Nancy Kerrigan and Tonya Harding popped back into my mind as I thought about the craziness that followed. I remember reading up on these two women and my teacher suggested I write a report on them for one of my big homework projects. It was very easy for me. Personally I think my teacher just wanted to read what I would write. I was snapped out my thoughts when I heard Corinna Delgado laugh. It was a pleasant laugh. I quickly looked up the number, but wasn't expecting to get through. Boy was I wrong. I felt like a complete idiot because at the time, I did not know Corinna Delgado's name. I could hear the three second delay and my mind could not get use to that. Evidently this is something people in radio are use to. Corinna Delgado cleaned up the talk we had, but she also recorded, my version of Nancy screaming "Why Me? Why Anyone Why?" Even today, I don't think Nancy Kerrigan would see humor in her tragic event... still Second place is the first to lose, but if you ask yourself, this question, who really lost... Enough of that...I answer Corinna Delgado Timeline Question and got it right. I have listen to so many people call in over the phone for money, prizes or just to talk. I never expected to be on the radio myself, but I was. The only draw back is that I did not hear myself on the radio, because I was on the phone waiting for Corinna Delgado to come back on the phone. Today I now hold a bottle opener that says 9.47 The Drive, the Movie 1917 movie on blue ray and dvd and a 9.47 The Drive Pen. Very cool. I will admit at first I thought the package was sent to the wrong, but then realized this is the gift I won. I enjoy listening to the oldies music of the 80' and 90's. I will be listening even more now. I look forward to trying again to win something or make a request for song. Keep up the good work Corinna Delgado.

The building is on Half street and easy to miss. Driving past the entrance is safer than being dropped off in front of the building. There is limited street parking. The lobby guard is nice. The station is on the second floor.

In April 2009 they became 94.7 "Fresh FM" and then in 2018, they switched again. This time, 94.8 "The Drive" with a focus on rock, pop, and R&B hits from the 1980s, while also extending into the 1970s and 1990s. It is still WIAD. We caught them after a few taps of the seek button this afternoon as we were driving through the Virginia suburbs towards Dulles.
