I told them I would do it myself, and reinstalled the original thermostat, which worked fine. 2 months later (in December) the furnace stopped. I called them, they said they would try to get here that day. We waited all day with no response. They came the day after and said they needed to order a part, but could not tell us when it would arrive. Into the weekend, after 2 full days without heat, they said to get heat on the weekend would cost $1200, or $700 if we waited until Monday or Tuesday. We chucked them and called another company. That company said this was a common problem and should have been caught in the inspection. They could come on the weekend to do it for $1000, or do it on Monday for $500. I shouldn't have called back after the thermostat issue, but I sure won't call again, and recommend anyone else also look elsewhere

At our second call, the issue was not resolved (by Chris himself), and he had to send an employee out again the next day. Would not have been a big deal but on our third try with Belli, they refused to go out and get the needed part. That's standard for a plumber. But suddenly they had a new policy that they would not make any purchases because supposedly another client was unhappy with a prior purchase. They refused to listen when I told them I didn't care what they purchased, and Chris never bothered to respond to my email. Needless to say, we immediately hired another plumber who came right out (after purchasing the part) and did a great job, and this was our last attempt to work with Belli.

There was an issue with one of our services. We needed a new water heater. They put me on the schedule as early as they could and even called me a day earlier than scheduled to get me in. Unfortunately there was an issue with the tank after the install. Not anything they did wrong just a faulty piece. They busted their butts to make sure they got the part they needed from the manufacturers faster than they offered and came back right away to make it work. No delaying saying they had to wait. Later on Thursday, I was updated that a tech (aka 'Ron R. - Service Manager) was in the locale. He gave me an evaluation in short time and worked to provide as best a price as possible. Installation was then set for the following morning. Ron arrived as scheduled and had the installation completed in approximately 1.5 hours. Excellent job. Communication was top-notch throughout via emails, texts and calls. I have worked with Shahood for several years and HIGHLY recommend them for their dependability, efficiency, quality of work and pricing. Called them twice (yes, to their credit they will send someone out quickly) after our longstanding plumber retired. Both times the different service tech gave the same recommendation. "You need a new boiler and we can have it installed within the week. 10-15K." First problem was actually a failed pressure relief valve (much less than 15K). Second problem was just a leaking gasket (MUCH MUCH less than 15K).
