I attended Aaron's workshop on 3/18 at Rancho Del Oso park. It is the first time photography…read moreworkshop/class that I have taken, and Aaron's teaching and guidance taught me much and made it a great experience. We began the day with Aaron's presentation on photography techniques and tips, then walked on a small local trail near the Natural Resource Center. Afterwards we shot at different beaches nearby until sunset, and finally returned to the Center for a Lightroom tutorial. It was nicely timed and organized: we have enough time to spend on each spot for free form photography practice, nothing too rushed. Aaron answered the many technical questions we have along the way with patience and clarity, and often offer his photos at the same object for reference. I found it very helpful and inspirational to compare my composition with his, because many times professional photographer would just find particular angles that I wouldn't think of.
