I actually called two other companies before him but they couldn't get out until the next day or three days later. I feel that his price was pretty fair and he got it done quickly as well. He was the only electrician to offer me his price over the phone for what I needed done. I really appreciate the transparency and didn't feel like he was trying to gouge me. He was very professional and courteous. If my parents have any electrical issues in the future, I will call David for them again.

After reaching out to quite a few electric companies, I decided to move forward with Mr. Cluney. Let me first say that they were the ONLY electric company who came out and gave a free estimate, which meant a lot to me. Second, what they quoted me was exactly what I paid despite them seemingly running into a few issues with my older home. They did an amazing job and cleaned up the entire space themselves as well. I could not have picked a better company to use for my main bathroom and I will not use anyone else!

I would not recommend this company. I was a maintenance plan member for quite some time, and their…read moretechnicians did not do a thorough job inspecting my AC unit during those visits. A few months later the compressor blew, and I ended up having to replace the entire unit through a different company. On top of that, I cancelled my membership two to three weeks before my billing cycle and was still charged. When I called, I was told a credit had been issued. It never showed up on my card. Paying for regular maintenance is supposed to prevent exactly this kind of failure. I got neither the service nor the refund I was promised.

I called them because my power was out in my lower part of the home where I live. I am 9 months pregnant and expecting a baby any day now as a single mother and I also have a 4 year old. We had an appointment to meet at 330 pm today. They did not show up and I received no phone call. I got off of work early just to meet them. When I called them at 3:51pm, I was given an excuse that it was because of the rain and no apology for not being given a heads up. Then I was told that I had to meet them between 8 am and 3 pm in the future. I explained to them that I cannot do that because of my job and that I can't take off of work to meet them and that I am due anyday now and so this is very important. At this point, they said find someone else and hung up on me. When I called back I received no answer. I don't know about you but I have been seeing a pattern in the lack of professionalism of several contractors in this area. They installed wired Ring cameras, floodlights, and a doorbell. They were punctual, professional, and clearly skilled and experienced. They even found damage in my attic that they showed to me. Mr. Electric also installed a whole home surge arrestor at a very reasonable price, giving me the comfort and confidence that my electrical system and appliances are safeguarded. They came for the quote one day, and had it all installed the next. Mr. Electric receives my highest recommendation in the Upstate.

Service was terrible!! Rep came to my house on 11-15, for a power issue in the master bedroom. The…read morerep checked the breaker box, and the load on the line going to the room. He said the load is correct everything looks good, and was told the breaker was bad! The rep then said he was switching the circuit to another circuit, and doing it that way wouldn't cause any issues and wouldn't trip again. The rep said the breaker would need to be changed, and that he didn't have any on the truck. He left, and the breaker tripped the same night. Went to the breaker box, and the same breaker tripped. Reschedule another visit for 11-17, and the same rep. He says it tripped again and I said yes! He then ask to come in the house to check the room! He check one outlet, and says this wouldn't pass code! Then goes and check 3 outlet in the room, and there are a total of 6. He then tells me Choice Home warranty would be getting back to me, because the electrical line coming from the breaker box going to the room is bad, yet 2 days earlier it was fine! I then ask the so-called 10 year pro, how did he come to the conclusion it was the wire coming from the breaker box? I get the dumbest unprofessional response, that he know because he had been doing electrical work for 10 years!! Yes, that may be the case, but I was a technician for 8, and troubleshooting different equipment for 12, and would never have that suspect explanation to explain MY troubleshooting steps! I then tells him that was an unprofessional response, and instead of him backing off he tells me that was a professional response! I then tells him to leave, he then mouths off like a kid, and not a professional! I then tells him if he doesn't leave quick he would have some problems!! He then says you think you big and bad?!! He then goes to his van, and say what you going to do then?! A couple hours later he send a text to my wife saying he hopes the issue gets fixed!! What a joke!! Very unprofessional, and suspect diagnosis!! He second visit was free so I believe he wanted to make some bull up to tell Choice Home warranty. Also, he was complaining about how Choice Home warranty pays him!
