My family member was treated well, and the doctor came out to talk to me about the outcome of the surgery. They were even so kind as to provide me with a place to pump that wasn't the bathroom or waiting area! I was prepared to do it in my car, but it's nice for people to be accommodating and kind! I also didn't have any cell service in the area (Sprint, if you're wondering), but I was able to connect to the wi-fi. Surgical recovery is also going well so far!

After i gave him the ct scan of my ankle he tells me that he will call me after he speaks to his surgeon. 2 and a half weeks later i call them and ask whats going on and apparently he never called me back to tell me he put in a referral for me. The refferall also took two weeks and thats beyonde me. I have wasted almost a month trying to recover thanks to this guy and his lack of care torwards his patients. If you want a actually good quality service from healthcare professionals i would avoid this place at all costs. 0/5 stars

He immediately saw a young, black lesbian woman, and had absolutely nothing but distain every time we spoke to him. If she is telling you that it's her foot...why would you send her to get a MRI on her ankle when the Workmen's Comp. adjuster ask him about it Kyle's exact word we were," I felt like it was the ankle." He was not the patient and he didn't listen to what the patient was saying. She had an a reaction from the MRI... When we went to the emergency room they told us it was inflammation. Saw Kyle the very next day, he told us he didn't see anything on MRI! We should not pay for that service bc he DID NOT LISTEN TO THE PATIENT. He did an MRI ON HER ANKLE, when she repeatedly said her foot and tried to show him. There was no empathy. There was no concern. How can you be a good physician assistant , if you won't even listen to what the patient is saying. Then he proceeds to tell my daughter MRI(s)don't cause people to have any kind of reactions... Which the ER DOCTOR said that was a lie! Clearly there has been studies showing that the infrared heat from the MRI can get stuck in the tissue, causing a very hot sensation in discomfort from for the patient, he didn't believe her and wrote there was nothing wrong, he stated he saw nothing on the MRI of her ankle... When it wasn't her ankle, it was her foot. AND WE REPEATEDLY TOLD HIM THIS FACT. We left out filling, unseen and unheard after every visit we had with Kyle this place needs to go out of business as long as they have him there he is not professional at all, he does not listen to the concerns at least not of a young, black lesbian woman, act as if she's lying... Went to another Workmen's Comp. physician and guess what she was not lying... thank goodness for our new doctor. We are considering our options for Kyle GROSS NEGLIGENCE!

I had a generally positive experience with the medical side of Chatham Orthopedics. The doctors and…read morenurses I interacted with were professional, respectful, and provided good care overall. That said, my experience with the billing and payment process was extremely frustrating. Before surgery, while I was injured, vulnerable, and had not even had time to collect a paycheck, I received multiple separate payment demands. The surgery center told me I needed to pay about $2,000 up front and indicated that was the only up-front payment I would be responsible for. Then the physician's office contacted me requesting another $1,500 and also represented that as the only payment I needed to make. After that, the anesthesiologist contacted me requesting roughly another $1,000 before surgery. It felt relentless and deeply stressful at a time when I was already dealing with a serious injury and preparing for surgery. I ultimately paid the surgery center, but the whole process became even more frustrating because my insurance out-of-pocket maximum is $3,500. Because of the way these charges were handled, my insurance has been slow to catch up, and I have had to keep paying money out of pocket even though I should be at or near the point where my insurance covers 100%. I understand that medical billing is complicated, but the way this was handled felt disorganized and unnecessarily aggressive. The care itself was good, and I respect the nurses and doctors, but the financial experience left a very bad impression.
