Anthony agreed to come out and fix it. We were surprised it was leaking so quickly after replacement. he said he would not charge us but that it would be the last time. After that we would have to pay all over again. On October 27, 2025, and Sprinklers came out to do normal maintenance on our sprinkler system and the backflow valve was leaking just as it had when Anthony replaced it and then fixed it eight months later. The backflow valve appeared to be very old according to the technician. When Anthony said he replaced it in August 2023, I did not retain the part. This time I will retain it. This repair is quite expensive. My bill today including some other adjustments was $895. I'm writing this to advise you that if you use Curtis Plumbing, retain the parts that they replace. I'm still not convinced that Anthony ever replaced the backflow valve in the first place.

She called me and I told her to send them on their way. They charged her a $200 service charge and made her feel ashamed for not going through with the job. I called another plumber I've used before and they quoted $250, so I scheduled them. When I called and spoke with Tim, he tried to explain to me how difficult of a job it would be to remove the toilet and clear the line. After questioning him, he admitted it would likely take under an hour. He then told me that he didn't quote $970 that he actually quoted $790 or something of that nature. I don't believe him over my mother and if you are willing to change your prices that quickly you know you're being unethical anyways. TIM, I'm a man of my word and I promised you a 1 star review. Kielty Plumbing, Heating & Cooling was a positive one -- but unfortunately, it was far from it. I needed to coordinate a plumber for a seller who had already moved out of state to South Carolina. The home is vacant, and we discovered a minor leak in the laundry room near the washer hookup as well as an issue with the main water shut‑off valve. R.J. Kielty came out during the week, gave us a quote, and assured us they'd order the parts and be back on Friday to complete the work. Friday came... and in the middle of the day, we got a call saying the parts weren't in and they wouldn't be out until Monday. That was frustrating, but we waited. When they did finally come out, they only sent the sellers a photo of a small portion of the work they did in the laundry room. When I personally went to the home to inspect, I was shocked. There was a massive hole cut in the laundry room wall -- and in the process of removing the drywall, they had carelessly ripped off large sections of paint. They never disclosed this to the seller, and simply left it that way, knowing full well the home is getting ready to go on the market. When the seller called them, the plumber simply said, "I don't do drywall, there's nothing I can do." No apology, no offer to make it right. As someone who prides herself on connecting clients with trustworthy vendors, I'm incredibly disappointed. Not only was the schedule pushed and communication poor, but the lack of care -- and the fact that they took advantage of the seller being out of state -- is unacceptable. I cannot recommend R.J.
