My parents,took our Family to CWC,Quite regularly.all 8 of of their children.I participated in the LIVING END CHOIR.We moved to California for the Summer,then my Father decided to move back.I don't remember the name of the Church out there.That my Father started taking us to.Then years later we moved to Jacksonville,FL.Then after 3 Years we moved back to Holland,MI.We went to Murray Hill United Methodist Church.I was in the youth Choir there also.Both of my Parents were always in the Adult Choir.All through the Years. Don't. DOWN play CWC,it's a great church to bring your children up in.And to make,new friends & bump into Older friends. So,don't be prejudiced against them. If you're wanting a church where you'll be welcomed with open arms this a great place to check out. The pastor preaches what the Bible teaches and not necessarily what he thinks his congregation or visitors might like to hear. Political correctness is not in the man's vocabulary and for the most part I think that's a very good thing since a pastors job is to preach what he feels God wants him to preach and not what others may want to hear. I'll continue to visit other churches to make sure I find the best fit for my spiritual needs, but I'll have to wait and see whether I end up attending here or someplace else. Another thing I really liked is this church not only has Sunday morning and evening services, but they also have Wednesday evening services. I'm sure that small group settings like so many churches are going to have benefits, but for me I would much prefer the 3 church services per week. Stop in and visit here. Who knows you may find yourself becoming a regular attendee.

We thought that we would try a few different churches, but we liked the "Bridge" service at Beechwood so much that we never went to any other locations. There are three services each Sunday, a formal service followed by the Bridge service which has a great band and a lighter feel and open atmosphere. They have also started an early service at 9am called Upper Room" because it is done in a loft area. This is a good sized church with 500+ members. There are activities and groups of all sorts that you can get involved in. Child day care during service so that you can enjoy without distractions. The staff is the best, led by Pastor Jim Lankheet. He has a way to bring the message to me every week. Sometimes I wish he wasn't talking to me or at least if feels that way! I also think that getting GOD back into my life was good for me, my marriage and my boys.
