She told me other buyers put in bids for this house, one being $165,000. I told her that I am putting in an offer of $167,000 and seller pay closing costs. Without my knowledge and without my consent, she wrote up the contract for $177,000 and then took off $500 as a repair reduction. Bottom line is that Kelli Paul with Bender Realty added $17,100 to the original price instead of the verbal contract/agreement of adding $7,100. I did not know until the day of closing why she did this to me. It was done to line her and the other realtors pocket with $10,000. As I looked at the document for the first time I realized she deviously increased the selling price of the home by $10,000 for her gain. I didn't want to go through with the sale. But, I panicked and signed the contract anyway because I had to move out of my already sold home within 5 days. On September 17, 2021, I texted Kelli Paul and stated that I do not want any surprises on closing day. She stated that she will get the title company to draw up and send me a preliminary closing document. She did not do this. I did not see the document until closing day, October 19, 2021. She had plenty of time to do her job and get it right for me. Instead, she kept it a secret until the last minute and swindled $10,000 from me. Do NOT hire Kelli Paul or anyone at Bender Realty. They will NOT work for you. They will take advantage of you. I contacted a lawyer. But, since I panicked and signed on the dotted line, nothing can be done and I have lost thousands of dollars. I have, also, lost peace of mind. I have not been able to sleep since this horrible ordeal. I can not think clearly, I have continual panic attacks and severe depression has set in.

One star, since I cant give no stars. we worked with Bender…read more back in 2015 Billie Stevens, to say the least was not happy with the results, and or our realtor not having the back bone to stand up to unrealistic requests from the seller, we had agree to multiple requests from the seller, the last one broke the camel back to say the least. Seller requesting for us to pay $500 a month in maintains fees, to increase earnest monies. No backbone from Billie Stevens from unrealistic demands. Our contracted, section 6 states: Seller agree to give buyer 48 hours to honor this agreement if another acceptable offer is received. In the event that the Buyers cannot honor the agreement, the sellers will refund all lawn care expenses incurred by the Buyer plus earnest money. Well we never got back our $1000 dollar earnest money.

Three weeks into our search, Adam called me with a listing, starting that day, of a great house for my family's needs. I did my part by offering a price substantially above market, but Adam crafted an offer that had advantages for the seller that I would not have thought of, then he shrewdly put a 24-hour expiration on it to force the seller to decide quickly, before more than 1 or 2 competing offers could come in. Offer accepted! Through the inspection process, Adam demonstrated a deep understanding about how houses are built - and of what breakdowns can develop that a seller should repair. I can't verify it, but he appears to me to have construction experience of his own. He further referred me to the best contractors he knew for various inspections and repairs. Throughout the five weeks from acceptance to closing, Adam always responded to my texts, calls or emails very quickly to answer my questions and offer me very sound advice for decisions buyers have to make. during the sale, a real estate agent is the seller or buyer's shepherd, navigating the client through uncertainties and decisions. Adam is a very skilled shepherd! After closing and our move-in, Adam didn't disappear; he checked in often to ask if everything was going all right with the new home. I didn't expect the level of service, after closing, that he offered. I work in an exacting profession, am detail oriented and am not the easiest customer to please. In my particular case, Adam met or exceeded expectations in every category. Overall, I found simply no weaknesses in his game; at all times, from house hunting, to after we moved into our new home, Adam made me feel like I was his only client. After finally getting them…read moreto contact me after I filled out the rental agreement we got to start moving into our apartment which me and my family prepaid for a month in advance just to find that the place was infested with bed bugs. We called the maintenance number and they pretty much told me they didn't know what to tell us.. this is my home and they don't know what to tell me. Really?? So out of the 4 weeks I paid in advance I didn't even get to stay one night they did they sprayed 2 times in that period but yet they are still crawling around like they own the place. However they did offer me my money back but I didn't need my money back I needed a place for me and my family to call home. I will NEVER again do any business with this horrible and uncaring business.. so you have been warned
