The last review I wrote was 4 years ago. It was great. Now it's terrible. You call get put in hold and I can drive up there and still ve on hold after 15 min while the front office is playing on their phones and chatting with each other. They call you and you try to call back Good Luck 12 calls later noone answers. I. I love the Dr's. But I can't deal with the fact I can never reach them because the front end is ridiculously awful. Been with them over 30 years now... I'm changing to another office because the lack of professionalism in the front. I have been coming to this clinic for years just to be very disappointed in how things are now. I have been calling and going to the office for a month trying to make an appointment . I found out from the pharmacy my doctor is no longer there. I got into a accident and needed to be seen ASAP and had no idea she is retired. This very unprofessional and inconsiderate. I have a HMO and need referrals for everything! I don't understand how you can call yourself a doctor but not care about your patience. read more

I'm reviewing her now to let people know SHE'S RETIRED AND TOLD NO ONE. She was already an uncaring, unprofessional person, but this is unacceptable behavior. I found this out by trying to go to her walk-in in Westland only to be told by a nurse that she was gone. She didn't even tell her own staff. Her walk-in currently has no doctor on staff and no idea when they're gonna get one. Good luck if she was your primary GP! read more

The service here is absolutely HORRIBLE! I was a patient here for over 10 YEARS! They used to CARE! Now the people are RUDE! They don't take walk in anymore , but Yet the waiting times are ridiculous! All they care about is MONEY! DO NOT RECOMMEND! Everyone blames the service on the "new management!" Beware if you come here more than once for Urgent care. I've come here a few times; not that frequent. The doctor will make it known that she also has a private practice there. The last time I was there, she had a very nasty attitude and questioned me about why I didn't go to my primary doctor. I had to explain that I had an appt the following Tuesday with a dermatologist, but my issue worsened and was after office hours. She then repeated at least three times that the office was for urgent care and private practice as if I wasn't aware of that already. I don't feel like I should be pressured to make this woman my primary doctor. I've only gone there a few occasions. No worries. I don't plan on returning. There are plenty of other urgent care offices in the area. I don't feel like I deserve to be treated rudely by any doctor especially this one. read more

Great doctors, horrible front desk staff. They don't answer the phone regularly, they don't return messages, they hang up on patients. After years of going there, I'm out. The front staff caused a month's delay in a procedure I needed. read more

Not sure what happened to this practice but no one ever answers the phone pretty much ever, can't get prescriptions refilled, poorly trained reception area with constant staff changes, no return calls even after leaving multiple messages. And I am tired of seeing a physician assistant that changes each week when I am scheduled to see the doctor and who likes to Google your complaints to find out what is wrong with you instead of actually examining you thoroughly. Because of these factors, I am looking for a new doctor. My health counts on a reliable medical staff and Wayne Urgent Care no longer offers that. read more

The doctor and staff here are a great group. The wait time is reasonable and the wait room, restroom and exam rooms are clean.

Hi my name is Tiffany and I was a NP student at Wayne Medical Center working under Dr. Liyanage and Reema PA and I had a great experience. This was my first clinical rotation and I was nervous to say the least, but both Dr. Liyanage and Reema PA were very nice and helpful. Both of these providers are smart and approachable as well. I appreciated this because I felt super comfortable speaking with both of them and I know their patients felt the same way. All of the MA's in the office were helpful as well. The office was clean and they took extra precautions to limit the exposure to COVID-19 within the office. I like that they take telehealth appointments too. This is great because not everyone can make it to the clinic, but everyone deserves care. This shows that they care about their patients and are willing to accommodate them in any way possible. The thing that stood out to me the most about both of these providers is that they cared about their patients a lot. A lot of times you get providers who show very little interest in the concerns the patients are expressing, but not these two. Anytime I would see a patient and report my findings to either Dr. Liyanage and Reema PA, they would address everything the patient was concerned about no matter how big or small the concern was. The patients often spoke about how much they loved these two providers and how they only come here for care. The clinic was super busy, but the MA's and providers worked hard to accommodate everyone as quick as possible. Just from listening to the MA's answer phones and schedule appointments for the patients, I could tell that they tried to accommodate as many people as possible for one day. This was great because patients didn't have to wait for months to see a provider like some other healthcare establishments. They also scheduled many follow-up appointments for patients so they could follow them and track their progress. This showed that they care about their patients overall well being in the long run and not just during their appointments. As a RN, I've dealt with so many providers who literally do not care about their patients or listen to any of their concerns. It was nice to be doing my clinicals here and to see how much pride these two providers took in their work and how much pride they took in caring for their patients. They work hard to help their patients achieve their health goals. They literally help their patient's out in any way they can rather its medication samples or offering referrals. I also like how diverse the clinic is with their patient population. Its a mixture of ages, ethnicities, sex, etc. I hope to be a great provider like Dr. Liyanage and Reema PA one day. I've never come here without waiting so long. I will make an appointment and still wait over an hour. I understand if it's a walk-in because they are fitting you in when you can but when I'm sick and come in, I don't want to come sit in a waiting room for a hour and a half listening to loud customers and such. Then when I do get back there, I feel I'm being rushed. I will be switching primary care doctors. read more

My sister and I are never happy with the treatment here. We're not returning. A few days ago, my sister was diagnosed with Flu A in the emergency room (she was very short of breath). Today, my sister went in to be seen (her primary care as instructed by ER) with concerns of pneumonia due to a terrible wet cough that had developed. The doctor didn't even listen to her lungs. She only seemed pissed off that my sister didn't go back to the hospital stating, "If you got diagnosed there, why are you coming here?" So my sister left without even having truly been evaluated or assessed by the doctor. Yet she will still be charged for a visit for just having been scolded. TERRIBLE care. Also, I'm an ER nurse so I'm well aware of when to be concerned and when not to be. I actually recommended that my sister be seen as her productive cough is awful. So so disappointed with this practice. The last time I went there was for UTI symptoms in pregnancy and they had me sit and wait for 20-30 minutes until they could call the OB to ask what antibiotic I could have in pregnancy. I literally told them which ones are normally prescribed in the ER. What sort of primary care doctor doesn't know basic drugs?! Never going back there again. I wish I could've given zero stars for all of the time and money wasted. read more
