The girls working there on the day I visited were extremely friendly and very interested in the fact that I could speak some Polish. We struck up a short conversation, it was a real pleasure. My friend and I were looking for a place to cool off after an afternoon of sightseeing, and it was nice to retreat to the cool of this cafe. We ordered some iced coffees and desserts - because double the sweets is always a good idea. They had so many chocolates as they are also a chocolatier, and I really wish I had saved room to buy some. Every piece looked scrumptious. My drink was tasty, and I drank it too fast. I was glad to have ordered water. It still shocks me to have to pay for water, but I'm not in America anymore, and I'd better get used to it. I ordered the raspberry dessert, and you could tell that it was pre-made. It came in a little plastic cup, and while it looked great, it wasn't fresh-tasting, and it was overly sweet. But it wasn't bad, so I don't want to scare you away. The wifi is free - check for the password on the wall near the coffee bar. Toilets are for customers only, so buy something! Make sure to head to the back for additional seating. There is limited space near the front (and the back room is cooler and more relaxing too!)

Yelp Review 2023 #264:…read more Wawel Castle and Cathedral is an important landmark in Krakow. It's been around since the 11th century and expansions and renovations have happened since then. Wawel has witnessed lots of political/ historical state events, different kings/ rulers. To learn more about Kraków's and Wawel's history, you can visit the museum for a fee but some days you can get in for free. It's a big area and you can spend hours here. But if your time is limited, you can walk around the perimeter in an hour. Within the castle grounds is the cathedral. You'll see a statue of Karol Wojtyla, aka Pope John Paul II, Poland's son who was born in a town an hour away from Krakow called Wadowice. He was the archbishop of Krakow for several years. This castle has been demolished and occupied. After World War I, Poland regained the castle and made it the official resident of their president. If you have time, two things you need to look for when you visit the castle: a sword (that has a name I cannot remember), and Dragon's Den. Both have interesting stories attached to them but I don't think they're related. You'll also see a statue of a dragon. This castle is easily accessible. There's a tram stop in front of it downhill.
