Comprehensive Physical Therapy- Honesdale, Pa. Post Rotator…read moreCuff Surgery PT- Selected CPT Honesdale as they had great reviews. Received excellent coordination from CPT with my surgeon prior to services. Initial contact with CPT, was exceptional, with clear explanation of what to expect in form of a personal plan of therapy(verbal, , written and online via app), a highly supportive, welcoming environment, easy to follow home exercises to support in office visits, great interactions with staff (fun, professional and supportive), regular feedback on progress, and adjustments of therapy with focus on results. And would you believe that physical therapy could actually be fun? it sure was, the staff were always pleasant, truly cared about progress and worked hard making that happen. Made solid improvement. What a great team of professionals. Couldn't have made a better choice. They are that good!!

What I thought was arthritis turned out to be damage to my elbow, so my rheumatologist sent me here for treatment. I didn't realize how damaged it was until she got into massaging the area, which has been extremely painful, but I have noticed improvement. I was at 50% strength in my left hand to my right. The exercises have helped, and I am optimistic that recovery will be soon. If you need OT, this is the place to go

I…read moredidn't come in from a doctor's recommendation (just hurt myself and knew nothing was broken). Innocent really took the time during our first appointment to understand my injury, see what I could still do in range versus what I could not do or what caused me pain, and customized a treatment plan for me to gain my full range of motion back, pain-free. Diana was great in getting me set up and scheduled, and Gretchen kept me motivated through my follow-up appointments and continually provided tips on easy home exercises and posture that expedited my recovery. So glad I spent a few sessions here as I have my range of motion back again! Note - they also offer their gym equipment for use with a monthly fee. Could be a great quiet place to exercise as I'm not sure there are many other gyms in the area.

He was welcoming and so helpful in my first visit. Since, I started there, I have also had the opportunity to work with both Kevin and Jennifer who have also been excellent. Lastly, a really big shout out to Diana - the person who wears 10 hats. Entry into any system is the most important role. From the first phone call with Diana to her greeting us as we walk in, I always feel taken care of. Honesdale is such a wonderful team, and I think if you are within distance of using their services, you should. PT is not a one size fits all, I am very satisfied that I chose Access Honesdale!

I'm over 50, but have a 14 year old, so I'm always running here & there. Ever since I had children (19 years ago), my back & hip have had that annoying feeling when I do activities, sit or lie. In the past year, they got worse & worse, to where I felt like a large medicine ball was sitting on my legs. I had pain when I was sleeping, so I tossed & turned all night. When I walked I looked like a 95 year old woman, and didn't enjoy walking any more. When I was sitting, or lying down, I took me 1-2 minutes to get up, knowing there was going to be pain. I ended up taking Advil every day. Since Sue, at Elm Tree has helped my children numerous times, who are track & field athletes, I finally decided to go to her for myself. I didn't think she could do for me what she did for my son & daughter. As I said before...Wizard!! She worked on me for an hour, using hands-on manipulation. She explained everything she was doing. She explained what was out of place and the pain it caused. She told me to move my leg 'this' way, while she pressed 'that' way. She explained that the pain started with the pubic bone (yes...the pubic bone). I thought it would be embarrassing & uncomfortable, but it was completely opposite. When Sue was done, she asked me to stand up. I was moving very slowly, waiting for the pain, but NOTHING! NO PAIN! I walked across the room, painless. Not only was the medicine ball feeling gone, but I felt 6 inches taller. The only problem is that I wanted to hug her, but couldn't, due to COVID 19. lol Thank you Sue & Elm Tree Wellness & PT! I just completed 5 months of pt following a serious auto accident, and my experience at Elm Tree was uniformly fantastic. Regular visits by Hank, the owner's German Shephard therapy dog were also an unexpected bonus. Elm Tree made physical therapy fun and therapeutic. Kudos to you guys!
