Even batting cage facilities like this in Charlotte don't have a golf simulator, Pickle ball, fitness classes, basketball, HITTRAX and an indoor soccer area all in one spot! Not to mention they have a lounge area with a big TV to keep you entertained while your waiting on your son or daughter to get in the reps they need. You can rent out time slots for various training areas, or even schedule to have your team use the facility. We showed up a half hour before they closed and the parking lot was packed with cars. I thought there was no way anyone would be there on a late Wednesday night, boy was I wrong! They currently have some weekend events of small group training with local professionals for Softball/Baseball. Friday nights they have 'Fun Nights' for the youth to come have pizza and watch a movie or enjoy the various parts of the facility while the parents hang out or they can go out for a dinner date for a couple hours. (Imagine that, a date with your wife!) Forget Chucky Cheese, you can even rent out the facility for a birthday party! I was able to chat with owners for a little bit and they are awesome locals who just had a dream to do this and the opportunity presented itself. I'm excited to see what happens in the future for them and I'm glad we have such a great resource for the youth and college players locally to use. I hope they continue to grow and someday even offer equipment sales, even if its a small selection of accessories such as bat grip, gloves, etc. that would be great! I won't go into details, but "short story"... Strike Zone was far superior in every aspect, and the others were a complete waste of time. (Both of the others are out of business now, so, clearly, we weren't the only ones disappointed!). Both trainers working with him here (Shane and Jeff) were completely focused on the child during the lesson, and actually got results. So, when our daughter wanted training, we knew just where to go. She has done amazingly well working with Sarah on hitting and with Jeff on catching. She moves differently, reacts differently, and uses her muscles differently. She went from awkward looking to athletic in her batting and behind-the-plate action. That would not have happened without the patient teaching of Strike Zone instructors. Most adults would get annoyed after giving the same instruction corrections over multiple sessions, but these folks just find another way to express it (because every kid interprets differently) until it sinks in! Addendum... I thought I submitted this a year ago and, apparently, failed to hit "post". One year later... the only change would be that I failed to comment on how fabulous the front desk staff has been over all these years (exceptionally nice - every single person !!!). We have been away for several months (just practicing independently), but plan to get her back in the rotation again soon because these trainers are amazing!

The Strike Zone is a cool little place in Greer. They have tunnels for rent to get reactive pitching and hitting and of course the batting cages. You can select from slow, medium, and fast pitch. The speed ranges from 40-80 mph. You buy tokens for one dollar a piece. One token = 15 pitches. You can also get 6 tokens for $5. Surprisingly 15 pitches last longer than you would think. They also have softball pitching options to brush up your office team skills. If your not into it but you are stuck waiting for your child to finish up, don't worry... They have big comfy leather couches and a tv in the lounge area to keep you entertained while you wait. All in all a very fun place especially for a rainy day. I would definitely recommend.

I have taken my girls here many times to practice and have not been dissapointed. They can handle individual practice or team practice with the amount of space and equipment. Lots of protective gear available like the L-shaped nets and full floor-to-ceiling nets covering smaller areas to allow for many activities to be on-going in parallel. T-ball stands, and auto-pitching machines are available too. They have COLD drinks for only $1 available and are super friendly and local. Love it and can't wait for next season!

Caleb quickly taught him the proper mechanics, and his accuracy improved noticeably right away. The other parents and coaches noticed as well. We still got work to do on hitting, but thanks to Caleb he took a giant step forward on pitching. We're going to continue with 1x1 lessons as we can. The facility is set up well. A large waiting room for parents with a tv and lots of chairs and couches. You can also watch them practice in the next room. They have bathrooms, drinks, and snacks. Plenty of parking.

The arcade area has a smell of old grease, and the selection of prizes include various things that are very clearly marked from Walmart. The mini golf course is ok. Could use some tlc as with all of adventure landing. When we did go for the mini golf a group of teenagers had spit on the plastic animals. I just wish they would put some money into the place.
