This park has baseball fields and soccer fields, as well as tennis courts/basketball courts and a small jungle gym. My favorite part of this park though is the walking/running paths all throughout this park. It's such a nice area to walk, run or even bike through and if you need to stop to use the bathroom or need a drink there are drinking fountains throughout the park and porter potties as well as a pavilion with bathrooms (these are not always open though). Overall just a fantastic place to enjoy nature.

Ken (coach) was able to quickly identify my level of play, my strengths and several weaknesses that were impacting my game. If I am able to focus on the drills and make improvement's in the areas we worked on, it's certainly going to have a positive impact on my game. My plan is to get additional lessons before heading to Mesa AZ for league play in the East Valley Senior Tennis Association. It's actually fun to get Quality coaching.

The Tuesday morning classes are at the golf club in North Oaks, very convenient for me, and the East Rec Bldg is a great space with natural light on Wednesday evenings. The instructor is very supportive and takes a hands-on approach, wich I find very helpful for achieving the right poses and technique. Breathing is hard to master, but once you get it, it makes a big difference, and this instructor was especially helpful in taking me to that next level. Five stars!

There is a small lake you can walk over if water is your thing and lots of birds and deer.
