We were greeted immediately and the man working offered to upgrade me to a suite, which was really kind. I chose to keep my original room since I needed a king size bed. The room was clean and bright. The bed is super soft, which is fine for me but not for my husband. I love the 24 hour coffee tea and hot chocolate. The pool was nice. There is no hot tub. You must be 18 to go to the fitness room now. My minor son was bummed as he likes to walk on the treadmill next to me. We like the waffles at breakfast and the oatmeal bar. The juices are tasty too too. The other entrees change from day to day. I enjoyed the quiche yesterday but didnt try the biscuits and gravy today.

Awkward to eat. Tasted the best of the three though. The crabcakes were miniscule and mostly breading. My husband seemed unimpressed with the shrimp. The salads were simply dressed with no option but with what I guess could be called vinaigrette if I were being generous. The rolls were very grainy and not my thing. My salmon would have been terrific if it had been fresh. It was a huge portion but cold and the sauce had congealed. I liked the roasted potatoes and the veggies but again, cold. My husbands sliced steak concoction was at least warm and it was super tender. It was also well beyond a generous portion. He disliked the sauce though. The bar staff did well. We avoided the pitchers of flat beer and bad merlot, which helped. The mixed drinks were stellar. My Tito's and soda with a wee splash of cran and a lime were perfect. My husbands tequila and pineapple was also delish. Dessert was as good as the alcohol. Fantastic apple spice cake with cream cheese and caramel and a creamy chocolate pie. Yum. Anyone can have access to the main floor of BasBlue, where there is an INCREDIBLE cafe to get delicious drinks and food from. There is also a ton of seating for you to enjoy your food and drink and to cowork from as well. If you want to become a member, the upper floors are open to you with more collaborative and private spaces for you to enjoy! It is a non-profit organization and just a gloriously safe and intentionally-curated space to foster creativity and amazing vibes. I always feel so at peace and centered when I'm at BasBlue and love to take meetings from here as often as I can! It's located very close to the DIA, but only open during the weekdays. This is a very nicely renovated mansion turned into a woman's club. Like a late 1800's gentleman's club, only for women. There is a locker room/workout room/nursing area, but I did not see them because I am not a woman. They have lectures and groups within the club. They have a full kitchen, and the usual food on offer seemed like you would expect at a starbucks or better. They have drinks, coffee, and wine. The wine was higher end. And they use an ordering app so members at different rooms of the club can order easily. Lots of rooms. Dining and lecture rooms, lounge and club type rooms, conference rooms. A large event room. All really nice. There are smaller serving bars on the second and third floors. Depending on age, annual membership is 600 or 1200 dollars. It looked great. Maybe it could have used more restrooms, but that is sort of reaching for something negative to say.

The good part about this day is there are a ton of things for the family to do. We did not have any…read morekids with us, but this park was convenient to wear. Our family reunion was being held so we opted to stay here. We were unable to get a full hook up site, all we could reserve was one with water and electric, which for tonight was fine. We are KOA club member so we did get a little bit of a discount, but it was still about 60 bucks a night for this site. They have two different areas where they assigned spaces. One is grassy and open with full sun and the other is completely shaded by the waterfront. It had rained for a couple days prior to our arrival so the roads were very muddy. I would agree with most of the other commenters that their roads are in pretty bad shape, very rutted and it is a slow process to drive your car through these roads. They were putting some gravel in the entryway when we arrived, but I would say the internal sites near the water were a bit of a mess. It's just very muddy and it really doesn't need to be this way. There's a huge mix of campers, fifth wheels and many tents so there is something for everyone. I cannot comment on whether they charge for different items such as the bounce pad and such as we didn't have any kids with us. I didn't see any priceless anywhere though. We did do laundry. Two dollars to wash, two dollars to dry and everything worked just fine. The staff were pretty friendly. They seem to all be friends and get along really well. We did not use the shower rooms or bath house since we're self-contained. Wi-Fi worked, but it was iffy. Verizon service was pretty good. One of our biggest frustrations was having a pull through site that you really couldn't pull your car out of! There were too many hairpin turns from site 205 so unfortunately, we had to go back to the main entrance and pull off to the side of the road to hook the car back up. Kind of a pain!

Upgrades for 2025: new cement patios (we upgraded and are currently on one) and outside showers are in the process of being upgraded/fixed. Of course, there are some negatives like the roads are rutted and trashed from the rain and the dog park is not fenced. Aside from that the sites are of decent size, friendly staff and nice big store. We will definitely be coming back.
