day over equates to the entire months interest when it comes to pawn broker loans. He acutely took 2 months interest and tried to justify it by saying it's how it's always been. Really? Sounds like your customers have been getting taken advantage of for years then‼ (ThIs is % against the law) What's even more f'ed up is in January I paid on the 16th (remember last month in Feb I paid on the 13th) So I paid a few days early right ⁉ Nope not at this place‼ According to him it doesn't matter when you pay you got 30days. Go past by 1 day you accrue the entire next months interest, pay a little early... so what. he starts your loan over that day. Don't matter if you pay 5 days before or 5 days after this guy is pushing you into the next months interest before it even gets here. This way you never pay off the loan because you're never paying on the principal. Not sure how they've been getting away with it long. (ILLEGAL Read the law‼ and do the math) Copy/Paste to your browser https://www.legis.state.pa.us/cfdocs/legis/LI/uconsCheck.cfm?txtType=HTM&yr=1937&sessInd=0&smthLwInd=0&act=51&chpt=0&sctn=12&subsctn=0 Trusting this place for me was a huge mistake. I wouldn't recommend anyone bring anything of real value to this place for loans purposes. This guy doesn't understand how the law works regarding pawn broker loans. It seems as if he's doing everything possible to keep my property. He's manipulating the system every month to get over while pretending not to understand math, or how his computer works. (huge con) They refuse to give you a proper receipt detailing what you paid and how your funds are to be distributed...ie principal/interest. (Also illegal‼) Anyone else been scammed by them don't hesitate to reach out to the email below. Id like to see if others are experiencing any of the same issues with this guy and how you feel about your transactions after copy/pasting/reading the attached PA law paragraphs. Were you treated lawfully ⁉ Every time I go in there to pay he comes up with a new way to try to take extra money in interest. I seriously doubt I'm the only one. zos9805@gmail.com PS. If the owner replies to this with lies l will personally paste the attached law and highlight the applicable text. https://www.legis.state.pa.us/cfdocs/legis/LI/uconsCheck.cfm?txtType=HTM&yr=1937&sessInd=0&smthLwInd=0&act=51&chpt=0&sctn=12&subsctn=0 If you are unfortunate enough to do business at this establishment please copy/ paste the above https to your browser and read for yourself. Are they following the law? Did they in your case⁉ Or are they just taking advantage of folks that don't know

Fantastic Genre Specific Store -…read more We need more CD stores like this. It focuses very specifically on the gothic, industrial, EBM, synthpop, and darkwave genres. If you're interested in any of these, do yourself a favor and pop in here for a visit. There's a large "metal" section as well, but I know nothing about metal and will therefore ignore it in my comments. Generally speaking, the CDs you find here are releases you wouldn't expect to find in other brick and morter stores. For example, there might be 10 different Death In June CDs, 15 different Leaether Strip CDs, 20 different Depeche Mode CDs, etc. With the exception of bands that have "crossed over", there is almost no pop music to be found here. Each band has a "header card" so you can easily find what you're looking for. As these genres tend to rely heavily on imported products, this is one of the few CD stores where you'll typically pay LESS than you would with Amazon - great as Amazon might be, they're extremely expensive with import CDs. There's also a used section that has a fast enough turnover that I find a few items each visit. There's a decent amount of other "stuff" (books, collectibles, t-shirts, a modest amount of vinyl etc) that's consistent with the CD genres. I've been coming here for around 20 years (ne: Digital Underground) and still get excited every time I walk in the front door. Highly recommended.

I stopped in for their…read moreFourth Friday art gala which featured the art of Larry West (quite possibly the only person with a mohawk to ever run for mayor), and as I walked in I instantly realized how much better the new location suits them. Space was a serious issue for their old location because it seriously felt like the aisles where sandwiching you in after awhile, and they rarely had enough room to show off their clothing, books, and other items. But the new location is at least twice the size and gives them the much needed space to sell the other items. and as Fourth Friday revealed it gave them the chance to do a lot more like showcase art and bands. if your not into goth/industrial music (I'm recovering from it myself) then you're probably not going to be down with a good 75% of the merchandise. But they are well stocked with plenty of obscure 80's music (Remember "Rock Me Amadeus" by Falco? Apparently he has has 8-10 albums. who knew?). And they have plenty of music by the likes of Bjork, Patti Smith, and Ladytron to go through. And it's a great spot to go for random gifts like Star Trek Vinyl and Cthulu dolls. So while it might not be for everybody, Digital Ferret does have enough to make it great.
