I appreciate the many resources they offer and all of the work that's being done locally as well as oversees. Pastor Duane is an outstanding pastor who preaches God's word in such a clear manner that you can really grow as a Christian. Both my children also participate in children's ministry services and they have really enjoyed their time. We truly have felt welcomed each visit. You can also join the church via online services and classes! It's such a great opportunity to learn and stay connected to a church even from a distance. If it's your first time visiting it can feel a little overwhelming but their are so many great people who can help you and even get you to the front door by way of golf cart pick up! And of course there is a connections area where you can come and get connected with leaders of the church.

They believe in having a heart for the Kingdom of God. The worship of God is full of life. This is a very friendly, diverse church. They believe that the Bible gives people hope, purpose and instruction for everyday life. At one time, I thought this church was too big. Now, I know that the ushers and greeters are going to be there every week. I see them and get to know their names. I get prayer for any needs I have at this church. This exit has been closed for many many years to prevent this very thing. This resulted in many residents having difficulty entering and exiting their driveways. The neighborly approach would have been to request agreement from the neighborhood prior to the event. Not very Christlike in my opinion.

It was our first experience in a large church, and were somewhat taken aback that we had no personal contact with the Senior Pastoral staff, but after understanding the demands on them, it was easy to comprehend why that was not feasible. In years since, we have had opportunity to meet several, including the Lead Pastor, in one-on-one situations, and ALL were very gracious , and even more so upon learning of our attendance in their church. This is not really a church. It's a religious outreach center. the man (who started it, likes to be…read morecalled pastor George) has very little religious training, one class in counseling (which I understand he does poorly.) open Monday through Friday. open in the morning, Bible study, you can get in to do laundry, take a shower and then lunch is served. in the afternoon, the girls tend to do puzzles. guys play cards and the majority of the drunks leave after lunch. lots of people hang outside year round. I found this place to be extremely prejudicial not in the sense of racial but just in first impressions. everybody meddles in everybody else's business and people tell stories, which are not true, about others. in another words, gossip city. There is a small food bank but you have to get a paper from Westside Food Bank. they also have plenty of clothes in the basement. you're not allowed to go down there, someone will bring you what THEY think you need. they also have sheets and pillowcases, comforters(rarely) and towels. But most of the towels go upstairs in the filing drawer so people can use them to take showers. (and steal them). there is rarely coffee cups, (stolen) sometimes sugar is non-existent and creamer is often absent. they can run out of coffee or they decide they don't want to make coffee and you can't have any. on wednesdays they have what they call weenie wednesdays. go to the house outback, stand in line and get hotdog fixed the way you like. if there's a lot of people you won't get a second dog. get in line early to get a second dog. Its served with potato chips and a cookie and there's usually lemonade to drink. This is only when the weather is warm, if it rains, they do the hot dogs inside. Once a month several churches will serve dinner outside, in the evening, in the summer. showers are free but laundry $1wash $1 dry, soap for two loads is a $1. Obviously I don't have a lot of good things to say about this place. I have had some extremely bad experiences. people have stolen from, me taken my clothes, accused me of stealing a dictionary. One time the guy running the place told me to drop my freshly laundered wet clothing, on the FLOOR, so he could see if I was stealing anything and the Minister has not liked me from day one and stop me from dating someone (although later I learned that was a good idea) he is not helpful, ignores what you say. he's only done it for his own self interest and really doesn't choose the best people to run the place. He has his pet people and it can fluctuate from day to day. they sometimes have classes in the evening art & crafting. I used to go there cuz I was homeless, needed food, take a shower and do laundry.

I don't know who "Sabrina" is, but her review is a slanderous lie and may be meant to distract from who the people are who attend here. It may be a fake review.
