We had never heard of bread fruit before, so we had to try the Breadfruit Salt Fish and the flavors were so fresh! Then we had the Island Nachos. Who would have thought that plantains make an excellent alternative to chips. I will definitely attempt to make these healthier option when I get home! For drinks I had the passion fruit mojito and it was delicious. After lunch we were given a tour of the distillery, and more importantly, the story of how they make vodka out of breadfruit and using rainwater and is flavored with natural fruit and fruit rinds. This company was started with crowd funding and they are growing nicely! The vodka is so different from what we've ever had. It is very smooth and the flavored ones are unique. This is a must visit while in the island!

Both days, the bartenders were lively and provided great suggestions and tasting offerings to me and my friend. The space is very small (it is inside the base of an old windmill), but they can squeeze in a crowd of 8 or so. We had the painkiller with hibiscus vodka both times and were not disappointed. The happy hour price of $5 is a steal. The drink is sweet and refreshing and has a little shake of cinnamon on top. Definitely recommend stopping in for some shots or a cocktail to go!

We got here on Sunday night and for about half and hour we were the only customers. The Sangria selection is simply overwhelming, there are about 80 Sangrías to choose from. They also have a selection of tapas, which you can "mix and match" through their sampler menu. We ordered the Sangria sampler which contained six different Sangrías (3oz each) for $18 and the mini food sampler (3 types) for $15. The sangria flavours that we ordered were: grape, passionfruit, coconut, guava, coffee and tamarind. As for the food, we ordered the Queso Frito, Guayaba Empanadillas and Chicken Alcapurrias. Each of the food items came in servings of five. I really appreciate the waitress's effort to explain the menu, as well as the food items to us. It wasn't necessary, as we would've figured out a way out but she was attentive and informative. I must say that upon arriving here, I expected some homemade sangria. Surely I didn't expect all 80 flavours to be made in-house, but I wasn't ready for the realization that all 80 flavours came from store-bought and sourced bottles. When we got the sampler, I was surprised by how overwhelmingly sweet the Sangrías were and the lack of fresh fruit flavour. The food was pretty good, I especially loved the saltiness of the queso frito. My suggestion for the owners is to start selling house-made sangria as nothing will ever beat the fresh-made taste. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the variety of flavours, as well as the service.

Hand down the best place to eat in the area. It's very small, but packs a punch with great customer service, cool drinks and outstanding food. Best to try and get in on their off hours to get a table without a wait. We literally ate here 4 times when we were on the island. An absolute MUST to order is their Bacon Jalapeno tater kegs! OMG-They're the bomb! Wings are decent and the burgers are juicy, flavorful and delicious! You really can't go wrong with ANYTHING on the menu. Everything is made fresh to order. The decor is island themed chaos in every fun way possible. If you happen to have to use the restroom it's located outside (customs ONLY) The key ring they'll hand you is a toilet lid! LOL You can ring in another way too! On your trip to the john, call in sick to work and stay on the island! You're enticed too by the retro phone sitting a top a keg outdoors as well. Great photo opts! Happy Hour is daily! The Love Shack offers particular deals with half-priced cocktails. We did Margs on Monday! Signature drinks include the 50oz Volcano Drink, Shark Attack, and souvenir cocktails like the Pirates Booty in a ceramic mugs. FYI- They may attach a certain creature to your glass also. Perfect vibe, casual dinning and great accommodations by the staff (for our big party) who were so friendly and professional. This is a must experience spot when visiting St Thomas.

Duffy's provides free parking which is a rarity and right at noon, the mall lot had tons of open spots. We both ordered burgers, one with the standard fries and one with onion rings. It took a good half hour for the food to be delivered but when we got it, it was hot and cooked to our specs. Fries were crispy. Burger was thick with a nice crisp, almost tasted like a smash burger but thicker. Service was good. It was the one spot where we didn't have to pay for a refill of soda. They were playing the best music! No waitlist or host so you have to linger and wait for someone to leave if you need a table and they are full. Great stop.

We learned exactly how the rum is made, everything from the barrel origins and their whiskey distillery partnerships to the local fungi that grows around the aging facilities. It was also cool to find out they ship and bottle in Florida, and even generate their own electricity on-site. The tasting was the best part. It's wild how subtle additions like a coconut ice cube or a few coffee beans completely change the flavor profile of the rum. Great people, great drinks, and an awesome gift shop. We had perfect weather for it, too. I will definitely do this again.

We stopped on our way between the beach at Quebradillas and the airport, and were glad we did. The tour has changed in 16 years but the welcome was still warm and embracing. Everyone from the guard at the front gate to random workers were super helpful. We started in a pavilion waiting for outr tour to start. The cost of the tour gives you a token to a drink at the bar -- made with Bacardí of course. We decided to wait till after the tour for the drink. The tour was interesting. First a ride on a tram around the campus with Gabriela providing explanations, then we toured a museum which started with a short video followed by a walk through rooms with artifacts from the history of Bacaradí. The high point is an exact replica of the bar at the abandoned and collapsing Casa Bacardí in Havana. The tour by ended in the adjacent gift shop where you can buy Bacardí merch and special editions of rum. Then a walk back to the pavilion where my wife had a piña colada and I had daquirí. Lots of fun. If you have time, the Bacardí tour is well worth the time and the price of admission.

We were able to interact with various people along the tour. The tour was made interesting by our guide, Desha. At the end of the tour, we returned to the visitor center where we were able to sample 4 rums each and get 2 cocktails. Between us we tried 8 different rums. Both of us had the Cruzan Confusion which was the cocktail of the day. It was excellent and even better than the one that we had at Rum Runners. I talked to different employees to get a recipe to no avail. Everyone had a different recipe for making it. My second drink was made with their discontinued Guava Rum. It was disappointing to hear that Cruzan discontinued the Guava Rum since Guava is my favorite fruit. The Guava Rum was my primary reason for taking the tour because I assumed that I would be able to purchase some to take home. My partner had a Blue Velvet cocktail for the second cocktail. There is a very nice sitting area with several chairs and tables where guests can relax and enjoy their cocktails. One note of warning is that you should take all of your pictures while on the tour. Once the tour is over you will not be allowed to take any photographs even of outdoor buildings.
