She obviously couldn't deny selling it to someone else, but I was happy to pick it up. Also their stone carvings and statues are masterpiece's. But they are nothing compared to the staff. I hope they keep up running for years to come. I've even tried to volunteer there, but they have unfortunately turned me down. I'll definitely keep trying though. They write handwritten paychecks (which you will receive late- if at all!), with no check stubs. They short paychecks and lie to the government about what they have paid while demanding the employees prove their hours worked. Well, they can't. Because they DON'T WRITE PAYROLL CHECKS. There are no clock in-clock out slips printing from the computer, and there is no way to prove the actual hours worked. Of course, this matters not, because they won't pay you based on hours worked. OH NO. They go off the schedule. This was admitted out loud multiple times. THIS IS ILLEGAL. Following an investigation by the Wage Department of MO, we discovered they did not cooperate, and now the only recourse is to take legal action. This isn't libel. This is fact. It is really sad when business owners exploit the loopholes in the law in order to screw over someone who worked hard and cared deeply about their job and the store.
