We didn't have an opportunity to stay too long so I'll be back to take a more in depth look in the near future. The staff are very helpful and super knowledgeable so come with questions and leave with answers. They also have a display with several trains set up with buttons for people to try to see what lights up or makes sound. The trains were not moving while we were there and they were kind of busy in the lead up to Christmas so we didn't ask to have them running, but I'm sure they would have turned them on if we had asked.

I got excited to go in and shop, but the way the employees treated me, I wouldn't spend a penny. There was one guy outside wearing a store t-shirt so I started chatting with him since I was about to go in HIS STORE, and he literally just stared at me like I was from Mars. Didn't even reply to my speaking. So I went in to browse and there were several other employees in the back area who clearly saw me but couldn't be bothered to greet me, welcome me into the store, ask if they could help me out in any way. Turned around and left without buying anything, because let's be real: everything in that store is available online and cheaper. The only reason to buy at those prices is to support local, but if local can't treat you with a shred of dignity, why would you?

He sat on the floor for a little bit silently, and when everyone started looking at him, he started screaming and grabbing his foot, oddly making a weird noises of grumbling and screaming, then the Hobby lobby employee proceeded to tell my friend's mother to go get a wheelchair for the poor man then she asked him if he's OK and he says it's these dam crocs then he proceeds to get up and walk away and disappeared although 10 out of 10.

There are several aisles of model train accessories, scenery, train sets and tracks of several different scale types. The prices seemed in line/a tad higher than most places I've shopped. They had an area with Thomas trains and a small end cap with a Thomas wooden train set kept my youngest occupied while we checked out the rest of their offering. They had a couple aisles of models - ships, military planes, cars etc., rocket sets, RC cars, supplies like paint and tools and some games like Warhammer which I'm not familiar with at all. I enjoyed stepping back in time while I walked around and love it that small operations like this are still around. We bought some Thomas items that were fairly priced and are happy with them. A man who I have deduced was the owner was in the shop, and as soon as I walked in he glared at me as if I was carrying some kind of weaponry. I live over an hour away with turnpike tolls to boot. I took 2 engines in that didn't run…read more They called over 2 months later and told me they were done. When I got there they told me one motor was dead and couldn't be fixed and charged me $60+ tax for the other (2 body screws and one contact). I went and to put it on the track and when I took it out of the box the coupler fell off. Tried putting it back on and the screw was to short and the body needed to be filed down so that the coupler box would fit next to the body and the coupler would meet up to the height of couplers on other cars.. A short time later; I was able to put it on the track. This is my favorite car and can pull 15 feet of cars up a grade. Turned on the transformer and the train wouldn't move. Gave it a small push in case the wheels or track was dirty. Went back and turned transformer on again and turned up the throttle. Didn't move. Did all of this 3 times. On the 4th try I turned up the throttle high and shorted it out (blew fuse) on transformer. I called and they said to bring it back. Doug the manager was not in. I gave them my number and asked to have him call. It's been more than 2 days and still no call.

The guy was super knowledgeable, friendly, reasonable on pricing and had the patience of a Saint! The entire staff was genuinely friendly and helpful. The place was steady busy the entire two hours we were there. The aisles were packed full of rolling stock and glass cases displayed new/used locomotives for most gauges. Train sets priced from around $120 up to over $400. It was so much fun walking up and down each aisle with my four year old and hearing him talk about every item. Tracks, scenery, models, couplers, tools, styrene sheets, smoke, oil, glue, magazines, paint, and brands like Thomas & Friends, Atlas, Rapido, Lionel, Bowser, Walthers, Athearn, Bachmann.
