Yummy! Although it's now batter up, it was really good and the staff were great. I had the Nutella w/ strawberries and whipped cream.

This waffle spot was one of the highlights of my trip visiting a friend in PA! She visited within the last month and had the most delicious looking waffle ice cream sandwich that she brought me to this marketplace, and I'm happy she did. I visited on a Saturday afternoon and asked the owner for waffles that were funfetti-like, and she recommended me two. I chose to go with the waffle that is prepared with fruity pebbles in the mix and asked for a nutella drizzle. Since we touched on unicorns, she served the cutest napkin with a unicorn on it in my to go box! It was a kind gesture and despite my intentions to save the waffle for later on in the day, I ate a half of it in the car soon after leaving. I also got myself the "life-changing banana pudding" and I've got to say it lives up to it's name. In my opinion it's better than a well known Nyc-bakery's, you just can't beat homemade! I had bought a coupon on Local Flavor for this place, and we have a new Harley...so it made sense to drive up to Morningstar Market for breakfast. This little shop is located in one of the buildings of the market. The owner is unbelievably nice, and she told us the story of how she used to be a pop-up, but health issues have forced her to become stationary. She uses the coupons to basically advertise where she is. It is small with only one table, which is why it's only 4 stars. Her price point is excellent, at about $5 a waffle. I started with the loaded potato waffle, which is a beautifully savory waffle made from a potato mixture and topped with cheddar, bacon, and sour cream. I also ordered the "hybrid" which is half waffle, half (per the owner) "crispy, buttery toast." Now let me just tell you something...if you describe anything to me as "crispy buttery," I'm ordering it. Period. The icing on the cake was that the waffle batter that I choose was banana cake mix. Yeah I know. Let that sink in. Banana. Cake. Mix. And crispy, buttery toast. If that doesn't sound good enough for you, picture it stuffed with peanut butter and chocolate. They have many savory options as well that I'll try another time since I just went ahead and bought another coupon. Just go. We gotta keep this lady and her crispy buttery-ness in business, and moving to a bigger spot!!!! read more

Saw the ratings and decided to swing by for a look. Very friendly owner and pleasant setting. Great waffles and unique food combos to make for a yummy and exciting tasting experience. Upon recommendation of several guests there, we decided to give "The Gamer" a try - a bacon, Doritos, and cheese waffle sandwich! Sounded just strange enough to warrant a try. Taste was very good and the waffle was done to perfection; the sandwich was light and went down super quickly. Could use maybe slightly more substance, but very tasty otherwise. Visited on several occasions to give a fair review. Originally there wasn't much seating but that has improved and now there is adequate seating. The waffles are good with many choices and even homemade syrup. The owner is friendly and is constantly improving everything from the seating, to the syrup, to the selections. We recommend giving them a try. read more

Ok... so first off, I've seen these guys at multiple local events and festivals, which is AWESOME! Every time I find them, I have to try one of their new creations coming out. My all time favorite is the Mexitater, and they have recently introduced this Shepherd's Pie number that is butting heads with the mexitater. Their food is great if you want a perfectly filling meal, or sharing (if you can, I don't like to) so you can go back for desert. Speaking of which, the Ginger Bread Sugar cookie Bubble waffles are my favorite sweet treat. It tastes like Grandma's Christmas desert table in your mouth. Festival food is usually the same - boring, greasy, unsatisfying, and over priced. Wayward Waffle turns all that on its head. This food is filling, delicious, and affordable. Everything is made from scratch, and these folks know what they are doing in the kitchen. I can't decide which is my favorite - The Waffle Q (Potato waffle with smoked pulled pork and homemade barbeque sauce) or the Shepherd's Pie Waffle (Potato waffle with shepherd's pie filling). For less than $10 it's almost too much for me to eat by myself and it's amazingly delicious. read more

These guys straight up reinvent the waffle. I had the Mexi-tater, which is shredded chicken marinated in taco seasoning on top of a waffle made from mashed potatoes instead of batter. Then the whole thing is topped with cheese and sour cream! So freaking good! read more
