When you first step inside, the atmosphere might take your breath away. The church walls are filled with sacred icons, images of Christ and the saints, not as decoration but as a visual theology that surrounds you in the story of salvation. You can see glimpses of this beauty in the photos here on Yelp, but they don't fully capture the sense of reverence and peace you'll feel in person. One of the first things I was taught here is that the Church isn't a museum for saints. It is a hospital for the soul. And that's exactly what this place has been for me: a place of healing, of learning, and of spiritual renewal. If you're curious about Orthodox Christianity, don't be intimidated. There's no pressure, no awkward stares, just people genuinely glad that you came. Sit toward the back, soak in the chanting, the incense, and the profound words (most of which are directly from Scripture), and just be. The service isn't a performance. It is an encounter. Come and see.
